[@Shuy] No matter happens I'm going to try to get an apartment, though worst case scenario and I don't get into school again this year, I'll stay at home where things will save me money, however I do wish to get into school. I feel like I can get enrolled immediately it's just these darn teachers or whoever that I'm e-mailing don't tell me how. Just tell me the exact direction into their course catalog or whatever and help me enroll, cause I went to school in Philadelphia and the school registration system was different, in fact it's a different school compared to regular schools. After I'm checked on that, then it'll be rush to find a place to live. The school is already like 3 hrs away from what my friend says, so he commute will not be an easy one but I'm not worried about living by myself. Hopefully I can somehow find a good deal on a place with water and utilities and eventually get internet myself. It'll be nice if they had cable but I wouldn't need cable if I had internet. lol not sure when you're moving into a whole new apartment or place that you need to buy a whole new bedframe and whatnot. I wanna live in a nice, small, clean house, like the ones you see in anime even when high school kids move out, and all they eat all the time is cup ramen, which I won't do, I'll find grocery stores and whatnot like I did in the city, although the closest one in the city was like 10 blocks away, lol. Geez. USC is good, obviously cause of football but I know a few friends that go there now. Dorming in those types of school must suck, are you still going to dorm or get your own place? What are you doing if you graduate USC, gonna move back home and find a job right away? You already know where I'm trying to go after I "finish school". [@Toyumi] Yeah it's not like I'm Simon from AI or Chef Ramsey... who I really like as people. XD If you wanna do that then do it, I wouldn't really suggest going into GFX professionally unless you already want to do it now full time, and obviously you said you don't want to so just keep it as a hobby. My school is a private art school, so GFX is taught differently at other schools, and it's also a bit faster a well since it's not semester based, but yeah just stick to your plans now cause honestly if you only want to do photoshop work, don't get into GFX. Cause at other schools you have to go through annoying first year of fundamentals where you don't even use photoshop.

Well, the USC Im talking about is University of South Carolina, which was USC first; but University of Southern California is widely known as USC. Did you mean South Carolina, or Southern Cal? Sorry if my saying USC threw ya off. But if you actually mean South Carolina, too, that's pretty awesome! As for getting my own place at SC, I was going to probably move into a Dorm, but I would rather have my own apartment or something. I am only like 20-30 minutes from Campus depending on traffic, but the bad thing is during the semester parking is horrible. Like 20k students trying to fit in parking lots meant for half that, or so it seems. I won't be transferring there for at least another year or two, though. I have to get enough credits to transfer into the School of Journalism over there. For when I get out though, I'll prolly be back at home for awhile, unless I get a job lined up before hand with my career that I know can pay well enough for my own place. I won't mind getting back home while I get everything straight, though. [In total that time is still about 3-4 years down the line] For your enrolling, that's pretty lame. I can't stand when teachers aren't willing to kinda help you out with certain things, especially when you pay as much as you do for school. You're essentially a potential 'customer' and in you're situation they don't seem to be helping you buy what you need. Luckily at my school right now, registration is simple. You just have to get in there before everyone else, or you miss out on the classes you may want/need. and I would enjoy a place like the one you describe. If it's just me, it would be fine, and perhaps a rather enjoyable experience since it won't require loads of cleaning and whatnot to make it nice. Oh, and to add, I plan to write and whatnot during my time in school, aiming to maybe get published some day even while Im in school. It just depends on how things go. |

[@Shuy] Hmm, I was talking about USC (California). And yeah it's mostly know like that cause of NCAA football. I'd dorm for a year then maybe move out, but it depends on your situation. Cause when I went to school in Philly, dorms were hella expensive and the school alone was too expensive. So that's the only reason I wouldn't want to dorm anymore but that was just a horrific experience, financially. I'm not even sure how close I'll be to school if I get an apartment. My one friend has his own place but it's like a mile away from school (but he has his own car). And yeah, the one guy who I found on the program's page, was like "I'm not affiliated with this program". His f#cking name was on the page on who to contact for help... On the website they said they were possibly going to have the Korean program as a major if it got more popular, but seeing as how the page must be out-dated or it's not yet a major (nor minor) I doubt I'll have trouble getting it, but you never know. Eventually when I get into school again I'll have to apply for a new loan... :/ Though luckily I did all the FAFSA stuff earlier but whatever happens, happens. I just want to get into school, find a reasonable priced place to live regardless of size, and get this journey going already. The thing that annoys me the most though, is my mom constantly bugs me about "when am I going to see you in another cap/gown". Got one for HS, when am I going to get another one for college, honestly I don't care about that, she still doesn't "get" what I'm doing and where I wanna do it... She only cares about money and wanted me to become some doctor or something, but whatever when I'm standing next to Rain she'll see where I am in life.

 @wow.. an EP?! cool!! @___@ LOC.. ;o is that..your band name? hmm so.. are you a trainee now ;o? hmmm...recording music maybe you can ask Ehmz about the mixing and mastering! she might be able to help you on that? xo do you have Korean friends? maybe they can help you after you finished recording(not in a sense that they help you to send the demo but in a sense that your korean pronounciation and sound etc -- they will be a big help on that if you really want to do it for real ;x) and welcome to the club, Kiba,RZ! xo @__@ well.. i am not too sure what i should talk or what to say about anyway D'x so i just stop by and say hello xo |

DA: LOL. The first thing I saw when I load the thread was this line: "but whatever when I'm standing next to Rain she'll see where I am in life." Most parents do that, making a life-plan for their children. I guess I'm really lucky that they gave me the freedom to choose a career and not just telling me to inherit the family business. That's what I was afraid of when I was a kid, my dad making me study all about business and economics (my weak points besides geography and history). A doctor huh, I never really imagine people around me being a doctor or a dentist. It just scares me XD. I'm fine with lawyers and others... but yeah. DX Anyways, my designs kinda have become more professional. Mostly because of the way we were trained to design websites for companies and not for personal reasons. But still dude, you are WAAAAAAYYY above me in perspective aspect. XD Jon: I kinda survived a few sessions already. I was labeled as a "very complicated and manipulative case". I'm kinda questioning his liability as a shrink though... he diagnosed me as being a schizo even though the symptoms are not present yet. He even prescribed some drugs to "prevent" something I kinda miss him say. I already convinced my parents to reconsider though. No answer yet. *sigh* Good luck with your facial hair, I'm kinda jealous of people being able to grow them. DX Kiba: Lol, a post is not enough to tell you what's going on lately. XD But you'll get the gist of it by reading my posts here. XD ------ SO yeah, I'm feeling a little woozy from the medication I'm taking. Gotta report this tomorrow before the session. Out.

[@Adel] lol no I'm not a trainee yet, though I wish. XD That would've been quite a surprise for you wouldn't it, but yeah I'm not there yet unfortunately. That's just a name I use for myself, no band or group anything. Kind of like T.O.P (BIGBANG). It's pronounced the same way as way, since in Japanese it's like "roku". Trying to find a possible hangul on it but I don't know anyone who can check. I ordered my mic and stuff a week ago or so and amazon's about to ship it soon. I'm going to cover songs first before recording it by next year so watch out for it! I'll share my covers and whatnot here as well so look out for those as well. Hmm, does Ehmz know how to produce and compose beats? And I thought she's a "he"? :D [@Keiri] lol, watch you'll see. I'll meet him one day and become friends with him. Most of the kids in my family go into something medical related, I'm the first one who's like not going into that "stereotype" field in my family, so I guess my mom's like, "huh?". It'll be fine if I do make it to where I want to go, but yeah there's a lot of obstacles right now. Hmm, I haven't seen any new media related things from you in a while. lol if you went into design professionally, I doubt you'd get a lot of clients because you whore out purple a lot. XD

LOOOOOL I'm really not supposed to post anything yet... but! DA: WTF DUDE?! "you whore out purple a lot" either you're messing with me or you've gone color blind (-01% chance)... I'm even considering the chance that that message isn't for me but anyways, I usually do ORANGE lol, I cannot just pass that up. XD And guess what? I follow a different color scheme depending on the whims of the client (depending on their company colors/product colors) otherwise, I stick to "public friendly" colors. The principles of design, I can't do anything "WHOA" but me and my team can pass off as professionals when we need to. XD I only use orange for my personal taste... :| Good luck on your future dental adventures though, I'll post up the pasta pics when you got painful gums and everything. :D

@DA - I think my friend is rocking something like that, but I would never go for that. Full neck beards tend to get really itchy, at least for me. I'm going to stick with a goatee for the time being. I'm only about a week and a half in at the moment though. One of my co-workers noticed, but she's the only one so far. On the plus side, at least it was a girl that noticed. lol @Keiri - That seems kind of irresponsible on his part. Might be trying to take the easy way out, since you seem to be getting difficult to get along with. lol    |

But that's a pretty d#ck move lol. [@Jon] Aww snap whatever works for you! And yeah itchy plus this summer weather would be torture. And yes, as Keiri mentioned I'm having another dentist appointment next week and what good timing. I just got my mic and stuff today (set up the stand already), but now I probably won't be able to test the mic/filter until after I get my 'root canal' next Tuesday, what a drag. Also Jon, I'm sure I can still play OF:RR if I get it from GF, but yeah I might be in pain or something after the operation.

Jon: lol... I'm just living with everything now. I'll get out of his sessions by this up coming Monday. DA: grapes... :| Anyways, I'd probably stay on the coding team or better yet... be the head of team. XD I might not have the talent to actually make something nice, but I have the eyes and the logic to tell what looks nice. XD -- Another anyways is that (I'm not sure if I've already mentioned it here) I'm planning to have my hair cut within this quarter of the year. Earlier, I was already waiting at the salon when I suddenly got up and left due to the fact that I don't have any idea what style I want to do this time around. Usually, I style my own hair and trim if myself every week... so yeah, it was really hard for me to think of a style DIFFERENT from what I usually do. Then after I got home and went on researching about cognitive psychology to be applied on Human Computer Interaction... it suddenly hit me: "Lee Jun Ki" - lol, do not ask me why, it really just popped inside my mind. So yeah, here's a 'few' pics that I'm considering for the style. I'mma do a bit from everything... just wanna get your feedback on the general style: //removed just go search for jun ki pics

@ ahah.. you are going to break Ehmz's heart if you say she is a he ahaha. But alright. She is not that offended anyway xo let's just say it all started when we had a little joke about her being genderless (and she even adapted that) and it ends up that 'genderless' is who she is now. oh well, she replied with a 'I am too feminine to be a guy, and too manly to be a girl. 8D' comment xo Ehmz knows how to mix (using the adobe audition software) but she does not know how to compose or produce beat though (sorry v.v) LOC - alright! i will keep updating the thread and wait for your release/cover xo @why the hair like Lee Jun Ki's orz..?but ok..his hair looks cool and messy +_+b (am i the only person that thinks he is a potential tarp v.v?! ..i must have watched too many animes lately D;!) |

And you don't have to keep updating here, although it's good to keep in touch. Because I'll let you know in advance when I even start working on it, which is not anytime soon. I'm just going to use covers and whatnot to practice, and then eventually try to produce on my own. Not sure where I'll post 'em all, maybe I'll make a thread or post 'em in the karaoke thread.

@ Zaku- Being single for the fourth of July isn't that bad (Definitely not as bad as it is for Valentine's Day). I'm actually having a lot of fun this fourth of July, even though I was single for the fourth of July last year as well so I don't really have much to compare it to. XD I went to a concert last night with one of my friends and saw some fireworks then, and I know I'll be able to see more fireworks from my house later on tonight when the time comes (As I was able to for the past two nights) because my house is top of a hill. @ All- Well, how is everyone else doing? Does anyone have any plans to travel in the near future? As for myself, I'm going to travel quite a bit this summer. I'm going on vacation on the sixth for about 2 weeks, then in August I'll be going on a few short trips to check out some colleges. Just wondering if anyone else here is in the same situation as I am, more or less (Although I doubt it since I think most people here are already in college >.>).  |

@Toyumi: Haha same here about being single last fourth of July XD. We differ on the case on fireworks and safety though. My house got hit with like 20 fireworks already >_> As for traveling. I'm moving down to maryland for college on Sunday. So i'll be gone for like 3 to 6 months XD. I hope you have fun on your vacation :D.

Lol, so it's been a while. Even though it's only 1 page back, I kinda skimmed... REALLY fast through most of the posts. X_X Laziness at its best. I'm glad other ppl sort of enjoy the food network as well. @DA: The thing is even if I did buy a new TV myself, I might not even use it after a month or so, as I might be traveling around for school. So might as well just not spend any money on it. The only time I'll buy my own TV is when I REALLY settle somewhere. @Toyumi: Having a house at high elevations is a good thing. On really cold days when it's raining down below, we get snow? o.O At least I do. xD @Zaku: o.O Like REAL fireworks or just random kids playing around? If it was real then whoever launched them has some really "professional" firework skills. @Everyone: Ehhhh, so what's been going on? Anything epic happen to anyone?  |

@ Zaku- Ouch. Well, I guess someone is really set out against you if your house is getting hit by real fireworks. That's kind of like a fire hazard too. Just saying. XD And thanks! @ Komaro- Well sometimes I get snow when it's raining or drizzling down below, although that doesn't happen a lot. Usually it's just the same weather up here as it is down there. The only thing is that when the power goes out here it'll take longer to come back on than it would if I lived downhill. XD |
