alright... gendou forums was the last of the tabs in my browser to be closed.. XD but before that: Rin: yeah, though dun fret much since you are somewhat prepared for that matter. A tablet? nice. Kakuu: just shut up and take all your blue~ness with you.. XD and yeah, I should try going here more often... that's only gonna happen when I have as much free time as you do. DA: hmm, I'm taking Computer Science, majoring in programming. I dun know your school and I dun really have the knowledge of w/c schools specializes in what(lol except for the original MIT)... so I don't have anything to say in terms of where to transfer. Me? Even though I was the one who insisted on going to mine, right now I kinda regret my decision. Classes 7 days a week, 12-14 hours per day and a high grade cut-off rate.. I'm pretty much stressed out... x.x The only consolation I have is my position/power - no wait, it's added stress - well, the people I get to know? nah, most of them are just plain troublesome... only a few are what you may say 'ok.' I've been wondering how my life would've been if I were attending another university... XD

[@Jon] Haha, of course I knew that, was a bit sarcastic. :P I overcame my shyness, too, well not entirely, but it's gotten better the past like year or so. I just decided to be a bit more sociable up front, but give the impression that I'm friendly and nice (which I am, no mask there). Of course there's certain situations and people where I'm like dead silent, but that's natural, too. It also helps that there's a better crowd of people that help make it easier. Put me in a group of asians like me I'd totally feel at home. [@Kakuu] I'm growing my hair out and I might something like the Kyo (Dir en Grey) hawk, lol. But I'm figuring out how to have the side cause I like having the sides. It just really depends, plus for now I have to get my haircut at home cause I haven't found a nice place in the city to cut my hair. [@Keiri] lol, computer science was so boring when I took it. I thought about dropping it but just decided to take it and it was easy to pass, plus the teacher was awesome. I go to this school called The Art Institute (there's 40 nationwide in my country). But it sucks cause their school system is different since it's a private school, technically. The first year they have you taking fundamental classes that really have no relation to your major (mines if GFX Design). And like I don't want to waste a year and money taking courses I don't need to take but is forced to take. -____-" My goal is to get out of the country and try to pursuit a career in acting for drama and whatnot. Honestly, I'd love to give it a try. Another thing I'd like to try is a career in music in Japan, either as a vocalist or some sort of producer or something, and then there's also working under an anime company or something still with drama/film. I mean honestly, just getting out of the country to live in Japan/Korea I'd be happy. This country is slowly failing and I want out. You go to school half the day every single day? HOLY F#CK!?

a cousin is staying with us at the moment. i can't believe i'm too shy to talk to her though...i dunno how can i survive going out with her tomorrow. @jon oh, so sorry. i misread that...*sigh* i need a new glasses, for crying out loud... but anyways, maybe you should have some sorta...motivation. maybe reading books help? like...something that helps you boost your confidence. i don't feel like having a girlfriend yet so i'm not really good with helping like this. @twin thanks ^^ @mei lol my stay in lagoon really paid off! i got a bunch of trolls...and my money is gonna be enough to buy an obelisk! /returns from a no-post streak Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted here much, I've been sorta busy at home, and don't have enough time when I'm on to post here sometimes. So how's everyone doin here? And a nice welcome to Jon. Haven't talked to you since the tourney man. How you doin? As for me, I have finals in two weeks, and I forgot most the info over break; curses >.> And on top of that, I have a giant project/presentation to do that counts for 20% of my grade in THREE CLASSES. Oh joy >.> It's going to be a mock trial on the "To Kill a Mockingbird," trial. I got casted as Heck Tate, the Sherrif, so I have to memorize his lines, and perform them for the other classes. Each class has to do their own presentation, and theres 3 classes. Also, we're graded as a whole class, so one person can screw us over. I'm going to be hating these next few weeks >.>

[@kiralight] Yeah, thats like a weaker version of even DSL. It's weird, when I used my PC before I had my Macbook, when I would dL something, I'd get a 90 kb/s dL speed consistently. When I used the internet when I came home for like Thanksgiving break for the first time, the dL speed was how it is now, 250 kb/s+!! I mean yeah, the first thing I said was like, "Mac ftw". I mean if I have that in the dorm which I should, consistently, I don't care about anything else. But like it loops up and down, and I don't even get speeds that I had on my PC/DSL, and sometimes it's like below 10 kb/s!!!! [@Kira] How old is your cousin? Is she older? She pretty? Maybe I can take her off your hands? XD [@Haseo] lol that sucks for you, good luck though.

@kira- What, like romance novels or something? I don't buy in to those self help books if that's what your trying to suggest. @Haseo - Not that great, but I can manage. Good to see you again as well. We're RP'ing together now too I think. @Adeline - It seems that you are still under the outdated impression that the only way you can make a good living is by going to University. There is still a large demand for people taking University courses (Lawyers, Doctors, etc.) but in today's world there is an equal, if not greater demand for people in the trades sector, or for professions that come from going through College. Don't think that you cannot make a living in the Trades sector these days, it's not true anymore for the most part. Of course it largely depends on what country you live in, what the economy is currently like in that country and other such factors. For the most part, yes, you can still make a good living in the Trades sector. I'm not quite sure if it falls into the Trades category, but a Chef for example can earn somewhere between $35,000 - $60,000 a year (Again, that depends on where you go to work as well as how experienced you are at being a Chef). Anyway, I'm getting far too talkative about this. The main thing you should keep in mind is that you do have options if College doesn't work out for you. So don't dwell on it too much and just do the best you can for the time being. Like I said, if you give it your best and College just doesn't work for you, there are always other things you can do. Whatever you end up doing though, you should continue with secondary education, whether it's College or Trade School. |

Haha all I did was go to school and now I'm lost again XD Oh well. @ Keiri haha You're in the university right? I'm just a second year high school student so my exams are still going to be nothing compared to yours. However I am sweating the SAT exams because I'm trying to get into a two year boarding school for math and science. They offer Japanese as a language there!!!  |

Wow... I did not expect a whole page to go by. o___o;; @DA~ Honestly, I feel like I'm jipped living in this house though. I have like cousins that are like 30-40 yrs. old and they live at home. Few of them have no job and just have fun everyday, and they don't pay diddly squat. I really wouldn't have to pay anything if it weren't for my mom's boyfriend. It was actually his idea when I hit 18. Told her to start charging me the fee. The man's a hypocrite too. His daughter is living at the house for free and using the home connection. He never charged her anything when she hit 18. =, = Gotta go with a phone plan, and a new phone. I REALLY need a new phone. I'm willing to go at most $50 for the plan. But before I do go start my own plan, I need to finish one of these payments. Either the $5000 that's left or my car payments. Best chance is to get rid of that $5000. :\ lol Well, there is another road I can take. No highway needed. Depending on traffic, it might even be faster, or it could be an extra 5 minutes. Oh, and here, it's illegal to take mopeds onto the highway/freeway anyways. xD Yeah... that situation is just awkward... o_o;; Any chance of finding a new roommate? lol Clear? What do they sell? :o lol DA, I think Kakuu's comment about MH is directed towards me, but he typed your name. xD @Kakuu~ lol Do you remember how to type me name? >x3 You need to be more patient. It was pretty fun though, it's like onii-chan hanging out with someone's sister in anime pretty much, just maybe not as perfect, lol. [@Kakuu] Yeah, but seriously that's a hard cut to get though. You're in a tight predicament. You could move to your aunt's though, right? Same rent or lower, and it's quieter at least, right? You can get a simple flip phone so cheap these days, really having a flashy phone is not important. But yeah that car payment is really putting your back, but look at yourself in maybe the next year, you'll definitely have some money. Really? I guess it's for safety issues, but wow, lol. In Jr. High, the kids in gym would make fun or the vice principals mo-ped, lol. And yeah, I have three friends who are in the same dorm together. Same dorm, ironically two floors right below my exact room. Way before I entered school, I tried to apply to get into their room since their last roomate moved out, but it was too late and they put me in like three others places before getting me where I am now. It's not bad it's just the sex thing and really the loud music that's all. The free internet is hard to pass up though, but when I look at my DSL at home that's faster consistent then up there, I think to myself about getting my own internet (if I can) and hog it to myself. If my one other roomate moves out, I'll take his room and have a room to myself cause I'm the only one that doesn't and isn't fair. I really don't want anyone moving out. One moves out, free room to myself. The other moves out, no internet (or TV, PS3, etc.). Now if my friends two floors down have that other new guy move out, I have to request to move in ASAP to take his spot first before the new quarter. Though if it's within a quarter, it'll be fine plus there's two chances to request a move-out. And being only two floors up, it'll be easy to move stuff down and whatnot, but with internet, I think I'd have to pay (makes sense). I just thought about giving him an IOU every month until I get a job or money, lol. Though honestly anyone moving out by this year might be me. I haven't really liked what the school has shown me and I might not bother wasting my time for the next year. Clear is like this new internet project (not really, they've been round a while) in my city. I live in Philadelphia and it's like a type of internet where you plug in I think, but unlike the ones from Verizon or AT&T, it's apparently supposed to be really fast since it only covers out city, so no matter where you go you'll always have it. It's kind of like a faster wi-fi.
