I highly doubt that sequel seing that the anime went through 60 chapters and there are only 73 chapters right now with 3 extra chapters released as the series settles into a new magazine. Add the fact that this is a monthly series and not a weekly one, even if the anime is released in winter, they would only have about 30 chapters worth of material, which means that the majority of it would end up as filler. My guess is that someone is trying to spread a rumor and nothing more. Even to this day, I still hear rumors of a Berserk and Fruits Basket sequel. |

Well, if there's a Wiki on the date, then it helps the possibility that there will be an sequel. My reasonings behind promoting the idea of a sequel (besides Wiki): ~The three, Miria, Deneve and the other one (I forgot the name >.>;) all did the "We'll meet again." A typical harbinger for a sequel. ~Priscilla is still out there. ~Easely also said, "We'll meet again, Raki." ~Clare still has more techniques to learn. ~Clare keeps getting the "Live On," hallucinations lol ~The manga doesn't need to be finished to portray ideas from the manga-ka. (An example is: Ah!/Oh! My Goddess; The 3 goddesses battle outfits never appeared in the manga yet but the clothes appeared in the movie. Heck, the Manga never got to the movie's point yet.) |

You forgot one thing as well... or, two things. Not all the Claymores made an appearance, especially the top three or so. And one that happened in the last episode, that ORG guy said something about taking care of the ones who didn't die or so. He might've thought Clare awakened, and he knows about Priscilla I suppose. The manga is still active, so it could be a while until a second series could be discussed. I just hope they don't decide to make one and release it too early. Fillers does not belong in Claymore, no way! Still, a movie would be cool. Haven't seen an action movie in a while... (:\ Although a movie might not describe every detail not shown in the anime, that was from the Manga. Just... anything then a one season Claymore series. ------- |

Yeah, I think on Claymore's official website, you can't find out all the Claymores yet. At least the last time I checked. Not sure if anything was added or updated by now. ------- |
Re: Claymore

I dunno...its just weird how the decided tp break off with the manga the way they did. Clare trying hre best to find Raki was teh main point in the manga and now that he's with her i really don't know how they're going to do this. Though if they do i'm really anticipating on seeing Alicia and Beth in action! |
Re: Claymore

Well, that's some ending that pretty much closed any possibility to follow up with the manga... If they intend to make a sequel by following the manga i bet they'll have troubles doing that. If they can't make a sequel, i wouldn't complaint if they make OVAs out of the extra scenes manga. watching Teresa in action in her full potential state is never a bad thing ^^ |

Re: Claymore

@ SkyL Just a bit of trivia info, the Oh My Goddess movie is based on the Wellspur arc of the manga but was slowly modified into what we saw it to be as the production and planning went on and Wellspur slowly became Celestin. The basic ideas from that story arc still remained though. Man, it's about time the 4th ES comes out. I'm hoping that it would be about Riful when she was still a claymore since we already got stories from Luciella and Isley. |

Haha, you knew that too? Yay, oh just a small question, (just private message me this since if you answer on the thread it'll go off topic) do you use Ah! or Oh! ? Anyways, I was using an AMG reference. There's others out there that don't follow the manga either. |

Yeah, the Claymore official site doesn't even have all 'em yet. Cept, I think they have the names down already, who knows. Yeah, Riful never made an appearance after she left. I'd love to see Teresa in an OVA. o^_^o ------- |
Re: Claymore

Ack all 47? Thats close to im possible since the organization keeps sending like half of them or more to their death. They change so much theres just no way of keeping track. top 2 will always be there though until they get killed |

Re: Claymore

Wiki has a list of names for them that has been mentioned in the manga - most of them the ones that Miria mentions during the campaign to the north in Pieta when she split them up into groups. Unlike in the anime, manga Miria actually calls all 24 of them out. So that's 24 out of Clare's time + Elena (Clare's black card friend) + Alicia, Beth, Galatea, Ophelia, Rafaela (top 5) Raquel and Katea (Jeans team mates that Dauph killed) + Eva, Kate and Lucia (the 4-member hunting party) that was first sent and got killed in the North) = 35 known Claymores in Clare's generation. The bigger question for me is what the was really os wrong with Teresa's breasts that an entire gang of horny bandits wouldn't consider hitting that. @SkyL I just say Oh because I am so used to calling it that from way back when Animeigo released the 5 part ova. I heard that it was the author's idea to rename it that at the time as well. |

@Sir Bon whoa.. you have a scary memory XD So 12 unknown, eh? That seems about right.. I'll have to check that official site again to see if they added any more. About your question.. >_< it's hard to say really what was it on Theresa's body that turned off the bandits. Since, they're 1/2 yoma, and Claymores dun look alike when they awaken, the errr.. 'defect' could be anything XD In the manga, what happened after the Pieta arc? After they defeated Rigardo? Someone mentioned that it jumped to '7 years after' Pieta. In that case, if there was a 2nd season, the anime could easily pick up where it left off. Even though it had to detour a bit, but nothing significant really happened in the 'fillers'. Except for Jeane's death.. and Clare meeting Raki again? Hmm..... Perhaps in another year they would have enough material to make a 2nd season. I agree with DA-san.. this anime does not deserve any fillers XD Or maybe they could shorten the 2nd season into 13 episodes. I can live with that XD Can't comment about the ending..I kinda have mixed feelings but it was good nonetheless XD |

If you want to know what is wronf with the anime, just look for my past comments. I made a note on the differences between manga and anime for all 26 eps As for what happens after they killed Rigald, click here |
