Finally, I got a picture, but unfortunitely it's not a drawing or a real picture. I took this one just a few mins ago (because I got a new cell yesterday, and I was just testing out what it's capable of doing).  It took me roughly 3 days in school (3-art classes, and some 9th period study halls also). When I did this, I thought of Saber, of Fate/Stay Night for some reason, idk. Otaku shout-out! 8) It's all made out of construction paper, except for the face, because that is that tan-ish paper that's a little more sturdy then reg. construction paper. I was forced to rush this (from my own E-Art teacher) to finish, and it was the day of the Art Show, so I hurried up everything, used rubber cement and glued it, and that's how it turn out. The white poster that 'Wannabe Saber' is holding *lol* is white drawing paper, feels like construction paper, also! That took me, just a few minutes, nothing to difficult, but I used one of those Caligraphy Ink Pens, that when you drop a drop of ink onto the paper, you'd have to start all over again. I did mess up, but it like made a pile of dots, mistake, but I don't want to call it a a mistake, because it needed more detail, so I just used that, and added more 'mistakes' to even things out. Then I traced it over, with a fat sharpie! *please don't say anything P.S. I'll try to get my real drawings and I have posters of anime and what not, around here somewhere. Ayeca/Izumo, watch out!! lOl, j/k! ¦) !! @Rin, im in 9th Grade now aka Freshman, and I'll be a Sophmore next year. Good luck with your school year *grins. @ deviLs-angeL ehh..?? 9th grade? how oLd are you..? ^^ we have a different system here ehh ^__,^ we usuaLLy end gradeschooL in the 6th grade, and.. we go straight to highschooL :D so, if that were the case,... then: 7th=freshie 8th=sophie 9th=junior 10th=senior right..? ^^ .. ok, this is getting way off topic :D i didn't make anything now.. so anyhoo, that's aLL ^__,^ m y . EVERYONE: I just want to ask... how do you make the outlines/lines in your drawings more visible using Photoshop? I tried... It always turn out the same... ^^ can someone help me? pls?

huh? uh-oh... I deleted it hehehe... only one left thought... the last time I tried... here that's not yet finished... see the bell? its outline is kinda crooked... ^^ (zoom on it okay?) EDIT: I'm going to log-out now... can you just let mee see how you color your images step-by-step? hehehe sorry... but I think that I can learn how to do it faster when I see it... pls? can you help me rin-chan? @maia i usuaLLy trace mine with a drawing pen which makes it easier~ and, when i try it with yours [which is aLready beautifuL BTW..], i get some dusts and scratches.. ^^' but, anyhoo.. sorry, i can't heLp you now... i'm getting reaLLy busy na i'LL have math training tomorrow eh ^^ **sigh, i miss math.. ^^ sorta... m y . @Rin, im 15. Our school system. 9th-Freshman 10th-Sophmore 11th-Junior 12th-Senior where is 11 and 12th grade or do you have it?

all I can say, as DANGEL's advice, just practice and try new and creative things, not alone, being creative as you can. Over time, your work will return a gift of perfection, though nothing is 'perfect' in art or anything. ^_^ I've been drawing since I was very young, and now it's giving me a hope of the future. Did you post a pic, if not, can you post one to share with us. There is nothing bad here on Gendou!

@ Rin... Yeah i agree...photoshop's menus are easier to use. I mostly use Painter cause i love the color wheel...& some of the special menus to add effects. What version's do you use? I don't have the latest ones Photoshop CS & Painter 9. I only have PS 7.0 & Painter 8.0....(sigh) @ Rosette Christopher...^^ I attended VFS (Vancouver Film School)...the animation dept. Completed the full-time course & did other side courses as well (comic book development, perpective, & touch up on my life drawing). Not sure if i can give u any helpful tips. Probably keep things original...show you can draw other thing other than humans (landscape,inanimated objects...etc.)...broaden your horizon by showing you can draw other things. Just try to do your best & have confidence in your abilities...as soon as you second guess yourself problems will occur.Good Luck! @ Lucifer...^^ There are those "How to Draw..." series of books. I think there are over 20 of them....How to draw...Bishonen, Shoujo, pretty gals/guys, perpectives, fight scenes,bodies & anatomy, couples, anime....a whole bunch more. Some are pretty good....some are just common sense...some are useless.  |
