@ Ich-san, Ryoko-san, & Eureka-san Thanks guys....but i'm not going anywhere yet. I still have requests to finish off first. But i do really appreciate you guys caring....i'm just going to take some time off to recharge & fix some personal problems. I'll be back before you guys know it....but again thanks T_T <---- tears of joy. @ Fiel-san You're very very welcome...at first i thought you wanted Emma...i mistook Ren for her....then i remembered what he looked like. I had to watch a few episodes of the first season to remember *my bad*. I haven't seen the 2nd season before so i had no idea what he wore....luckily i had an issue of Newtype that showed him as well as the rest of Emma's assistants...used that as the reference. @ Draconics-san It'll be a good test for me....drawing a character from just a description...i'll ask you if i need more info but for the most part i get the idea from what you gave.  |

@ Mitsukiru your request is now completed!! ^___^!!! Sorry it took so long....*bows*....but i finally finished touching up the drawing you chose. Again hope it is what you wanted....  @ Everybody! ^__^!! You have no idea how it makes me feel with all of your support...i'm feeling better every passing day & my confidence & mood is starting to come back. I still have one more request to complete (Draconic's RP character) which i'm now beginning....after that i'm still going to take some time off to recollect myself. @Izumo:I see you are trying different techniques again. This time the drawing looks a little different than your previous work. I see more contrast in your drawing. I really like it. The folds of the clothing are superb!!! I wish I am as good as you. I think you kept your drawing in the anime style very well. Great job.  |

@ Ben-san Do you really think so that it is a different style? It probably looks that way cause of the black fine liner i've been using for the last couple of drawings. I still use the same methods i've been using for the past 3-4 yrs...the beginning stages with a very light pencil & working from there. I have been using softer lead pencils lately after how well it went on Eureka's Deathnote request. So a little of it was used on the trees & grass...drawing the pic again i messed up when i first drew the pic. The faces for Lumina & Spirius aren't exactly how i wanted them to look. Their faces look kinda "crooked" to me...Spirius looks kinda emotionless T_T. The clothing was probably the hardest part of the pic....did quite abit of erasing to get it looking at least decent. The black liner hid most of the mistakes that i did....which is why i used it in the first place. To be honest i liked the way you did your FMP pic so i kinda copied that pose....^__^. Anyways i thank you again for the comments ....though it wasn't my best effort...hopefully my last requested pic by Draconics will be a better attempt. Speaking of which here's my latest update. Workload Draconics : RP character (pending - 60%) *after this pic....will take my time off...i'm trying to prolong it on purpose...so sorry Draconics for the wait* Finished DAngel - KANON/AIR Rabbit - Dark (D.N Angel)...sort of Ken - Train (black cat) Dusktodawn - Cagalli (gundam Seed) Eureka - Light & L (Deathnote) Fiel - Ren (Jingoku) Mitsukiru - Lumina & Spirius |

I have a question, that somewhat relates to this thread. I would like to know if there was a way to be.. I guess mentored, or kind of advised in drawing. I mean, it'd be great if I could get some help in my drawings, because I'm really bad and stuff. I probably could use the "You draw anime (4th thread)", too. But, I was just wondering.  |

@ Mitukiru-san I kinda get what you're saying. It's a little difficult without hands on teaching which is how i learned as well as self-taught. If you post some of your drawings than maybe we can pick out what you are doing right or doing wrong....just be ready for things you may not like to hear...for the most part most will choose their words carefully. I had some critical & often harsh words directed at my drawings...true...it hurts but you use that to your advantage & try to get better. So like i said...i suggest posting some of your art at the "you draw" thread & there we can help you improve by pointing out any flaws. Don't be shy if your art is "not good"...there is no such thing. All art is good....some people just work hard to get better...if you're willing to do that than like i always say..."you'll suprise even yourself how good you can be." I look forward to seeing what you can do.....& i will (as well as everyone else) try to help you improve. |
