Only 2 more episodes to go & i have no idea what is going to happen.....the only thing i am a little disappointed in is the little character development of the other SSS members. Still even in their short time on the screen the series did a good job showing their character, but more would've been nice. Of course since this is only 13 episodes long i can see why. Maybe a 2nd season may happen if the series ends in a cliffhanger which will absolutely kill me!!!!!!! I would scream "WHY MAEDA-SAN CAN YOU DO THIS TO US!!!! WHY!!!!"  |

It has been a long time since my last post, I have been busy studying a lot and didn't get to watch Angel Beats until I got some free time. First of all I loved ep.4 and the intro that came along with it as well the the hillarios moments in the baseball game was kinda worried that Hinata was going to disappear for a moment. Then I watched ep.5 I was lmaoing when I saw the rocketchairs along with "Brave Song" playing in the replays.(^0^) But then I felt sad for Kanade at the end of the ep. Ep. 7 left me in a nostalgic state when saw Otonashi's memories from when he was alive(Reminded me of Clannad~After Story~ when Tomoya was taking care of Ushio when she was ill)I cried a lot when I heard what happened to his sister only to cry more when I saw ep.9 & 10 when Yui-chan disappeared when Hinata-kun said he will marry her, I'll miss Yui-chan and cuteness and the funny moments she gave in the show.(T-T) (Why does Key know how to make a guy cry nonstop.)

well they have the FINAL ep out how many of ya seen it? well i'm planning to watch it later but anyways...I think it was a good idea that Yui did go ;_; Spoiler after all she might of have fears of fighting those things and become an NPC like Taka. Jezz and i thought he at least put up a fight but i guess it did took him by surprise like it almost did with Ayato oh yea i found a comic strip, I found it kind of cute and funny it's their chibi version XD ...although I should of saved it and copy it ^^;

@ JC-san Actually there is one more episode to go since the 12 episode ended on a cliffhanger (damn i hate those!). Still no idea on what will happen...maybe 'God' will make his/her appearance in the last episode saying all that was happening was a test. Who knows! I pre-ordered the Degeki Gs Festival graphic book for Angel Beats that includes Yurippe body pillow, GirlDeMo keychain, & Angel/Kanade wall tapestry! It will be out sometime in July so i'll snap some photos of the stuff when i get it. For those musical instrument players there will be another 'Keep the Beats' album that will include 13 instrumental tracks along with a 256 page music sheet. I guess this is where we will find the karaoke songs for the GirlDeMo songs....the Answer Song instrumental whenever i hear the song sounds so good! Listen carefully to the music when you hear the song...some kick ASS riffs! Most of these items can be bought at various online stores like amazon & cdjapan. Highly recommend picking these up if you get the chance. |

I love Kanade. That episode 12 had a really good ending. Yurippe gives off that Haruhi vibe so often sometimes, I swear. XD

Still waiting for the arrival of episode 13. Well, I hope that the ending would not be a lame one. Quite a number of things weren't elaborated in the Anime. I just hope that Angel Beats won't be a disappointment.     |

I liked the season, but yeah with these types of anime, it's hard to put anything in 13 episodes. Honestly, it's hard to put almost any anime with a storyline within 13 episodes and do it right. Hmm, can we expect another season? Maybe not. At least GirlsDeMo can be an actual known band.

Okay, ending was good. Pretty elaborative and answers most of my doubts about the anime. Although I believe this Anime would be even better if it was more than 13 episodes long. Not enough screentime for some of the characters. Well, I'd rate this anime a 7/10 . |

the ending was sad. /very/ sad. it was a good anime. it got really intense even in the beginning... caught a lot of attention. I really liked this anime. |

Whew...where to start? I guess by saying Jun Maeda-san & company have done it again! There isn't alot of creators that can pack so much in so little yet still make it worth every second of your time. Sure Angel Beats! could've been helped with maybe at least a 26 ep. timeframe since i agree that some of the characters didn't recieve as much development as the main characters. Maybe if we did know about each one of their faults when they were alive it may have had a less of an impact in the long run. The curiosity about what each of them did was what made us continue watching, maybe, maybe not. When the character did reveal their 'faults' it ended up having them disappear (Iwasawa & Yui). However with only 13 ep. it still delivered on a worthy storyline & intrigue that many other shows fail to do so in a much longer runtime. For me it was the visuals that told the whole story & not just the dialogue. There are quite a few bits that Jun Maeda-san added to spark your curiosity on what was happening or may happen. That alone made this series so good in my eyes. Try watching the series over again & you will see alot more than you hear :D. As for the last episode. It didn't have the same impact as something like AIR but it still delivered in what it was trying to do. The event where Kanade revealed to Otonashi was quite impactful that it took me a second to realize what was happening. Now i didn't see that one coming..... What i really want to post about is how beautiful & great the OST of the series is. Every piece of music from the instrumental to the vocals have been top-notch. It may give my fave of all time 'CLANNAD' a run for its money in the number of high level music. The CLANNAD ost didn't have a single 'weak' song in it & from what i've heard so far for Angel Beats! this is the case as well. I can't wait for the OST to be released on JULY 28th, 2010!!!! Anyways the series may be completed but i won't be suprised if some sort of DVD special or OVA will be made as an aftermath episode. How the characters are doing in their new lives that sort of thing. *UPDATE* I just found out that the last volume of the DVD/Bluray release will be bundled with an unaired anime special. This was the same case with CLANNAD when we had the Tomoyo/Kyou specials. The intrigue on what this special will be will be realized on DECEMBER 22, 2010 when the DVD/Bluray is released. Just in time for Christmas....hint hint...maybe. @ Ken-san Yeah Kud Wafter is out but unfortuantely i can't try it out since my order has yet to arrive. It may be some time for me to get it since i ordered it along with Navel's new game which is a fan disk of 'Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai'. So tell me about it but please don't spoil anything about the game :p *side note* A leak torrent of the 'Keep the Beats' vocal album was released earlier so those who can't wait for the original can try to get there hands on it this way. From what i've heard so far of the album it looks like it will be worth every penny i spent on it. At least now i don't have to 'rip' the CD & keep it in its original case :P |

@ Kelrei-san Okay this is going to be a spoiler so i'm going to post it as such. Like i said it took me a few seconds when i was watching that to realize what was happening. This little twist is one of the many aspects of this anime that i admire so much. Even little things can become quite significant. Who else was watching that earlier episode with Otonashi alive thought that moment was insignificant? See what i mean you see things more than you hear with this anime series. |

@Izumo-san, thats what im wondering about. Spoiler Remember in the first episode, when Otonashi came in the dead world, Kanade was already there and it seems like she is already staying there for a quite long time already. |

This may be a spoiler, if it is i'll change the post. This is what i think happened though. In the last episode Otonashi stated that he shouldn't have been in the world since he felt his life was fulfilled. However it was cause he lost his memories that he forgot all about it which in turn landed him in that world. If he didn't lose his memories this wouldn't been a series at all :P Also i believe a stronger force was involved which was Kanade's desire to 'thank' Otonashi for his gesture. She knew it was him from the very first episode but since Otonashi lost him memories she couldn't tell him. |

@ Izumo-san: I just got mine yesterday so I haven't gone much far with the game, I'm afraid. I'm not really a fan of Kud so I'm not expecting much from the main scenario・・・ (plus, the scenario wasn't written by Maeda-san). Anyways, the new characters seem to be interesting, and and I'm still hoping that other busters would make an appearance later on^^ Ore-tsuba seems to be interesting too. I heard you can get some good laughs from it^^ There goes the final episode of AB. Fisrt, The ending was inevitable, I think. There would have been no future for them, if they've decided to stay in that world. Also, I finally understood why the title was "Angel Beats" (o^_^o) I suppose Key's going to come up with an AB! drama cds to fill us up with other questions unanswered in the anime. Well, I guess 13 episodes were too short for Maeda-san's script (^^;) |

Here are some nice group pics that i thought would be nice to post up. There are more of course but these are some of my faves.        Oh and Ken-san here is one that you may like. You may have this already though :P I'm using it as my current desktop background.  Yeah i really enjoyed the first Oretsuba so i have high hopes for this fan disk 'after story'. From what i hear the Limited DVD releases will have the aforementioned drama CDs so we can hear the filler that probably went on between episodes. I should get the first one probably next week since i ordered the DVDs the same i did for the CLANNAD releases. There is usually something cool packed in with the releases so i can't wait for it. |

The anime was truly great, for sure a pure 10/10. From start to the end, the anime dragged me more into it. The work was great. The characters. The action. The story. Everything was great. Honestly there was not a single bad part in that anime in my point of view. Tho, it really does give you more thought on life then you could ever think of. Not only did it show what everyone wanted to see in an anime. It also gave an important message behind everything else. Most defiantly Angel Beats! deserves another season for their outstanding work! The ending was sad, but, deep down I don't think I couldn't help but feel happy. I really hope they make another season of Angel Beats! with the same characters, not some sad remake that make people hate it. I really don't like endings at all, but as we all know, there is always a start as there is always an end. As much as I really HATE to admit it, it is true, and for once I have to agree with that fact. -_- Lol, I wonder if they are thinking about dubbing the anime? If they are, I'm defiantly going to tryout for one of the voices. ^_^ All an all Angel Beats! most defiantly make the very top of my "Top 10 Anime" list as number 1!    |

Just finished watching the series. A bit late but all is well that ends well and Angel Beats is no exception. At first, the series pulls the "middle of nowhere" trope and launches the viewer in a wtf moment at the beginning; however, later on through the beginning was kind of slow but quickly picked back up and kept on pushing the storyline. Angel Beats is an Anime worth watching. Enough of the review, I have conflicts that need to be resolved about the ending. click here for spoiler/ help skylegendz get the idea D: So yea, help?
