(wooot) Type-moon crossover anime coming up!!! http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2010-11-24/eri-takenashi-take-moon-type-moon-anthologies-get-anime I havent read Takemoon yet though this one looks like it will be a comedy. I hope they adapt Typemoon-X instead(imagine the action \m/) but Im still glad they decided to make a crossover into anime. (woot) |

looks funny. kay since they did the series of fate/stay night and Unlimted blade works i wonder if they're gonna do hollow ataraxia and zero what do ya think?

Sounds interesting, Type-moon has really amazing stuff to make crossovers...About Hollow Ataraxia and Zero, there is the hope that it can get animated, but there's no guarantee that will be soon, also FSN Heaven's Feel is missing...   |

I obtained the Fate/Stay Night movie, haven't seen it yet though. I think Kara no Kyoukai got fully dubbed, cause I think I saw a box set online somewhere on ANN or something a while back. That'd be a sweet box set to pick up, as well as the FMA: Brotherhood box set in the future. If I bring my Macbook down with me when I visit my grandparents this weekend, might as well bring my external HD to watch it.

@ JC-san That is super awesome news for both announcements. The Fate/Zero one more so cause what can i say it's Fate/Zero. It was eventually gonna happen cause why release an entire sound drama CD for all 4 volumes with voice casts for all characters if Typemoon & Nitro weren't gonna do an anime series. Wow Typemoon has a few projects on their hands this year with the release of Mahoyoro coming at the end of this month (hopefully there won't be another delay) & the Kara Bluray box set coming out as well. Unfortunately i won't be able to afford the later cause of a tight budget. @ h4x0r-san If you are getting it please tell me what you think of the set & what extras you recieved with it. About the UBW film, i thought it was decent but could've been so much more. I guess having a more action oriented plot was better for a film release than a more story-driven one. It was good for what it was but for a major Typemoon fan it could be disappointing to an extent. Like the spoilers that h4x0r-san mentioned, oh well. Getting back to the Fate/Zero anime i hope it is more of an OVA rather than an anime series for a few reasons. An OVA release they can keep all the violence that the novel has without censoring too much cause of the new law in Japan. Secondly the animation will be much more crisp instead of trying to remain in budget if it was an anime series. The only downside is the timeframe allowed in an OVA that an anime series has. Something in the way they made the Kara series would be what i personally would like. It will be pretty hard to screw up this series but you never know.  |

@izumo One of the pet theories floating about is they might make one movie/ova per book - 4 books means 4 episodes, which, assuming around an hour or so each, I think they could easily fit all the content in that timeframe without much trouble.

@ h4x0r-san Yeah that is the idea that i am hoping UFO table & Typemoon will decide to do. They did such an awesome job on the Kara movies that i am confident they will do the same with Fate/Zero. They already have a soundtrack for the novels with Itou Kanako & Kazuhiro Watanabe doing the theme songs 'Starlit Faith' & 'Beginning Oath'. Both good songs. I may have to double-check but if i remember the CD dramas were about 3 hours long thanks to the multiple discs except disc 4 which was over 5 hours long spanning 5 discs. Knowing that OVAs may be difficult, if they do decide to go the anime route i just hope they do the story justice....that's all i want. *edit* Yup disc 1-3 have 3 discs (approx.70 mins each) while disc 4 has 5 discs each about an hour long. |

@ h4xor-san I have & read the light novels, my japanese is decent so i understood for the most part the important moments. For the more confusing areas i had my friend translate them for me. I finished the books way before baka-tsuki started translating them, by the time i finished the 3rd book i believe baka-tsuki was in the middle of the 2nd book. I did check the site for stuff that i didn't ask my friend when she was busy though. After all these years don't tell me they haven't completed them yet or have they? I know the books aren't easy to translate cause it is pretty deep but it has been what 4 years since the last book was released. Not to rag on them cause they do a good job, i've read other light novels at baka-tsuki but like i said they should be done by now :P *edit* Oh forgot to mention Happy New Year h4xor-san! I feel this year will be a big year for Typemoon in terms of projects....so far so good. |

Beast's Lair is done with the translation, the only thing is I think Baka-Tsuki just hasn't caught up and compiled them into their finished format or whatever. I do like the touch that some of the BL guys did, compiling them into printable book-form pdfs.

@ h4xor-san I just visited the Fate/Zero website & it looks like the light novels are getting a re-printing with volume 1 already released. I wonder if this new print will have more artwork or any other special things or is it nothing more than a reprint. I do notice that the cover is different.... When Kara was reprinted there were new artwork added to the books, the originals which i have had very little artwork, other than a few colored pics in the front. |

Type/Moon Carnival Phantasm have their official website now @DN yea at 1st when i was on the PSN i saw Fate/Stay Night i was excited but it said "PSP"

Yeah I saw that, too, and was bummed. It sucks, Japan needs to make more of these PS2 games for the PS2, although since Sony announced they'd be making PSP games playable on the PS3, I'm excited for that future. Like, Dissidia on the PS3 already gives me goosebumps. I want F/S series on PS3!!!

Well, they did release Fate/Unlimited Codes in English for the PSP, and if you've got a PSP, the PSP is region free so even that isn't an issue...
