~Assault Frigate, Hawkeye, Armory~ Brandon: *sweatdrops* Thanks... Soldier: Oh, the squad captains are coming! *the door to the armory opens, and various captains walk in to instruct their squads* Nika: *faces F squad and crosses her arms* Alright, as you already know this isnt a drill. Since us and the enemy fleet are evenly matched, we have to go in and push up our odds a little. Brandon: just give us our target! Nika: .... we're still busy trying to take out their FLAK cannons. With those operational, our Transports'll be shot out of the sky* *in space, the Hawkeye maneuvers itself around the enemy vessal, targeting it's special systems with it's laser cannons* Nika: This will be a real Kill or Be Killed battle. If you're not up to it. You can just sit back here for the time being. *behind her, the other squads, rush out* Nika: Otherwise, report to the hangar. You know Sally's (their Troop Ship Operator) Tail Number. GOOS04. Brandon: *stands up* I'm Rarin' to go. *rushes out to the hangar* Ren: We'll make you proud Nika! *rushes out after brandon* Konoe: *appeared to be stifleing on choices* Nika: Uh... Konoe? Konoe: I'm scared. But, I'm not going to hide while Ren and the others are fighting! *rushes out the door after Ren* Nika: *looks at the others* Well?   |

Assault Frigate, Hawkeye, Armory~ Brandon: Then. I'd like to set the slate clean. Ren: What? Brandon: Well, that classic "Tales of the World" Videogame I borrowed from Renma and Sabre. Arguablely the last single original copy worth over several million Dalleons. Well... *pulls out the game disk from his pocket* *silence* Brandon: You see, I kinda scratched it on accident, even though I tried to repair it, it didnt come out all that well. *Reveals the shiny side, scratched up and somewhat globbed over with clear super glue* Ren: *sweatdrops* Uh... maybe it would've been best not to go telling that right now Brandon. saber just stood there in silence saber: well my friend..THANK YOU! i bought some insanely high priced insurance for that game and if the game is accidentally destroyed and taped with super glue, id get twice the price of the game! hahaha those insurance guys think that no one in their right mind will use super glue on a game cartridge, soldering iron maybe but not super glue hahaha saber: now im more pumped up that ever hahaha Brandon: *sweatdrops* Thanks... Then I wont stop you. *nika runs out of the Armory* Nika: *thinking* But... for their own sakes. I dont think... they're ready. ~Assault Frigate, Hawkeye, Hangar~ Brandon: *stops by one of the transport* "Tail Number GOOS04" Ah, here! *a blonde haired pilot jumps off the rear transport drawramp* Sally: Hey yall'! Looks like we're in for a real one this time! Ren: *thinking* Yep. That accent can only be hers. Sally: *leans her left hand on her hip* Kay'! Lets get ready to launch. Oh, by th way, I need a couple ball turrent gunners. One for the two sides of the Transport. Any volunteers? Ren and Konoe: We'll pass. *walk on the transport* Brandon: I'll get the left side. *boards the transport, and enters a cylindrical chamber attatched to the ship, and mans the left gunner turret* Nika: *runs in after them* Sally: Howdy, First Sergant! Nika: Cut the accent already, Sally. Lets board the ship already. Sally: Roger! Nika: *stands on the transport ramp, looking back at the entrance of the hangar, watching other squads rushing to their transports* ~Transport GOOS04~ Ren: *pulls the harness over her* Konoe: .... Sally: *flips the ship to operational, outside, the exhaust ports of the Transport start to glow blue* Hawkeye intercom: All squad transports prepare to scramble. All marines are to report to their assigned transports in the next 2 minutes. Brandon: H-hey. Not everyone in our squad is here! Ren: Did they chicken out? (apologies if I seem to be going fast. Sometimes, I cant be sure if everyone isnt able to post or just want to get the story moving, is all.) |

Sally: Looks like there's already some guys waiting in the hall you'll enter. Nika: Okay, just like drill, Lob a few grenades though the breech door as it opens. Be sure not to throw short. Brandon: Kay', got it. *pulls out a grenade* *as the breech door starts to open* Ren: H-hey. Isnt one of our squad members equipped with a weapon that already launches grenades? saber: looks like that's my cue..*whispering to himself* over here miss*raises hands* saber: locked and ready....lets go! saber points the grenade launcher aiming high and low to sweep the entire area...the grenades explodes and the whole area was covered with smoke and debri... saber then scans the area with his thermal googles... saber: all clear sir! |

Yeah, but, in the end, a small group of dedicated players makes it easier to get the story to move without anyone getting lost in my opinion. ^^ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Renma: Whoa,, Pretty Firecracker You got there Saber... *Renma Point his BA-20 To the left and to the right, Following behind Saber* All Clear... Ren: *runs over to the left sealred door, puts down her TEG, and gets her torch* I'll handle this. Konoe: Ren-chan! Ren: I'll be fine. I got a plan this time. Brandon. Key! Get on either side of me and take a knee, but, watch out for the sparks. Brandon: O-Okay. *goes to Ren's right side, and kneels* Ren: *torches the top 5/8ths of the door* Brandon: Hey, Ren. You think you didnt cut off a part of it? You torch the bottom yet. Ren: That's th plan. *hits the top portion with the butt of her TEG, causing it to fall onto the next hallway* There! *kneels and points her gun into the hallway* Nika: Oh... I see. Instead of cuting the entire door where she leaves herself open to fire, she only cut the top part, leaving the bottom portion to be used as a cover if they try to fire at her... Brandon: Hey! Didnt know you could do this! Nika: *angery pulse* Shut up! Dont think I'm an idiot because I have blue hair! Soldier: *from another hallway leading into the breeched hall* Hay! They torched in! Soldier 2: Squad! Move it! We cant let them in any further! Konoe: Ah! They're coming into this hallway! Nika: Alright, lets lay down the fire when they have a chance to fire back! *three soldiers rush into the breeched hallway* |

I was just startled.... key: "*intercom* second area secure" Brandon: *looking at Konoe* ... key: "*intercom* second area secure" Nika: Oi! Lets get moving! Brandon: Roger. Ren: *helps Konoe up* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nika: Out mission is to take out the port side Lazer turrent battery control unit. And right now, E-Squad is taking care of the turrets on the starboard side. Afterwards, we're to take the bridge of the ship in a combined assault with E and G squads. Brandon: All that? Nika: Well, as much as we can get accomplished before we're all KIA. ~Minutes Later, Near the Port Laser Battery Control Room~ Brandon: *runs into a T Crossing in the hallways, suddenly comes into fire from the left side* Ren: Brandon! Brandon: *runs back into the their part of the hallway* ...Hehe. I guess my armor took a few bullets... Ren: You need a recharge? Brandon: I'm fine, still at sixty- Nika: Brandon! Frag the people that just fired at you! Brandon: G-got it. *pulls out a cylindrical grenade, pulls off the fuse with his teeth, and throws it into the hall* *Boof!* Konoe: *at the back, somewhat in a world of her own* Brandon: *runs into the hallway* All Clear, Looks like the way into the Weapons room is in here. *back with the squad, a metal orb the size of an old fashioned Television Screen gently Taps into Key's leg* Ren: *looks at Key and the Metal orb* Eh...? Hmmmm. Thet looks familiar to... *the image of the "Automated Turret Armed Robotic Defense Hardware Manual" flashes though her mind* Ren: G-geh! |
