from me, i'd definitely recommend it if you enjoy this genre of anime. there are no flaws to this anime, or more like there's nothing in this anime i hate. can't really say something like "i wish the claymores were drawn in a more sexy fashion", but the theme of the anime might not make sense... or would it even matter at all? ^.^; episode 23 is out now. i just dLed the torrent, and i'll add it to my client later tonight or somethin'.

There's flaws alright. Nothing is perfect. In fact, my sister is so analytical, she picked out loop-holes nobody has thought of in Harry Potter -.-' True English Geek I say she is. Immabout to watch 23. I'm so excited  |

the fight is finished but more than 7claymores are alive .wtf raki saw clare at pieta. totally different from the manga. a movie a good idea but midnight anime here at japan rarely have movies.  |

i said "there are no flaws to this anime, or more like there's nothing in this anime i hate." i haven't really heard anyone disliking this anime so far although you know there are some of them out there. we talked about a second season and a movie before, but a game would be really cool.

a second season is better than a movie, a movie is short and a second is long. . .game is cool but in reality 10% they will make a game only a few number of people know claymore. . . |

if there was a second season, you'd need a lot of new info or something. a movie can have new stuff that doesn't need to be made into a series. claymore is not a popular known anime, from my eyes so far. still, a game could be made. not sure if it would be one vs one style like soul caliber though. i was thinking something like some rpg or somethin', i'unno.

I'll dL later tonight. For spoilers, just make the font color black or something if you don't know how to use Gendou.com's spoiler tag. Can Clare control herself after going 99.9% of the way? She's made it past 60, or 70, around there, but right there at 100% is pretty hard to get out.

I'm guessing this season (I'm saying this in the hope that there's a 2nd XD) will end with Clare resolving her issues with Priscilla, since it has been one of the main..err.. thing? (issue?) in the series. But then again, leaving it unresolved would surely mean there would be a 2nd season, no? *I so heart to contradict myself* XD @bl88 since they decided to finish it at 26, i think fillers would be a good idea to wrap up some stuff in the anime, if they followed the manga faithfully, 26 might not be a good place to end.. the manga is going to cont. on after that i think. @DA-san I always thought that the 'limit' for each Claymore was an abstract level/power that they indicate to be 100% and if they surpass this limit, then they would awaken. Hmm..i remember one of the Claymores (i think it was when Theresa was still around) said that at 10% yoma power, their eyes would turn colour and at 20%, their muscles would start to bulge. I could have the figures wrong, though. Btw, both claymore and yoma seem to know when another claymore has supposedly reached her limit and awakened...hmm.. *just some random rambling*

| Theres just gotta be a second season the manga def has enough material for atleast 12 epsisodes by now. Up until recently they were following the manga but then Raki appeared...that really made to sence at all. |

» [bkno] yeah i remember when that was said, too, but not sure when it was said. around the earlier times in the anime, i guess. i think the limit is around 60-70. cause if it was 100, you'd see a lot more claymores near awakened form more often if they can keep a 20-30 distance between that level and 100.

Episode 08 Theresa states that the numbers are 10 (Eye change colors), 30 (face distortion), 50 (body distortion) and 80 (the limit for most claymores b4 awakening) Clare and the 4 others can go beyond 80. In Pieta, she awakened her legs so basically she can independently control sections of her body's yoki concentration. Her legs being 100% awakened. (What about her dominant arm?) Jeanne was able to go back after 100%, remember? |

yeah i never said it was impossible. it also depends on the will power and the "spirit" of the claymore, to pull herself out of the awakening mode. i need to finish my homework now so i can quickly watch it before i eat dinner. i have no idea how they're going to pull this one off. guess that back-up crew (originally the first or so) might not come... i'unno yet anyways. [edit] just saw it now... he fight between clare and rigardo continued. looks like she "???" him in the end, but i can't say for sure yet. that raki kid is really annoying. he's so foolish. now a question that comes up is will easley and priscilla get involved now?

For those speculating about the manga and how loose ends are going to be tied up in the anime with only 3 more episodes... There shouldn't be any spoilers here, except that I want to compare what already happened in the anime as of 23 vs the manga. Basically anything involving Raki past episode 22 isn't in the manga, and scenes were changed for everything involving Raki since 20. They also took out the brief battle that Clare and Flora had to measure flash sword vs windcutter. I've read the manga up through volume 12, and it's really impossible for the anime to pick up with the events following Pieta... it's just not going to happen. The Claymore manga has a very slow release rate (I believe it's one chapter per month), and so they'd probably have to wait two years before they could make a second season to it. Since the anime differs irreversibly from the manga already... it'd be too altered to save anyway. I do hope they come out with that rpg/fighting game you guys are wishing for though. ^_^ It's regretful, but they were forced to deviate from the manga storyline to make a nice dramatic conclusion for the anime. Thankfully, the anime creators have been as true to the manga as possible. I thank them for that and hopefully they'll make the remaining three episodes exciting enough that it won't be a big letdown to all the manga readers (I basically had a heart attack when Raki was heading to Pieta in 20 and Flora's fight was gone). I encourage everyone to read the manga, as this series lost a lot of it awesomeness when it was restricted to 26 episodes. [edit] And just for fun... If you've seen 23, then I think this is what Rigardo's reaction really should have been... Superb?. |
