There's no set date for these types of events since its done when we have spare time. Just follow the thread or rss feed the site do you know when it starts again.

There will be season 8, I think XD I will see if the judges from season 7 are on board, and maybe we can schedule the date with them! :D Just make sure to check the thread as often as you can for news! |

They should be unless there is some rule changing but doubt that will happen for that genre. Just make sure it sounds good.

I personally (and from past experience judging) would not recommend recording a full instrumental song unless you guys record at a studio like place. Or you guys have a high quality non-vocal track to record live vocals over, which is usually the common option at GI. Although quality won't win you the competition alone, the judges are very strict on quality, trust me.

Okay to answer the questions: Pame decides when to hold the next seasons of GI so it's up to her, so whenever she comes back to the forums you'll sense the return of GI and new season. And to anser jewel's question, when GI is in season, there's a special link for it at the navigation bar so right now you can't see it. All the instructions have been explained on the GI thread so search their for some of your answers as well. It's pretty simply really. So people stop asking the same question of "when is the new season of GI??" If you have other questions lemme know.
