@Destiny: Singaporean conscription? Good luck ;w;

[Liel Vanguard]

---Extra Scene---

Liel opened her eyes, and slowly looking around the environment. There is virtually nothing but pitch black, and herself.

"Where am I? Is this the afterlife...?" Liel thought, as she moved on.

Then a figure appeared in front of her. Liel was unable to identify who the figure was while there is a bright light shining on her eyes.

"My little sister." A voice spoke to her, presumably from the figure.

The light was gone, and the figure revealed to be a male warrior, wearing the full set of the finest plated armor issued by Imelda. He had the same silvery hair and lavender eyes, just like Liel has. She immediately recognized the person.

"Brother!" Liel simply ran towards his eldest brother and hugged him.

He simply laughed while ruffling her hair. "Oh, you. I never thought that you missed me that much."

"I'm sorry, Brother... I... failed. I was too weak... I'm not a soldier material to start with..." Liel said, while embracing him.

"Still, this is not the right time for you to be here." The warrior replied.

"But--" He closed her mouth with his left hand.

"Hush. Go back, find the culprit who started the Aigle War and avenge me, if you can."

Liel did not notice the dagger on his right hand until it was too late. He stabbed her. She gasped, and stared at him in shock. Her brother pulled the dagger out from her, and pushed Liel down.

"Until we meet again..."

She fell, and everything surrounds her simply broken into glass pieces...

---Extra Scene End---

[Vermillion Sisterhood Compound - Outside]

The unconscious Liel suddenly coughed blood, and everyone simply looked at her worriedly. She slowly opened her eyes, and looked around. Outdoor environment, the glaring sun. When she found out that Malvin was carrying her, Liel felt embarrassed. And there is Excellen looking at her curiously. Xenkar too. However, she noticed the sour look from Miranda.

"What... happened? And... would you... please kindly... put me... down?" Liel said, in low voice as she could still feel the pain from her injuries.

I'll definitely be back to Gendou and the RP scene, don't worry. And yeah, I'll need that good luck. Σ( ̄ロ ̄lll)
-------------------------------------------------

[Vermillion Sisterhood Compound - Outside]

Excellen watched as Liel coughed up blood, then looked over to the little boy emerging from the crater, and to the sky above them. Occasional birds, clouds, floating islands and the airship, slowly becoming a small speck in the azure sky. The commotion and the exit of the airship definitely would've attracted bandits, petty thieves and the sort. Where would she go now?

Slowly getting up, Excellen stretched silently. She made her way over to Liel, standing next to her, blotting out the sun from her eyes. Excellen's shadowed figure probably would've looked like someone with evil intentions, if Liel didn't know any better. As Malvin spoke up about a town called Magnolia, then about the capital of Lucine, Excellen listened with great care when he reached the point of 'revenge'.

Revenge...are they going to randomly start shooting down airships, full of people whom they don't know, innocent, unaware of what had transpired here?, her mind wandered. It wasn't like it concerned her any bit, since it was a matter of 'how to exact vengeance', not 'why'. For no reason, Excellen poked at Liel's cheek with her finger.

[Vermillion Sisterhood Compound - Outside]
Ryuu listened to the conversation silently, as the old man was bragging on how he used everyone. Ryuu didn't trust him from the beginning, seeing Avrians as enemies, and he wasn't interested in seeing Avira. However, even if it is expected, getting betrayed is of no fun.
Old man: None of you have the knowledge needed to operate technology such as this. You could force your way on, but you would only end up wrecking the ship and killing yourselves in the process.
Silent until now, Ryuu laughed, as if the old man said something extremely ridiculous. However, he didn't explain why he laughed, so noone paid much attention to it. When the old man left, Ryuu finally talked.
Ryuu: Cannot operate? Technology?
Ryuu laughed once again, and continued his speech.
Ryuu: Who does this old man thinks he's speaking to? I'm Ryuu Akumu-sama! There's no way I cannot operate that primitive of a technology. Excellen most likely can too. Those guys are so pathetic, I can't even get angry at them for betraying us. What energy source do they use I wonder? Steam? Crystals? Yeah, most likely some kind of energy crystals. And I'm not sure if they understand how they work or can replicate them.
Ryuu turned around to the Ezio.
Ryuu: So, you're with us I guess? I won't question your reasons, as I can think of hundreds of them, most probable is - I can see that you're a good guy, and a good guy won't tolerate betrayal. So, welcome aboard again.
He looked at Malvin, as he was suggesting them to go back to Lucine's capital.

Ryuu: So, Malvin-sempai... If we're returning to the princess, I suggest we think of what to write in a report. Did we achieve anything on this journey? The only thing I can think of is seeing Avrian technology with our own eyes. We can avoid making our return public of course and rest at my or your house.

P.S. I might add a character pair soon, as I didn't get much of a chance to use them when I introduced them in Limbo on the Borderlands.

@Massacre - Go for it. More than enough room for more characters as far as I'm concerned.

[Vermillion Sisterhood Compound - Outside]

Miranda was holding Ezio up in front of her by the back of his shirt as Malvin suggested that they head for Lucine's capital city. Miranda was instantly opposed to that idea, but kept a firm hold on Ezio while voicing her opinion.

"Whoa there KISA*. Getting to a nearby town sounds like a good plan, but there's no way I'm setting foot in Selene, especially if it means meeting Princess Poverty. Besides, aren't you getting ahead of yourself? After we get to town and sort out that payment that the munchkin promised us then our merry band is dissolved."

Ezio waved his arms slightly as he slowly rotated from left to right in Miranda's clutch.

"Actually, I want to talk to you about that stuff. That's sort of why I'm here and not there."

Miranda put her finger over Ezio's mouth to quiet him.

"Shh. We'll get to you in a minute. *looking back at the others* Listen, Xen can patch Liel up a bit and she can get some rest in town while we sort everything out. That's the only plan we should have for now."

* - KISA (Another one of Miranda's random pet names. Stands for Knight In Shining Armor).

[Malvinder Leonheart][Vermillion Sisterhood Compound - Outside]

"Hold on, What happened to her?" said Xenkar in an anxious tone. "I may not look like a doctor, but I used to specialize in healing magic during my services within the Dadaeolos military.Give me ten minutes, she should be fine afterwards."

Malvin immediately but gently put her down and beckoned Xenkar over. He gave Xenkar the same diagnosis the he informed the others earlier, "She's got a hell of a bruise on her cheek and I don't know if anything is broken. Her left arm is definitely broken or at the very least bruised and cracked. The Darren she was fighting also hit her hard in the chest. I did not have enough time to examine her properly but from what I saw after she was coughing blood at minimum she has cracked ribs. At worse, her organs might have been ruptured by the blow and she would be having internal bleeding."

As he spoke Liel suddenly woke up, "What... happened? And... would you... please kindly... put me... down?"

Malvin gave a chuckle of relief as he did so, "Of course. Just to let you know, Liel. Compound collapsing, you unconscious, I couldn't leave you to die. Now, Xenkar's gonna heal you."

Eventually Ryuu came over and spoke to him,

Ryuu: "So, Malvin-sempai... If we're returning to the princess, I suggest we think of what to write in a report. Did we achieve anything on this journey? The only thing I can think of is seeing Avrian technology with our own eyes. We can avoid making our return public of course and rest at my or your house."

Malvin rolled his eyes at the man and spoke sarcastically, "We several things actually. I learned that even a paid vacation can suddenly turn into something else, I learned that merc women like to bite other people like overgrown spiders, and I learned to shoot the next Avarian I see first and talk later. I'll give the report as usual."

meanwhile, Miranda was opposed to the idea as she spoke to Malvin, "Whoa there KISA*."

'KISA,' sweat drop's Malvin.

"Getting to a nearby town sounds like a good plan, but there's no way I'm setting foot in Selene, especially if it means meeting Princess Poverty. Besides, aren't you getting ahead of yourself? After we get to town and sort out that payment that the munchkin promised us then our merry band is dissolved."

Malvin had a tic on his eye at her words, "Miranda, you'd do well not to insult Princess Luna in my presence. Yes, our country is experiencing monetary problems but we are doing our best you know. Do you know how much our people believe in her? They have given their trust in her and the rest of the army now and we are doing our damned best you know."

Luckily Ezio managed to change the topic before it could get worse.

"Actually, I want to talk to you about that stuff. That's sort of why I'm here and not there."

However, it seemed that Miranda was determined to start something with him as she shushed Ezio.

"Shh. We'll get to you in a minute. *looking back at the others* Listen, Xen can patch Liel up a bit and she can get some rest in town while we sort everything out. That's the only plan we should have for now."

Malvin scowled at the woman, "Have it your way. I simply offered the best hospitality our country can give. If you want to spit in our faces in reply so be it."

Well with only 19 hours behind my back, I have no idea what to do with Excellen. For starters, I'll just leave it up to Jon, hah.
-------------------------
[Vermillion Sisterhood Compound - Outside]

A light gust of wind, as Excellen looked up into the sky.

"Time's up...", she mumbled to herself, without any profound meanings in her words. Turning her head sideways to listen to the others decide on a course of action that would keep everyone alive, with slight conflicts and harsh words within. Watching as Ryuu burst into confident laughter, claiming his, and Excellen's probable ability to operate Avirian technology.

"That...could be true. The fundamentals...simply press every button, pull every lever and flick every switch until something explodes..."

While thinking of that sentence, Excellen looked down to her Revolving Stake. "Every button, lever and switch..." Excellen swung out the Stake's cylinder, extracting all of the explosive cartridges one by one. One by one, she dropped them into the front of her arm shield. "Unloaded...", Excellen thought to herself. She then listened to Miranda and the two Lucine guys. Things seemed to be a bit rough around the edges. In that moment, under the pale blue sky, Excellen made a wish. "I hope everything goes well. As a famous person once said..." However her last words, spoken out verbally, didn't seem to fit what she wished.

"Shit happens."

I just wanted to post to let everyone know that I will be posting soon (hopefully as soon as I get home tomorrow).

I sort of have a new plan for the RP and it's going to require a pretty hefty post (although it's mostly RP explanation on my part). I've been caught up trying to get into Tales of Graces F after 4 days of working at night, and I also have to tele-file my taxes >.>, so I've been kind of busy.

Oh, I'll also be taking over Destiny's character from now on. Not sure how I'm going to make use of her though, but I'll think of something.

[Liel Vanguard]
[Vermillion Sisterhood Compound - Outside]

Excellen blocked the sunlight from Liel, giving her a shade. She felt relieved. After hearing Liel's plea, Malvin put her down and explained what happened.

"Of course. Just to let you know, Liel. Compound collapsing, you unconscious, I couldn't leave you to die. Now, Xenkar's gonna heal you."

"I know that part but---"

Excellen poked her cheek and interrupted her. Liel winced, before asking her to stop.

"Ow, that hurts! But it seems that your fingers are cold..." she said.

Then she remembered what Malvin said about Xenkar.

"Wait, Xenkar's... healing? I don't think it'll heal any typical stabbing wounds, let alone my severe injury..."

After a deep breath, she continued.

"Oh well... better than nothing, right?"

Then, Malvin and Miranda argued about the idea going to Lucine.

"I guess our Avirian boss just ditched us..."

Ryuu also mentioned about staying in his house, the operation of Avirian technology. As for Liel, she thought about following Miranda. Then again, with her current condition, it is impossible to do so.

Then a gust of wind blew past them, and Excellen moved away. She stared at her weapon and ejected all the cartridges inside it. Then Excellen said something that everyone did not expect from her.

"Sh** happens."

Liel simply chuckled.

"Well said. Excellen... was it?"

Then she changed her attention to the others.

"As for me... I... don't mind going to Lucine, but just... make sure I don't get robbed..."

@All - So like I said, I had a good train of thought going for the story and I may go in a new direction than originally planned. As you can probably gather from the plot outline on page one, the story was supposed to focus more on the Aigle's Gale Guild and hunting for ruins/artifacts related to the Avirian's. The new plot still loosely revolves that, but I'm going to put a bit more focus on some of the country's and Avira itself while introducing a central antagonist of sorts.

We'll see how this all pans out, but I will warn everyone that the transition from the current plot track to the new plot track will probably be a little rough. I don't have a whole lot to work with at the moment that can help change the direction. Once we really get into the new plot style however, things should go more smoothly.

[Vermillion Sisterhood Compound - Outside]

Miranda rolled her eyes at Malvin's comments.

"I don't recall trust of the country's people being required to assassinate somebody. I think you're getting the meanings of 'election' and 'military coup' mixed up."

Excellen pressed her finger against Miranda's rear end and caused her to drop Ezio. She whipped around and slapped Excellen across the face, not knowing who it was that was touching her.

"Ooh, sorry about that, natural reaction. Don't make a habit of doing that."

Miranda was shaking her hand in the air a bit, a little surprised by how hard parts of Excellen's face were. Excellen herself seemed unfazed, proceeding to carry on with what she was going to say.

"We have to leave. Getting late."

Ezio had landed on his feet and was now tugging on Miranda's pants.

"She's right. I still wanna talk with everybody."

He then looked to Ryuu upon hearing his comment on reporting their findings.

"I could tell you guys some stuff about Avirian. . .tek-nol-o-gy. I know all kinds of stuff, so I can tell you about it to repay everyone."

Miranda sighed and picked Ezio up and then placing him on Excellen's shoulders.

"Alright, alright, let's just go then. We'll go to that Magnolia place and stitch Liel up, hear what Ezio has to say, then figure out who is going where to prevent us from ripping eachother's throat out."

The group made their way towards their new destination, the town of Magnolia. It seemed as though the group's alliance was just about over, but they would soon find out that their recent actions would spiral into an event that would force them together for much longer than anticipated.

(Nothing much for me to post, so I'll just introduce my new characters for now. Dunno when they'll appear though, probably meet somewhere at the town or on the way. Their profiles are basically almost copies of what I used in Roxas' Limbo, as they are the same. Some, who played Eien no Aselia may recognize them. As Ryuu can travel between worlds freely, he tends to recruit people he meets as his retainers. Though for them over 80 years has passed since the events of Eien, so their personalities might be a bit different)

Name: Blackspirit Helion
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Nationality: Lucine
Weapon: Katana, named "Despair" (This sword had its own will in past, but now it's just a katana)
Abilities:
Iai - A katana quick-draw style.
Wing Halo - Helion can fly, though for a short period, mostly similar to a long jump. When she does, she has two white feathered wings.
Iron Maiden - A fast attack magic that hits distant enemy with a spear of darkness. Barely does any real damage, but weakens opponent for several minutes, similar to a poison.
Appearance:

Personality: Timid, polite
Bio: She, along with Halion are mercenaries, working under Ryuu as members of his squad (They are not official soldiers, unlike him, so his squad is still empty officially). They appear to have known him from before he joined Lucine military.

Name: Greenspirit Halion
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Nationality: Lucine
Weapon: A broad spear (Something that looks like a double-sided glaive, or reminds a sharpened oar), named "Oak" (Same as "Despair", this spear had will in past, but not anymore)
Abilities:
Spear - Sonic Strike - Series of quick thrusts with a spear.
Shield Halo - Devoted Block - Halion can cover herself and up to two of her allies with a protective barrier. While she does, all attacks to her allies exaust Halion, but do no damage to allies. However, while she does, she cannot use any other skills. Also, as this skill is effective against physical attacks, it's extremely weak against magic.
Shield Halo - Cure - Halion can heal herself and up to two allies at once. Her healing can recover non-fatal wounds to nothing and reduce fatal wounds to non-fatal ones. However, after she uses it, she cannot use Shield Halo skills before she rests. (Around 1 hour of non-battle) Also, whenever she uses Shield Halo, she has white wings, similar to Helion's.
Appearance:

Personality: Air-headed(She speaks in a bit slow, but mature voice), polite, accepting.
Bio: Same as Helion. They are sworn sisters, so Helion calls her Onee-chan.

Huh, guess the ball is in my court now. I'll be basing the town's design on Limbo on the Borderline and the residents as well (human ones).

[Malvinder Leonheart]

It took the party close to an entire day before the managed to finally arrive at the town of Magnolia.

[Magnolia Town - Main Gates][Noon]

As the party reached the main gates, they were halted by a few guards. Malvin quickly dealt with the necessary arrangements while also informing them that a professional healer would be required to give the party a once over.

Malvin: "Not that I doubt you, Xenkar. But even you have to admit, you are more of a field healer. It would be better to get a true healer to give us a once over just to male sure there are not adverse long tern effects."

The guards came back but were a bit nervous as they spoke to Malvin.

Guard 1: "Pardon us, you lordship. But the Captain would like that you be escorted to the mayor's home. It is standard procedure..."

Malvin waved him off: "Acceptable. It is good to see security as tight as the last time I visited."

Guard 2: "Well sir, here are your escorts."

The party was then approached by three men although with 2 of them you could not tell their gender easily. Malvin walked forwards as they approached and shook hand with a man in a black cloak and his entire body is mostly covered in bandages, he wears a black bandana with a silver forehead protector and a green mask to cover his bottom half of his face.

Malvin: "Major, it has been a long time. *gestures to the party* Everyone this is Major Mystogan, a good soldier of the kingdom and trusted colleague."

Mystogan: "At your service."

Malvin then looked at the second man who was wearing a molted green cloak giving him the appearance of a bush that had grown legs and was walking around. The quiver of arrows on his back denoted his weapon as he gave a quick wave.

Malvin: "Knew it. That's why you three decided to come. How long ago did you spot us, Will?"

Will: "Halfway through the forest you passed."

Malvin gestured to the man in leaf green: "Allow me to introduce Master Scout, Captain Will Treaty."

Will to the party: "A pleasure."

Malvin then looked at the third man and raised an eyebrow. He then walked up and clasped the man's shoulders. He was a very tall and muscular blond man with blue-grey eyes. His hair is slicked back, its numerous spiky strands pointing backwards, though some of it falls down on his forehead. He has a distinctive lightning bolt-shaped scar on his right eye, wearing a large, black coat with gray, spiky fur trimming around the neck and the sleeves’ edges, draped over his shoulders like a cape.

Malvin: "Laxus, it has been too long. How have you been?"

The man grunted out something similar to "Fine"

Malvin: "Eloquent as ever I see. And I heard that your recently made Captain as well. Congratulations."

Laxus: "Thanks."

Malvin: "So you three are our escorts, right? Well we might as well get a moving."

The party plus 3 walked through the town attracting attention due to the state of everyone. The three tag-alongs chatted pleasantly to the members of the party (or in Laxus's case, grunted). They were pleased to see Ryuu as well knowing him from previous missions assigned together.

Finally they reached a massive house that was facing both the town and the ocean.

The sheer ridiculousness of the place made jaws drop but Malvin was completely unfazed.

Malvin shakes head: "She never changes..."

Laxus: "You said it..."

Laxus walked up and opened the door then lead them to a large dining room where a petite woman with platinum blond hair was drinking tea.

Laxus: "Granny, there are here."

The woman gave a soft smile and gestured everyone to sit.

"Thank you, Laxus. Now I hear that you all have quite the tale to tell me. Sit, rest. Have some tea, a healer is on his way to have a look at you all. So tell me, what brings you to the home of Mavis Vermilion, Mayor of Magnolia Town?"

@Roxas: Heh, it appears in contrast to my wandering character, you have a wandering town and Snake has a wandering battleship :)
(But... man, this RP is slow... Well, Jon needs to think of a plot, so I guess we're just stalling randomly for now, until we have some clear actions)

[Magnolia Town]
As the party entered the town, Ryuu smirked and mumbled to himself.
Ryuu: It's fun how this town exists in this reality as well... I guess I'll see some familiar faces today.
As everyone else went towards the mayor's house, Ryuu stopped and looked at two girls doing the shopping: a brown-haired one and a green-haired one. Finally, green-haired one noticed him.
Girl: See? I told you he'll eventually appear here.
The brown-haired one stopped observing the fruit stand and turned at the same direction, noticing Ryuu as well.
Other girl: Whoa! I didn't actually expect that. H, hello, Ryuu-sama.
Ryuu smirked again and approached the two.
Ryuu: Well then, it appears you are not this world's versions of yourself after all. So, any explanations?
The green-haired girl smiled a gentle and carefree smile.
Girl: We've come to assist Ryuu-sama. Your sister decided it might be a good idea and you might be lonely. Are you?
She now had a questionable look on her face.
Ryuu: Don't believe anything nee-san says... but I guess I could really use some company. Okay, while here you're my subordinates, mercenaries, hired to assist me... and of course, old friends of mine. We should hurry up, or I'll completely lose sight of the party I'm with. Though I know where the mayor's house is.
Helion: Is mayor?..
Ryuu: Yup, most likely Mavis again. But this Mavis never met us, so don't forget that. Not to mention, she's of higher rank than I am. You do know the story here?
Halion: Yes. Up until you left by ship from Lucine.
Ryuu: Okay, I'll explain later then, for now it's introductions.
Ryuu and the girls quickly caught up to the others. As they did, Ryuu explained why he disappeared earlier to others.
Ryuu: Sorry, I kinda met my friends and if you don't mind, they'll tag along. Let me introduce them. The green-haired girl is Halion Greenspirit and the brown-haired girl is Helion Blackspirit. Their surnames are more of titles, so don't worry if you find them unusual. Oh, I see Will and the others are here too.
Chatting with the others, Ryuu soon reached mayor's house. As they entered, first thing they saw was Mavis drinking tea. Ryuu mumbled to himself again (he has a habit of talking to himself sometimes in a way so nobody hears him)
Ryuu: This young old lady never ceases to amuse me.

Nyahahaha, first bookout from the army.
------------------------------------------

[Magnolia Town - Outside the Mayor's house]

Not entering the house due to the sheer weight of her armor, Excellen slowly stepped off the path, and onto the grassy side, proceeding to place herself down on the ground somewhat roughly as Ezio would hold onto Excellen's head to prevent himself from falling off. Excellen's cratering footsteps were traced from way out of town, all the way to the mayor's house. Excellen wasn't really listening to Ryuu either, daydreaming all the way from the compound to Magnolia.

Excellen slowly stroked a flower with her armored right hand, making sure not to stab the flower with the Stake. Excellen could've had an exhausted expression, one of apathy or melancholy, even a mix of all three, but Excellen said nothing but continued with her silent gentleness to the flower, still caked with blood and dirt.

[Liel Vanguard]
[Lucine - Magnolia Town]

The group made their way to the border town Magnolia that Malvin mentioned. They arrived at the city within a day. It was a lively town with a decent scenery view to boot, just like any outskirts. Liel however, was still too injured to enjoy sightseeing though. With the authority of Malvin, they managed to pass through the main gate, and placed a request for an experienced healer.

"This is sure some nice-looking town... sadly I was not in the condition though..." Liel thought to herself, while limping along with the party.

Soon, 3 distinctive looking soldiers, presumably high ranked officers, escorted the party into a large, wealthy mansion.

"Wow... I thought the country was having a slow economic recovery?" She looked at the mansion, surprised.

On the other side, Ryuu, caught up with the party with 2 girls. He explained why he moved away from the group, before introducing his followers. After that, everyone entered the mansion. Excellen however, stood outside.

[Magnolia Town - Mayor's House]

Inside the mansion, a butler lead the group into a large dining room, where the glamorous owner is, enjoying her tea. She smiled, before gesturing everyone to take a seat.

"Thank you, Laxus. Now I hear that you all have quite the tale to tell me. Sit, rest. Have some tea, a healer is on his way to have a look at you all. So tell me, what brings you to the home of Mavis Vermilion, Mayor of Magnolia Town?"

Liel coughed a bit, before she spoke.

"I... appreciate for the... warm welcome..."

"But I'm glad that I managed to hold out until today..."

OOC: Wow, I completely forgot about Fenris's character. I'm going to burrow him for just a short sentence. I'll also be introducing my 2nd character who will join the party in this post. I'll post her details as well.

Also, what are we going to do about those characters belonging to those like Haseo and Fenris who have dropped out?

Finally, now would be a good time for John and Snake to collaborate to somehow introduce Snake's characters (maybe snake is transporting us somewhere like I did for Immortal Machina?)

[Malvinder Leonheart][Lucine - Magnolia Town - Mavis Vermilion's Home]

Ryuu: "This young old lady never ceases to amuse me."

In less then a second, Ryuu found himself planted into the ground but no one gave the indicating that they even moved. However, Malvin knew who was responsible...

Mavis smiled sweetly at the downed Ryuu: "A lady does not like having her age paraded around in public, Captain. You of all people should know that, and yes I know 'what' you are. Don't worry, my lips are sealed."

Malvin was a bit confused by the mayor, 'What he is? He is just a normal buffoon isn't he?'

Mavis: "It has been a while, General Leonheart."

Malvin nodded at his fellow general: "It has, General Vermilion. Since the last meeting in Selene."

Mavis: "Please call me Mavis, that goes for all of you."

Liel coughed a bit, before she spoke, "I... appreciate for the... warm welcome..."

Mavis frowned and got up to slowly help Liel into a fluffy armchair. She then took a cup of soothing tea and placed it into the girl's hands.

Mavis: "Drink, child. It will help while we wait for the healer."

She then threw Malvin a look that said, "Speak, or feel my wrath."

Malvin gulped and preceded to spill his guts. Starting from his 'vacation' in Imelda, to meeting up with Ezio and everyone in the party, getting into a brawl with the Sapphire Star Mercenary Group, to meeting Alaric and his crew, the trip to Usha, being attached by Jillian's Spinnerets, to Miranda and her crew's arrival and subsequent victory...

At the part where he described the arrival of the Avarian's Mavis eyes widened slightly and Malvin caught hers with a silent look that she will get an unedited version later. His description of the attack on the Vermilion Sisterhood Compound hidden so close to Magnolia startled Mavis.

Of course the other members standing around also threw in their two cents at parts where he could not continue like when they separated in the Compound and they met Excellen.

Malvin took over once again and described his fight with Jillian and their fight with Darrens' as well as the near collapse of the compound. Both Malvin and Mavis spotted scowls as he described the Avarians betrayal of them and leaving them to die.

When he was finally done, Mavis sat in contemplation. Suddenly they heard an knock and Mystogan left to deal with it. He came back with a slim and tall elderly woman with pink hair, tied in a bun on the back of her head by two large pins with crescent moon-shaped edges, and with two bangs of hair left framing her face. She has got reddish eyes, and a beauty mark located below her mouth, on the left side of her face.

Her attire consists of a dark green blouse with a tie around the collar, paired with a long matching skirt and simple shoes. Over this, she sports a crimson-colored cape, with a wide collar decorated by massive dragon horn-like decorations protruding outwards, and edges adorned by white, arch-like motifs.

Mystogan: "Head Healer Porlyusica has arrived, my lady."

The stern woman swept past them into the room where her eyes immediately fell on Liel. She clucked disapprovingly and leaned down to examine her. Out of the corner of her eyes she caught Malvin's and spoke to him.

Porlyusica: "You. I would have hoped that you would stop getting into danger on purpose but this time you dragged others in as well? Have your remaining senses left you, Leonheart?"

Malvin gave a bow from his chair to the woman and spoke: "Healer Porlyusica, it has been quite some time. I am afraid that the party that I am with *gives a fond smile to his party* is too stubborn for me to drag anywhere. I wish to apologize for angering you and humbly request that you help our injured."

Porlyusica scoffed at him and then turned her eyes to Liel. She spoke but this time her comments were directed to the room at large.

Porlyusica: "This one has been through the mill. But I can see some signs of basic combat healing. One of your party has healing abilities?"

Malvin: "Yes, it was Xenkar, milady."

Porlyusica: "Hmm, a good enough job I suppose."

Alaric who was standing nearby leaned down and whispered into Malvin's ear,

Alaric: "Why are you showing her so much respect? Is she higher ranked then you?"

Malvin: "No. On the war council, Lady Porlyusica's rank is below me, however she is probably Lucine's best healer. Even I dare not belittle the woman who has saved countless lives in our country. I hold that much respect for her."

Porlyusica snapped at them: "Enough yip-yaping. Stand back, I'll have this one fixed up in a few minutes. Laxus! My student is coming with some potions, go and wait by the door!"

Laxus grumbled as he complied leaving the room. Porlyusica then raised her hand and it was covered in blue light. The light then enveloped Liel. Slowly but surely, her woulds began to heal, even those internally.

After a while, Porlyusica moved her arm and the light stopped. She allowed Liel to examine herself before speaking,

Porlyusica: "That was one of my abilities, Spring Wind. I've healed most of the damage to your body. However, my treatment is not done yet. Now-"

They were interrupted when someone short ran into the room with arms full for bottles. The person tripped and with a surprised squeak fell. Only Malvin's quick reactions prevented the bottles from breaking as he caught them all. However, the the person crashed onto the floor face first.

Porlyusica sighed as she saw this and shook her head: "Sigh, Wendy..."

The person got up and was revealed to be a an undeniably cute and pretty little girl with long, dark blue hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a loose fitting, bare-back green dress and sandals with wing designs.

Porlyusica: "Sigh, let me introduce you, this is my student, Wendy Marvell."

The girl dusted herself off and spoke softly: "N-nice to meet you everyone..my name is Wendy...M-master, I'm so sorry! I nearly dropped the potions!"

The poor girl started to tear up as she asked for forgiveness as Porlyusica spoke, "It is fine Wendy. At least this fool of a took is good for something after all!"

As Porlyusica pointed to Malvin who was now stacking the potions on a table Wendy gave a cry of delight and ran to him. To everyone's shock, she threw her hands around his waist and hugged his happily.

Wendy: "Niiiiii-san!"

Malvin further shocked everyone when he went down on one knee and gave Wendy a tight hug. He then smiled warmly as he released her and spoke to her joyful face,

Malvin: "Wendy, it does my heart good to see you well. I missed you."

While the scene was unfolding, Porlyusica practically ignored them as if this was a daily occurrence and walked to her potions. She took several and walked back to Liel.

Porlyusica: "Now as I was saying, your body will still be slightly weak so I am prescribing some potions to help. Bone strengthening, pepper up, pain relief, and a nutrient potion."

She then looked at Xenkar, beckoned him over and handed him Liel's potions, "Make sure she takes them at least 2 times a day with food, for the nutrient one at least 3 times. You can stop the pain relief when she no longer feels pains, the pepper up wont be needed after about a week or so. Keep the rest going until they finish."

OOC: Well, here is my second character who will join the party in my next post (AFTER JOHN POSTS!)

Note: Wendy is not Malvin's REAL sister. It will be explained better in the next post.

Name: Wendy Marvell

Age: 12

Gender: Female

Nationality: Lucine

Weapon: Unknown.

Abilities/Attacks: Wend has only 2 known abilities so far.

a)Sky Dragon Slayer - A hyper rare type of ability, Dragon Slayers were said to use their powers to fight dragons in legends. According to Malvin it is a type of magic so rare its found in less then 0.5% of Aigle's population. As a Sky Dragon Slayer, Wendy posses the ability to manipulate air. Her Magic allows her to heal people from the most serious of injuries, even those caused by a dragon, allowing her to use even a kiss to heal other people and can even counteract other Magic. Her Magic also deals support effect, such as increasing attack and speed.

She can 'eat' air to regenerate wounds and replenish lost energy. However the quality of the air affects her regeneration and in polluted areas may even worsen her body. Her ability also allows her to sense air currents and she can use it to predict the weather.

Wendy's healing is at an extremely powerful level and even able to nullify the effects of powerful poisons. However, employing such exclusive powers seems to be very tiring for the user, who can’t make use of them in consecutive reprises.

Wendy does posses offensive spells taking the form of whirlwinds but according to Malvin she lacks the training and experience to use them effectively.

b)Expert Medical Specialist - Being the student of a Master Healer like Porlyusica for at least 6 years, Wendy her self has reach journeyman level in healing. By employing special medicines, which she extracts from herbs, and with her knowledge of the human body, Wendy increases her ability to heal people.

Appearance:

Personality: Wendy has a very shy and polite personality. She is very eager to try and make friends. Wendy also cares greatly for Malvinder Leonheart and Porlyusica. Wendy is becoming more confident and brave as time goes on, and she always tries to be of help wherever she can. She also is intelligent and has a very honest personality, is "direct and open with her emotions", and is easily swayed by people around her. However, this also causes her to be "very romantic". She can be spontaneous and "slightly ditzy" as well as a bit clumsy.

Bio: Wendy Marvell was found in a forest closed to the cursed former capital city of Lucina, Hala. She was rescued by Malvinder Leonheart who discovered that she had no knowledge of her past and only remembered her name. He brought her to Magnolia and then adopted her. however, at the time the rebellion was going on so he left her in the care of Master Healer Porlyusica. Once things calmed down he visited her often but left her in Porlyusica's care she the healer had decided to take her on as a student.

Malvin and Wendy still maintain a very close relationship and visit each other quite often.

@Roxas: I believe I said Ryuu "mumbled" and even mentioned that "noone can hear him". Noone includes Mavis too. But oh well.

[Lucine - Magnolia Town]
After getting knocked down, Ryuu stood up as if nothing happened. He wasn't surprised by what happened and, even though he saw that coming, didn't resist getting knocked down, after all, he did insult a lady, even though she was not meant to hear that. When Malvin started telling the tale, Ryuu listened to the beginning as well, as he joined half-way. The girls that were with him also did, as Malvin explained the situation to them in Ryuu's stead. Appearance of Malvin's sister didn't surprise Ryuu, as he heard of her before and even met her once, though briefly.
Ryuu: Well then, I'm kinda tired, so I'll go get some rest. Wake me up when we're departing.
Saying that, Ryuu left the house. Instead of getting the rest IN the house, Ryuu climbed its roof and laid down there. He found sleeping outside as something he should be used to, in case of distant travels, so when the weather was good and warm, he tends to sleep on roofs and trees. Helion and Halion excused themselves and left, as they were staying in the inn already and had their belongings there.

@Destiny - So does that mean that you're in this again now? Or is it just a temporary reprieve?

@Snake - This post is your chance to jump in, if you are still waiting. The man that Ezio is referring to would be your character. You can just have him pop in and explain himself that way.

Once again, as stated in the RP'ers United thread, the group will not be staying in Lucine for very long. Keep that in mind.

Also, I'll be gone for the next few days. I may not get another good chance to post until Sunday or Thursday.

[Magnolia Town - Mayor's House]

Miranda was generally uninterested in everything going on around her. She wasn't particularly fond of Lucine in general. The country was essentially falling apart, but it was nearly impossible to tell from the way that the upper class still lived. She let everyone focus on patching Liel up and turned her attention to Ezio once again. She put her hand up to stop Excellen and turned her towards herself so that she could look Ezio in the eye.

"Alright munchkin. Time for you to explain why you didn't go with your own people. We nearly got killed just trying to get kids like you out of that place."

Ezio didn't flinch, obviously expecting the question to pop up.

"It's because I want to go to Imelda."

Miranda crossed her arms and leaned back against the wall, a little dumbfounded.

"Are you under the impression that you're on vacation or something? You escaped from some slave camp, nearly got recaptured by her cronies, and now you just want to wander back to Imelda on a whim?"

Ezio looked away for a moment before thinking of an answer.

"But I kinda dropped the payment I promised you all. It must be back in that town where everyone found me."

Miranda sighed heavily and covered her face with her hand.

"And what did you plan to do if we refused to go with you? You've got no way off of the ground and no way to get to Imelda yourself to bribe some other ragtag band of travelers."

Ezio smiled and crossed his arms in a manner similar to Miranda's.

"I already thought of that. I asked some other people to come with me in case I couldn't find anyone else and offered them some stuff. So now you've got to come along."

OOC: Wendy's profile wil be updated now. ALso I heard that Icarael's asking for a slot as wel'???

@Snake - Nice to finally see you here, Snake. I learned how to make hide tags from John.

[Malvinder Leonheart][Lucine - Magnolia Town - Mavis Vermilion's Home]

When Ryuu went outside to sleep of all things, Malvin was tempted so much to string his ass but decided not to as even he admitted to being a little tired from the journey.

'Still, he is a bum.'

Malvin did not know weather to laugh or to dropkick Ezio for his little blackmail attempt. For once he and Miranda were of one mind as they both covered their faces at the same time.

Malvin: "Ezio...you are quite lucky that I like you or I would have you in the stocks for something like this. You want to go to Imelda of all places...That country is a fortress. I don't know about the rest of you but even alone I got in by 50% luck 40% stubbornness 5% miracle and 5% skill. Not to mention plenty of use of my illusions through I nearly got caught near the town of Berlon by someone who could detect me through my illusions."

Mavis who was watching Ezio with a smile then spoke: "And now you want to sneak a large party into a country ruled by one of the most paranoid fools on the continent."

Will who was nearby snorted at Mavis's words: "A paranoid fool he may be, but Oswell is still a king with command of the largest armies in Aigle."

Laxus: "That just makes him even more of an idiot."

Porlyusica who was nearby had a contemplative look then spoke to Wendy: "Wendy, pack your things. You will accompany them."

While Wendy had a joyful look Malvin shot Porlyusica a look of cold fury. He then spoke in a voice that could freeze a man solid.

Malvin: "Accompany WHO exactly, Porlyusica?"

Porlyusica was completely unaffected by the venom in his voice and made sure he knew it from her cool look.

Porlyusica: "Are you hard of hearing now, Leonheart? She will accompany you and your party."

Malvin snarled at her: "We have not decided on anything yet!"

Porlyusica snorted at him: "I know the look in your eyes. You already decided to follow that boy, anyone who follows would be welcomed but you already planned to go alone if you had to."

Malvin: "Exactly, me. Have you lost your mind you old bat! Wendy is still young and you want me to drag her off on something like this?"

Laxus muttered to Mystogan: "What happened to all that respect he was preaching about earlier?."

Porlyusica meanwhile spoke coldly back to him: "Silence. 6 years ago, you brought this young girl to my home and begged me to take her in. I agreed on the condition that she would be my responsibility. Now as both her guardian and craftmaster, I am ordering her to follow your party. Wendy has immense potential but needs experience."

Wendy: "Ni-san...you dont want me to come?"

Malvin looked like a man heading to the gallows as he looked at Wendy's heartbroken face. He bent down to her and spoke softly,

Malvin: "It's not that I don't want you to come Wendy...I would love to have you join us...but like any sibling I am afraid...I don't want you to get hurt. Look at us, we are all experienced fighters but we came back looking like we just went through a war. Some of us nearly did not make it."

Porlyusica's look softened as she came forwards and put a hand on his shoulder.

Porlyusica: "You cant protect them forever. Look at the boy you are traveling with. He is younger then her and had already seen countless horrors. And you yourself, how old were you when you first killed? Tell me, how would you feel if Wendy was called to battle tomorrow and killed because she was not used to fighting and froze up? I want her to follow you so that this wont happen. You also wont let anything happen to her."

Malvin finally stood up and gave a deep sigh. "Damned if I do, damned if I don't. Fine then, Wendy you may come."

Wendy gave a squeal of joy and hugged him while thanking him repeatedly. He then spun her around to face the others and spoke,

Malvin: "Why don't you introduce yourself to them. Ezio is about your age so you might get along best with him."

Wendy gave a curtsy and bright smile as she spoke brightly to the party members,

Wendy: "It is nice to meet you all, my name is Wendy Marvell."

Malvin put a hand on her head and patted her hair: "Six Years ago, I found Wendy abandoned and crying in the woods close to Hala. She could not remember anything except her name so I rescued her. I brought her to Magnolia and adopted her. Since there was a lot of things going on at the time, mainly the rebellion, I transferred her guardianship to Porlyusica. Since things calmed down I visit Wendy often but let her stay with Porlyusica as the she has become her student in healing."

Wendy: "U-um, I may not be much of a fighter but I can help too..."

Malvin "Show a bit of confidence, Wendy. Like she said, Wendy is not a direct combat type of fighter like us. She specializes in support and healing but is in possession of an extremely powerful and rare ability."

"Dragon Slaying Magic..." muttered Porlyusica.

Malvin nodded gravely: "As she said, Wendy posses Dragon Slaying Magic, a hyper rare type of magic found in less then 0.5% of Aigle's population. It's a type of ability that as the name implies was originally used for slaying dragons in legend. Each dragon slayer uses their form of magic, just like each dragon is a master of their own element. Wendy here posses Sky Dragon Slaying Magic."

Porlyusica: "Basically, her Magic allows her to heal people from the most serious of injuries, even those that cause great damage, allowing her to use even a kiss to heal other people and can even counteract other abilities. Her Magic also deals support effect, such as increasing attack and speed."

Malvin: "Wendy does posses some offensive abilities but she is still young and untrained."

Just then they were interrupted by two loud shouts,

"OOI~~!MOSHI MOSH!ANYONE AT HOME???"

"HEEEYYY~~!ANYONE HOME HERE???"

With a quick nod from Mavis, Mystogan left to investigate. When he returned, he brought back some rather peculiar looking characters...

Malvin raised a single eyebrow as he looked at them and spoke to Ezio, "I assume that this was the man you 'offered some stuff' to follow you, Ezio? I admit is unexpected to see you here, how have you been, former Lucine legendary general as well as my comrade in arms, Hiryu 'Raiden Reaper' Valentine?"

@Roxas: Yeah, from the RP Club.

[Liel Vanguard]
[Magnolia Town - Mayor's House]

Liel did not paid much attention to the surroundings around her, but she did feel a thud to the ground, presumably something has fell on the ground. The Mayor soon ushered her to a chair with a cup of tea. Liel took a sip from the porcelain cup, before putting it on the dining table. Later, Malvinder began to report everything about the journey the group has taken, from meeting Ezio to the ship and then the Vermillion compound.

"Thinking back, that's one hell of an action scene we did back then..."

By the time Malvin was done with his storytelling, the head healer was arrived and introduced herself. After checking on Liel's injury and a scold to Malvin plus a couple of conversations from the others, the healer started her job. She raised her hand, which was then covered in a bluish glow. Liel received the healing aura emitted from the healer.

She could felt the injuries within her began to meld and heal. Minutes later, it was done. Liel raised her previously broken left arm, and took a few clenches. The healer mentioned about her healing ability, and about a subsequent treatment, as Liel stretched her body.

The conversation was interrupted when a short figure ran into the room with hands filled with bottles, who soon tripped and fell to the wooden floor. The bottles of potions was saved, thanks to Malvin. The short figure was revealed to be a little girl.

"She should be more careful..."

The healer soon returned to Liel afterwards.

"Now as I was saying, your body will still be slightly weak so I am prescribing some potions to help. Bone strengthening, pepper up, pain relief, and a nutrient potion."

"Wow, now that's a lot of potions to take! I think skipping won't hurt..." Says Liel with a worried face.

After that, Ryuu and his companions decided to retire for the day, and left the house. With Liel's injuries been taken care of, everyone in the party, especially Miranda, faced Ezio for the reason why he did not follow the Avirians. Miranda questioned the boy, and Ezio replied that he want to return to Imelda, without any hesitation.

"What?! Are you kidding me?!" Liel said with a mixture of surprise and anger.

Malvin and Miranda facepalmed, while Ezio looked away, finding a suitable answer.

"But I kinda dropped the payment I promised you all. It must be back in that town where everyone found me."

Liel frowned, and stared at Ezio with a bad intent.

"Really huh? I wonder how could you 'drop' a large sum of payment..."

She agreed with Miranda's reply to Ezio as well. The Avirian boy crossed his arms, and smiled, saying that he has hired another man to assist him going back to Imelda.

"I wonder what did you offer..."

Then Malvin started saying that getting into Imelda is difficult and all. Liel chuckled at his comment.

"You know, you're looking at an Imelda citizen here..."

Polyusica, the head healer who just patched up Liel, said that Malvin should bring the little girl who just tripped on her feet, and is also a student from the healer. After an argument, the Lucine officer agreed. The girl introduced herself as Wendy Marvell, with her bright disposition. The ex-guardsman closed her eyes and sighed, before facing to Miranda.

"Looks like we have to work even more harder in case there's another skirmish."

Based on what Malvinder and Polyusica said, Wendy can be a good supporting character when it comes to a battle. Liel, however was a bit skeptical. Before she could comment, someone shouted outside the Mayor's house. One of the Lucine officers gone outside, and soon returned with 3 persons.

"I assume that this was the man you 'offered some stuff' to follow you, Ezio?" Said Malvinder to the Avirian boy, before he faced the man, saying that he is some former Lucine general.

Liel kept quiet though, and observes the situation before she says anything else.
