hummm...for some reason, what Lady Maia did, just copied off of a picture, for some reason I can't do that but picture the person or w.e. in my mind then draw it out in a different position, that's like even harder, lol..I always push myself in art and try new ideas to get better...

wah! another one! lolz... really? sorry! I never watched Sakura Wars! but don't you think they look alike? blonde hair, blue dress and blue eyes? she's like nakago! AND there's the (I think) violet hair near her... So I think it was the girl that likes Nakago beside her! sorry again... my mistake! kill me now if you want! lolz.

idk its weird, my friends doit all the time and im like, what? 'til I asked them what it meant and they told me, lol! im just getting tired, its like 1.44 am monday!..I got a perfect pic for a newcommer, hehe..

@ lady maia....again very impressive....the detail on the clothing is stunning! Heh...u really do like Sakura :)

Anyways this will be my last post of my drawings cuz i REALLY need to get crackin on actually coloring them.....(sigh)....Alrighty! Hope you enjoy my latest pics....one is of Yuri from my story (4 years in the making) & the other is fanart for one of the games i have...(ahem...yes those games ^^...some know what i mean!).

WAI~! those drawings are great izumo! you're really talented^^... and the shadings too! I can see the lines on the face of the second one~! hehehe... so does that mean you draw the circle and the lines first to make the face or do you do it step by step?

Why THANK YOU very very much lady maia....^^...it means alot to me to know that people think it's good. I feel i can still improve (COLORING!!!!!!!!) & that i'm a looooong way from turning pro.

Black & White are my specialties....shading makes a drawing look more alive...however i try not to over do it.

Heh...yes i'm kinda old school, mostly cause when i took art classes that is what you must do...over & over& over again....nowadays i still tend to draw the circle at times but mostly i do step by step (why do i feel a New kids on the block moment.....O_o?)....anyways again THANK YOU for the kind words. Even though i won't be postin pics in awhile i'll still reply to other drawings if they want my take.

wonderful! i think 'black & white', 'shading' do not only make it look more alive, but classic! simple, yet appealing.

galing talaga mga noypi! bilib naman na ko na di un traces, pero kahit na manual ganda pa rin, kuhang-kuha! kyut-kyut nila sakura! hehehe, ung sa sakura wars, lam ko maria, 2nd thought ko si kurapika sa hxh kasi blond tapos bluish suit & all, then may ka-angsty mukha.
kanina sa axn pala kanuod ko. lol, off-topic na, sorry.

basta galing-galing nyo! post pa kayo dito para pagmalaki mga noypi galingin sa drawing! ;)

wow, this thread is alive and kickin' again.^__^

hmmm.. this might be late, but about the question in how do we start our drawings, i start with the eyes, i don't know why. and yeah step by step.

i work with lei8iel on that manga, hehe... i'm the writer. most of the contributors can draw as well. and yeah, it's just a hobby but we're all serious about it.

@izumo: i like your drawings. i can't draw whole body, because i shade (using pencil) too much i get tired of drawing the whole body. i can't color too, and yeah lei's good at it and so is amano. i don't color mine because always, i ruin them. i'm better with pencils.

@selene: muntik na'kong magtagalog talaga akala ko pinoy thread to. hehe... magaling ka kayang mag-drawing.

@lei: wowww... dami mong fans dito tapos sasabihin mo hindi ka magaling. ^___^ basta ung character ko sa manga natin ha?! baguhin mo na ung drawing. ayoko naka-pants. hehe... gusto ko ung puruntong short na lagpas tuhod.
