It's totally lame the Mag beta ended. There's a private one for people who pre-ordered the game, but that's totally lame. The Mag game was totally addicting, but yeah I barely played it. I already ordered N:NS (N:UNS) and I can't wait to play it. Omg, saw some finishers from the PS2 Accel games, omfg, the second game for N:NS that comes out this Fall, it's going to be FRIGGIN' AMAZING!!!

I KNOW It's going to be AWESOME. And the best part is it's going to have online play, so all of us who're getting it can play, unlike with the first :[ I heard it was also going to have 4-player :0 Shame about the MAG beta ending :( Fortunately I have it preordered 8D Edit: Just had a thought. Are there any Demos you guys want to play? They're free and all of us can join in! Not sure which are out that have online, and servers that are still up. Is LostPlanet2's demo still going? Anyone know if Army of Two: The 40th Days demo is online? Or anyone know any others?  |

@Maiku - Army of Two Demo is still up, I don't think they shut off servers for those kind of Demo's. I'd love to have a go at the Lost Planet 2 Demo with you and Ray (and anyone else who wants to join). I've played it through with my friend like 5 times, but it would still be pretty enjoyable. Let me get back to you on Friday. I get paid on Friday, so I may be willing to pick up Unch2 if you guys still want a 3rd person. Does Unch2 really support 3 player co-op? I could have sworn it was 2 only. I had planned on putting down 30 dollars on Heavy Rain and Star Ocean, but I could always hold off the 30 dollars on Heavy Rain since that one is still a month and a half away.    |

yea it is 3 player co-op. i remember playing it in the beta. its really fun. its your choice if you want to get it but if you do im pretty sure you will enjoy it. ill check to see if the lp2 demo is still up, which it should, and i will dL it if you want to try it out

Well then the only question I have left to ask is, were I to get U2 this Friday, how much longer would you guys be willing to play it co-operatively? From the sounds of it you've gotten pretty far, and while I would love to join you guys, I don't want to get the game and have 1 or 2 games with you before it's done and you guys get bored of it. ^^; No offense. I do want Uncharted 2 of course, no doubt about that. |

@Jonathon Yeah, both Survival and Co-op are 3 players =) But don't let us pressure you into buying it if you think you'd enjoy other games more. I know you enjoy single player experiences, and Unch2's campaign is stellar. And I, at the very least, think the co-op and survival modes have a lot of replay value (the most fun any three people can have is on crushing difficulty in co-operative play. The satisfaction of struggling through anything that difficult, and hopefully ending up successful, is a real bonding experience :]) And I can't believe I forgot about Heavy Rain! Is that really only a month and a half away? I played through the Lost Planet 2 demo probably near a hundred times (not really, but I did play it daily for a week or so), and am downloading it as we speak. You guys want to play it sometime tomorrow? Tonight a friend and I are going to do a run through the spec-ops in MW2 so I'll be unavailable, but anytime tomorrow between 6:45 and 9:00 Gendou time should be great. Maybe we could do it on the earlier side...I know Jonathon at least is in a different(later)timezone. And it's four players. So if anyone else wants to jump in on the fun...? Edit: Lol you posted before I finished mine. I for one am not even remotely tired of Unch2's mp! Yesterday was some of the most fun I've had with a multiplayer match in some time, and we barely touched the surface of what it has to offer. After all, we didn't manage to beat any of the co-op campaign levels, and we only got through like 6 of 10 rounds on ONE of the survival levels. And I know my brother has been playing solely survival mode since the game came out, and he is still playing. I don't know if the same applies for Ray, but I could play Unch2 for a long time to come =) |

@Maiku - I know Uncharted 2 is a really great game, I very much enjoyed the first game, and I wouldn't have any regrets in buying it. I just don't know if I want to buy it this soon, since I have other games to get/pay off, but if it's up to 3 players and you guys are willing to let me join in then I wouldn't mind picking it up. Tomorrow sounds fine. I have an appointment at the college tomorrow, but it's early in the morning, so I should have plenty of time to get home and download/install LP2. Don't worry about me being in a later timezone. If I don't have anywhere to go the following day (such as tomorrow night, since I'm off work until Saturday or Sunday) then I can be up until 2 or 3 in the morning. |

I was debating deleting that paragraph, thinking it may have seemed a little standoffish, but I liked the paragraph :] It made me want to play more xP And what timezone are you? I know it was like 3ish for you when we finished KZ2, right? We'll discuss tomorrow maybe as to what time suits everyone best. Looking forward to some Lost Planet 2 =) |

[@Maiku] Yeah, online's going to be sweet, so many people are going to be like no'lives with it though. XD But seriously, it's going to be so awesome. Looking at it now, the first game N:NS is actually a pretty good game. We think different story wise cause this was way back before the Shippuuden-arcs began, and the new game will cover (my guess) the first part of Shippuuden. Depending on when the manga ends, I'm strongly thinking Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 will eventually have another game after that. Unlike the Accell games that are constantly updating and whatnot, the UNS series will intelligently spread it out, I hope anyways. Yeah not sure about the four player thing. That'll be really interesting though. I can't wait to see like a trailer or teaser on it though, it's going to be insane. Have you seen Naruto's ultimate jutsus in the other games? Especially the Kyuubi ones? OMFG! One, two, and four tails!!! Dark Void demo was kind of fun, the demo was horribly short though.

@Maiku - I'm in NST, which is a weird time zone because it's an hour and a half ahead of Eastern Time (4 and a half hours ahead of Gendou Time I believe). It was 2am when I called it quits last night, but I had to work today, so I went to bed a bit early. @DA- Any chance you could get in on this LP2 Demo run we're planning? |

@da I never heard any reviews, or anything at all, about N:UNS once it came out. I personally played it a TON. Its hella beautiful, and the Ultimate Jutsus are just spectacular. I really want to see what everyone's Ultimate Jutsu will be, now that they're Shippuden and have a little bit extra firepower at their disposal. As for the story of the game, I wonder if it will hit on the same segments the new(ish) Wii one (Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3) did? I think that one just covered up to the fight with deidera (Naruto's, not Sasuke's). I hope it'll cover more than just that: Sasuke didn't even appear in that game's story mode, and Sai didn't make an appearance until the very end. I have the Dark Void demo downloaded, but haven't taken the opportunity to give it a go. Edit: @Jonathon: 2am is not early. Just saying. Let me rephrase that. It's not early for ME. |

[@Jon] LP2 demo? Sure, PS3 or XBox? Maybe, I have off tomorrow. I'm basically spending the night at my friend's dorm (still using their internet while ours is down), so maybe! I'll see if I can dL it and check it out. [@Maiku] Yeah but like those other games release like quicker. Storm's more of like a long-term thing, and obviously it's being released in the Fall this year, so there's going to be a ton of time for them to decide how far to go. More Akatsuki fighters are going to be in it, and Itachi's definitely going to have a much larger moveset. I mean in the pre-Shippuuden time skip, he made an appearance literally like twice. Sasuke gets pwned by him first here when we see him come back, but yeah like he's so strong in the game already, I can only imagine how much STRONGER he'll be in Storm 2. Like I just can't wait to play it, I might be addicted, hopefully I don't like skip school, lol. But yeah youtube like Naruto Accel or something ultimate jutsus. There's one with five parts explaining them in the second and third game. Once you see some of these specials, omg you'll flip out like I did. There's this neat jetpack you use in the Dark Void demo or whatever, but when you first have to use it, I totally died like three times cause it didn't tell me how to steer, so have fun with that, rofl. :P

@DA- Would be PS3. Hopefully if you and Ray are able then we'll be able to have a full 4-person team. Only downside to that being that it will probably be really easy and quick since the difficulty doesn't appear to scale based on number of players. |

Yeah I'll see if I'll be able to dL it. I'll play it myself first before joining in. :P Oh, and since I'm on my friends's PS3, no mic. My roomate has one but I'd prefer to not use his mic, but we don't have internet right now anyways, so I wouldn't even be able to dL the demo. But yeah, I'll dL it a bit later after my other friend (same apt) is done playing XBox.

ok, i just dled the co-op demo a few minutes ago so count me in and hopefully my daughter wont fuss too much so i can play. my gf will be working tonight so it will be just me and her tonight. EDIT: guys we should have a gendou gamers club banner. i have some ideas. since we all have our different consoles and different games. we should make it something like the claim thread. where someone has their favorite character as thier gendou gamers club banner. i will try to make one as an example later on if you dont know what im talking about

I dLed it last night and played it, holy hell. I'm not the best at shooting games in general to be honest, but I had fun/a hard time playing it at first. The controls at first were confusing me and some I didn't understand. After playing it a few times and even the online co-op with other online players, I finally got it. That last boss is pretty brutal. I can imagine playing with crazy amount of people online. Is there a limit to the online play? I know the most I played with was like six in total last night. I also had a game with everyone from Japan apparently. XD But yeah, I was up all night, slept at my friend's dorm, here now still, not sure if I'll play the PS3 tonight. I have double class tomorrow (one AM, and afternoon), but yeah no biggy maybe a shower, dinner, I'll probably come back down to play. I'll be online. I don't live on Gendou.com's time, I live in the Eastern time zone, so whatever Gendou.com's time is, I'm three hours ahead (e.g. 1 PM Gendou Time = 4 PM my time). Also anybody have Fat Princess? For some reason my trophy list is like, depleted... When I was even playing my character wasn't even his regular character design and lost some trophies apparently. I'm not even sure if you can party play on Fat Princess, but yeah I think I'm about to try to get more trophies with games. And yeah, ugh, sucks so bad the Mag beta ended. Oh yeah Ray, not sure if you added me up yet on PSN. In case not, mines "xakxDA".

@DA I just finished watching all the Ougis for Accel 2, and you were right. They were unbelievable! I have to look for the ones for Accel 3. I really hope the American N:UNS2 can top these in terms of pure awesomeness, and I also hope that UNS2 gets so far as these. I mean, Accel2 had what (who, rather)was in NWii3, so you're probably right: N:UNS2 will go much further in terms of story/characters. Also, I have Fat Princess, but I have to re-download it to my Ps3. And you said you lost FP trophies? I have to check mine D: Also: for whoever is going to be available tonight for some LP2, does 6:45 Gendou time (9:45 for DA) work for you guys? That'll give Jonathon a chance to get back and me a chance to eat dinner. Or is there another time that would suit you guys better? |
