@Eon Whoa....love story + fantasy.... This will fit for a dating sim ^___^ It will be better if this is not a fantasy. Based on the background, this will fit better if it's just a love story. @key Ahaha...yep, you're right. So we have the same genre preference ^___^ Visual Novel isn't same as Dating Sim so it's okay to create a VN that focused on fantasy or action.... @darky I suggest using Renpy. I've tried this engine and i must say that this one is pretty good ! Even i (an amateur) can build a simple Visual Novel using that engine. @ICH Well...i have one, the title is Doubutsu no Monogatari (Tales of Animals). THis story basically is about a normal girl (human) who due to some reason must move into a small town in Japan, Mizuumimachi. In that town she will go to school at Tsubaki High School located at the center of the town. And due to some reason too, she have to stay at an apartment full of half-beasts (btw, in this story, half-beast are common and living together with humans). This is the beginning of her life at that apartment, where she will find friends, rivals and even the one she love..... I'm planning to put some romance, action, drama and comedy in this story concept.... If you interested i'll post the rest (complete concept+chapters ^___^) as soon as i complete the translation....but it's not a story that have deep or complex plot... Oh, btw, these are the characters :  From left to right : Mizuho(mermaid), Tammy(rabbit), Shin(cat), Aya Sakurako(human), Mia(cat), Hayate(eagle) and Kurosawa(dog).   |

@Red Sounds like Angel Tales to me XDD But the difference is.. this one.. It's not a Harem Romance comedy XDD While in Angel tales,, It's a Harem XDD Anyway.. Nice story plot XD  |

@ich and renma yeah,I will fix the story,however I have substituted all of the fantasy items and events with realistic environments.. :D even if the story will be similar as other VN.. I think I will post it tomorrow,with the pict of characters nice club card..however I didn't have more spaces for my sig D: @red nice idea about beast life XD @key you have to wait :) I'm trying to expand the story @darky I will add more depression events :D |

@ich: I just remembered.. aside from the cgs and whatnot there is still a part of a VN not addressed.. the music and bgm~ maybe we can use ones from other VN cause we're making a free VN.. uhh.. @eon: don't overload~ just the right amount XD but don't make the character look helpless because I am a fan of Key and TypeMoon stories and I don't want a weakling protagonist @Red: I'll check it out.. but looks promising ^^ I'll canvas more on the engines..

@key: my main reason for reading VNs are the story and the multiple ending it can contain.. so lots of there would choices~ (hard to maintain but will bring more depth of simulation in the story) --------- (I will post this at my last post of the day, daily) CGing Status: Cging: Eon's Work 62% (Finished with the girl now for the male one.. have some problems in deciding on colors and how to present the details gah;) Re-Cging: Status: 12% (Doing Bangs lineart of character)

@Darky I didnt thought that VN is quite troublemaking though xP well lets just make it this way, since no one here knows how to make FLASH programs or the other way, for the meantime we can just use a template size card that will be inserted in the story [I'll make a sample later] im not sure that if we use such programs, we may not finish the novel were doing...its kinda hectic if other programs will be used. Or in other terms, if other members wanted to use the FLASH style Novel then we have no choice but to use it. Im not that good in FLASH [Aside from animating using CS2 Photoshop] @RED hmmm...seems like we have the story now so for the meantime, Doubutsu No Monogatari will be the second xP Bout the card, you dont have to put it in your sig xP im using it as replacement to the members section xP

@Darky yup but for the meantime, I want to show something, you did pull some trigger in my mind xP @Rastya fix that one xP but its ok ^^ btw guys, ill be assigning ranks at this club now. Those who are inactive will be ranked as Part timers / VIP for active, ranks will be given. and also for the CG Novel?! most active persons were only be chosen to participate. @renma Ehehe...we should create a VN that will fit to all age (at last 13+).....no ecchi stuff :P @kuraide Ohoho thanks....this idea basically begin with a sketch i did in class... @darky Yup just try it. Recommended ! @Ich That's okay ^___^ We should begin with simple story... Anyway...using flash is not a good idea for an VN i think. I suggest using renpy...i've tried that engine and it's a simple engine yet it's powerful enough and it's support some programming language such as C++.... @ras No problem.....just take it easy.... |

@ICH Well...i do...but not much. I still can't do complex programming like creating stats and creating events that based on some stats...i can only do simple stuff like multiple choice of events...putting an image and music....animating the image a little... Anyway...when you install renpy, you will get a basic tutorial. SO basically, you dont have to master some complicated programming language to use this engine. |
