Wow very twisted ending, I'm glad what had happened happened, the background music made it even better. Would anyone know the song title or artist of the song that was playing in the background from when Sekai stabbed makoto?

To Zaxs: The background song is "Kanashimi no Mukou e", sung by Kanako Itou. It's currently on the request list on Gendou's music page, go vote for it. The last episode was quite intense. Whole lotta sh*t went down and the ending was certainly something I didn't expect. Moreover, it was an amalgamation of many different theories that is sure to please and stun many viewers, casual and dedicated alike. To Izumo: There was a mis-translation in that scene you mentioned. Makoto actually said "Sekai...", not "Thank goodness..." when Sekai was in the middle of her stabbing frenzy. And, yes, I felt the message from Sekai to Makoto was powerful. Very cryptic and a fitting way for Sekai to end it with Makoto, since the cell phone plays such a major part in this entire series.

I wonder where Koto went off with, sailing off in the seas with... "the remains." That part was really freaky. Hmm, so after the last episode took place, everyone just went on with their daily lives?

Yes, basically. Shows how little of an existence we all really are. Some people mourned for a little while, but in the end, we are forgotten as time passes. Welcome to the real world. Anyways, since everyone should have seen the last episode... Highlight to read if you've seen the last episode... That IS Makoto's head in that bag. I rewatched the episode just to make sure I saw Koto just hugging the head. Oh, btw, that's one Nice Boat Koto has there. |

That was his alright. Again, freaky and nearly psychopathic in a sense or two. The anime was weird though, ending to the last episode. I was like you finally saw the last episode, and then... you shrug. It was like "well... that's it" or something. That's how I felt. (:\

this one definitely one of my favorites, i thought this just another doujin anime like shuffle, but the storyline is quite amazing and the ending is like higurashi no nakukoro ni. damn i love this anime so much....(and the game xD)

@ [æ„›]Ito -san There are alot of subs for the series out....if you're not too picky about subs any group will do. You can always get the sub ver. from Sheep's anime episodes at the top. Any bittorrent site has subs...just do a search for ones you prefer. @ TapMasterC-san Yeah....you're right...at first it was difficult to make out....yet i still have to check if that is what he said in the game as well.  |

» [[愛]Ito]] This anime doesn't really have a flashy sub group doing the works here. Or more like I haven't seen one yet... Near the beginning of the series for me, I tried a bunch of sub groups. I've probably have used everyone one so far. I just used "m.3.3.w" or something. Nothing special and whatnot, but they got the job done, plain and simple. They were usually the first group to sub the episodes, so I got impatient and check them out.

@Izumo, Haha I deleted school days game off my computer b/c I was doing my semi-annual computer cleaning. But I think Makoto was saying something like sorry, I love you still blah. But my Japanese was horrible at the time so I don't know XD. Why not watch the youtube of it and find out that way? |

Finally, just finished with the final episode of School Days(so I won't read replies from two weeks ago yet). I had a feeling of both saw and knife scene will appear, but it was way beyond expectation. Kotonoha lived, but permanently scarred, hugging Makoto's head while drifting on the yatch. After a while, days in school were back to normal, with Makoto saying a few things in the background and finally, the last shot of his phone on the bench where the three of them were always together. Comparing the game and the anime's ending, the ending for the anime is much more violent and gory, and somewhat satisfying yet dissatisfying at the same time... I really like the background music, Kanashimi no Mukou he (Towards the other side of sadness) nearing the ending (for those who didn't know, it's also the song for the bad ends in the game), kinda suit the scenes, but I think the ending theme spoiled that feeling... After seeing the last episode, it gave me this feeling of Sekai being the one at fault for causing that guy to go astray (the scenes of where the masked people did their acting), but hey, it's finally over. Well, we all have learned a valuable lesson after watching School Days now didn't we? |

I still think that Makoto is at fault and is to blame for the mess. There were so many chances that he could've prevented the ending from happening. Too many. It makes me disgusted that my own gender loses their rationality when things go towards sex or in general, girls, women, breasts and butts. Sigh. I don't want to talk about it. Bad experiences... |

Yeah. The blood is of course red and the scenes with Makoto getting stabbed are continuous with no flashbacks from what I’ve read. This version was just as good though and better than waiting until February/March of next year to see it.  |

XD) I suppose that we all know that most stations in Japan didn't air the last episode of School Days due to a girl killing her dad with an ax in Kyoto? Anyone wondered what the clips are?Wonder no more... |
