Ummm anyone see those volume 1 DVD specials? I mean....WOW!!...the first one wasn't too 'out there' but GEEZ the 2nd one was almost soft core porn!!! O_O!!! DAngel-san tell me you've seen those? I thought the entire series was fan-service enough and was a fun series to watch for the heck of it. But DAMN!!! these 2 short specials push the limits of ecchi to like i said almost hentai-ish. You have to see them to understand...if i was an anime character i would've lost at least 2 pints of blood from the nosebleeds i get after seeing them. Lucky for me i'm so used to hentai & stuff like this that it was like watching a sitcom. Though i have to admit it was a tad strange to see a mainstream anime series go to these lengths for fan service. HOT DAMN!! Chizuru!!!! HOT DAMN!!! *note* 2nd special i wished i was in Kouta's shoes...though i think he might have died at the end...it never really showed what happened to him :P  |

Yeah I saw the final episode yesterday and I enjoyed the series throughout. I really, really love this series though. It had everything that I love in a short series like this. I've heard about those Specials, Izumo, but haven't seen 'em yet. Are they RAW versions since you watch stuff as they just come out (RAW), or are there some fansubs for it, too? I wouldn't mind checking it out. I can handle it. XD Overall, I hope there's season two or something, but the ending was a nice ending which makes season two debatable... which is a shame. I'm surprised you're so shocked that these specials were nearly hentai. I've seen series that had hentai versions to it, too, but it's still a bit uncommon for me these days, haha.

i got interested on these posts thats why i checked it out at u-tube, and all i can say is got damn! it is like haruhi / lucky star on ecchi mode. hope i can dl these series also. otakus surely want to fill in koutas shoes - thats fanservice anime, they have these plots like these. but considering the animation, it is very nice indeed, im surprised about its innocent detail, and came to find out p*****s are showing already. |

Ummm, I don't really see how they compare, but alrighty then... ^____^" Okay, they were short, but you know what? They were too short. Too dang short I say! To be honest, I'm kinda disappointed, but it's not because of what you're thinking, so relax. I'm disappointed in one, because both together were shorter then the Azumanga Daioh Very Very Short Movie, and two, nothing really happened, though I think fans that followed the series wouldn't give a darn anyways. Izumo was right. Seeing them raw and with subs (from Moetaku) aren't really different at all. The only thing that is said in both are basically "Kouta-kun" and a line from Chizuru like "If it's Kouta-kun, I'll do anything for you." The first one was kinda hot, though I wanted more out of it. the one where she was bending over in her fox form was to die for. The second one actually involved more stuff, but it wasn't anything as well. Chizuru and Nozomu were t***y f***ing his face and stomach! lol, wtf Nozomu!? And he was like, suffocating!!?!?!? Haha. I think the second DVD special should've been the last scene in the last episode after the credits (which made it a happy, nice ending). Isn't it cute how Kouta's just sleeping there soundly, and his two lovers, the fox and wolf are already naked side by side of him? I was expecting something more like the Negima!? Haru and Natsu OVAs, but with more ecchi fanservice and of course dialog and some sort of scenes here... These two DVD specisl are like the picture books you can get for Code Geass' first season, which were kinda pointless, too. Overall, watching them is a nice four minutes at best, though not watching them, you still won't be missing out. Just in the specials, you actually see nudity, where in the anime, Chizuru teased you the entire season long. D:< *sigh* I wanted more... oh well... Kanokon season two anybody?

@ DAngel-san I wasn't shocked, more suprised that they went to that length. A mainstream anime that had a special that was borderline hentai. These were way beyond ecchi, alot of guys/gals here would be offended by such things. Heck, i remember people were offended by a scene in Shuffle! when Asa's bikini top came off...compared to Kanokon that is tame. So i wont be shocked to know not alot of members here actually watch this series. If that is the case it's a shame cause it's an enjoyable series to see for the fun of it. Not to be taken too seriously, when a series has specials like Kanokon has than even the creators aren't taking it too seriously. I imagine that each subsequent DVD release may have something like these specials also, so it may not be the last time we see Chizuru in all her 'bouncy' glory! |

this anime is funny...but i think it's a little bit overboard for an ecchi anime.. well personally i don't mind ecchi, I love them, but something just doesn't feel right. anyway, in the final episode kouta finally resolved all my anxiety. hhh....and they gonna have a harem party with nozomu too!!! wooaahh!! but, it ended before that happen, OK, fine, let it be...  |

im looking at the 'eye' drawings. u know, i kinda look at the eye artistry of any manga/anime, that's why i think its almost the same as SHNY/L*S. but im really surprised that when you first look at it, i thought it was some cutesy mild kids anime, but upon seeing the ecchi scenes, my mouth was really wide open! |

I think people sometimes judge the anime because of its fanservice value. People really shame down on anime that have ecchi scenes and fanservice, it's a shame really. This anime had everything anyone can ask for really in your average anime comedy/romance these days. The comedy was great, the romance made it cute and of course girls would love Kouta, and the "side dishes" just made it better. I can't really say "I'd fully recommend it", but I really loved this series. They SHOULD make a season 2, but I have no idea what season 2 would be about or what it would contain. It's a shame we only saw Kouta fight on his own after making Chizuru fuse with him for once. I still think that episode was fully made of win. Total awesome~ness.

Another DVD release another almost hentaish special although this one isn't as raunchy as the 1st one. This time the special is mostly for Nozomu fans! The first special is similar to Chizuru's 1st special. Still photo's of Nozomu in bathing suits, naked pics, & other nice positions all to soothing music. There were some very cute pics of her & there is one where she squeezes her breasts a little self consciously. The second special is Nozomu by herself in a classroom where she is being recorded by Chizuru asking her to remove articles of her clothing. She was almostnear the end when Kouta came in and interrupted things. A struggle ensues and the camera falls while Nozomu is still on the desk. She looked unphased by everything happening around her. Again not as ecchi as the first special so it'll be easier to pay attention too without seeing alot of fan-service. A nice addition to the Kanokon library, i'd be expecting more specials with every DVD release. |

Ah, I might not really look into this, who knows. Maybe if I'm bored, I'll check it out and see how it is myself. Though, I want like, a real OVA. I want something fun and funny, exciting and entertaining, something like the series in a way. Though what I definitely want is a SECOND SEASON!!

I personally loved it, though it's been criticized heavily due to it's fanservice value. If you can get past this what I call a little issue, then you might like it. It's funny, and the relationship between Kouta and Chizuru is quite cute, sweet, and charming. Fans are raving for a second season cause there should be one! ^_~`

If you watch the second OVA from the first DVD release (Chizuru-san), I think that's what they did later, lol. And once again, of course I'll be rooting for a possible second season!
