The sky was already orange by the time Sayuri arrives at the forest. She rushed to the house, and her clothes got scratched and ripped by the branches of the bushes she passes. She arrives at her house, and quickly enters to prepare dinner. She has been the one in charge of making dinner, ever since she could remember it. Before she was just asked by her brother to buy some ingredients, or to keep watch of the pot until it boils, while now she has learned to prepare and cook food properly. She usually get recipes from asking people in the market place while she buys them. She fills up a pot with water, and waits for it to boil while chopping some herbs. "I guess this means I'm making soup today" she says to herself. She never actually decides what to cook until she is already in the middle of doing it, well at least she never makes cooking fiascoes. Haru passes the market place to also buy some snacks for later. He looks up to the sky, and gives a deep sigh "Well we're managing our lives quite well" he thought to himself, as he smiles. He then goes on to their house on the woods. He always walks slowly back home. He never enjoys going home just to find out Sayuri hasn't even started cooking. That's why he just takes his time, and hope by the time he gets there, Sayuri would be atleast half finished. Sayuri puts all of the ingredients to the pot and mixes the pot and covers it. She then realizes that her clothes are ruined. She goes to a big cabinet made of wood. She opens one of the compartments to get a new set of clothes. "Hmm.. maybe I should also take a bath while I'm at it..." she thought. She checks back to the pot, and turns of the fire. Sayuri disrobed and wore a towel to cover herself. She took her bathing basket and goes to the nearby lake, where she and her brother does the laundry and bathing. The path to the lake is cleaned of any branches and bushes, and have stepping stones, to prevent getting dirty after taking a bath. Upon arriving to the river, Sayuri removes her towel and takes a dip to the river. The river was about 2 and a half feet deep and flows with cool refreshing water. Sayuri brushes herself with a sponge, and scrubs her hair with oils from flowers she gathered.

Kenji listened to the girl explain the current situation.It seems the town was going to have a festival and the mayor was away.Kenji was in deep thought,thinking of what to do next when the girl suddenly asked him what he was thinking. "What will you do now?" She asked, a frown decorating her face. Kenji looked at the town at her back.Carefully observing something.There was smoke where he had been previously.His eyes suddenly focused on the spot.He then turned serious. "Bandits." he thought to himself.As he turned back to the girl his serious face was replaced by a smile. "Well..Then I guess I have to choice." Kenji replied as he put the cloak back.The cloak instantly hid his body again. "Ill just have to stay in that place." he pointed the broken down bar "Its broken down but at least it'll protect me from the winds of night." "By the way.My name is Kenji.Sorry for the late introduction.And also thank you for your time.I seem to have bothered you." Kenji said as he looked at the things she carried. "On your way home?Be careful.I have a feeling this day will not end in a peaceful manner." Kenji said as he looked back at the smoke.

Genesis wiped his bloodied sword on a white cloth he found lying there.As a he looked back at the carnage he heard the thoughts of this inside his gauntlets.It was unclear but they were in agony. "Tch..Shut up." Genesis said as he rummaged the couch for some usable things.Inside a wooden box he found a Black Cloak.The Brooch on the cloak was that of a simple silver star with 16 points. "This should do well.." Genesis said as he put on the cloak.As if by magic the cloak adjusted to his length.Not even his boots were seen. After a while he decided he had done enough looting and made his way to the town. He walked for a few minutes...Then the minutes turned into hours.As he neared the town he saw a small Rogue encampment. "Bandits..Probably the ones that killed that caravan.." Genesis thought as he put his hand on one of his swords. He decided to just pass them quietly. "Attracting trouble even before I need trouble..its best if I avoid confrontation.." he thought as went slowly and quietly. As he reached the camp he put on the hood and passed.The Bandits fell silent and the leader walked right in front of him and blocked his path. "You know,Stranger..This here is our territory.You need to pay us if you want to pass..Or you can just walk away." they said to him. Genesis merely stood there without an expression on his face. "Cant talk?" the leader said as he approached him. "Look,were in a good mood today,So if you dont have the money just walk back to where you cam from." "I have no intention of doing what you tell me to do." Genesis simply said as he took a step forward. Instantly the leader drew his sword and said "Well I dont have the intention of letting you pass..." "You will let me pass." Genesis said as he took another step. "Over my dead body!." said the Leader as he lunged towards Genesis Genesis suddenly drew his ink-black sword and in one fluid motion,cut off the head of the leader. "Seems like its a bad day for you.." Genesis said as he turned his attention to the bandits that drew their weapons. "Come on and face doom." Genesis said as he went into a stance.

Sophie also noticed the smoke, and it's unpleasant smell. 'Strange', she thought, 'what or who might have caused that?' She contemplated, such events don't normally occur near this peaceful village. In fact, they haven't for a good fifty years. "You may be right... I guess I should hurry home." She nodded politely to the stranger, turned and walked off. 'Hmm, how shall I cool mom's temper... I guess..I could... wait.' She stopped and turned around. "We have spare rooms at my house, I'm sure my mom wouldn't mind. In fact she'd be appalled if I didn't invite you over after seeing where your staying." 'Hah, I'm such a genius. That is if he accepts...' Sophie looked away awaiting his response. She felt kind of awkward, inviting him over but she didn't want to face her mother's fury. Even though she was eighteen, her mother was the only person Sophie was deathly afraid of when it came to her wrath. Having someone over would most certainly calm the dragon. Her mother loved to entertain guests. [[If you wanna have your turn skipped post that you want it skipped! I understand sometimes you don't know what to say ]]

I'll just finish this up and just wait for the next day or event] ------------- The sky begins to darken, Sayuri finishes off her bath and dries herself with her towel and wears a new set of clothes. She walks back to the house. "It's getting dark, I hope brother is already there" she says to herself. Upon reaching the house, she notices her brother's slippers outside and she perks up to greet him. "Welcome home brother" she said with a bright smile on her face. "Welcome back too, Sayuri" his brother replies. "So how was work?" she asked. "Well the usual, I guess" he replies. Sayuri then goes to prepare the dining table for dinner. Just as Sayuri began to cook her brother suddenly recalled something. "Wow I nearly forgot. Sayuri, we've been invited over to Lana's house for dinner. I told her we'd come... I hope you don't mind.." He gave her an apologetic smile hoping she'd come along. Sayuri faces her brother with a bright smile on her face, "Of course I won't mind, don't give me that face, brother, you'll get old sooner" she jokes. "I'll just freshen up a bit then we could go, okay?" As she was walking towards her cabinet, she had an uneasy feeling. She ignores it and goes on. After her brief preparation, she is ready to go. "What took you so long" Haru said with a chuckle. "Let's get going, Sayuri" He extends his hand to her and Sayuri holds his hand. They walked out together, back to the village. -------

Kenji was already walking away,His mind on his stomach,which was growling with hunger.He was so hungry he couldn't think of anything else.Then girl suddenly said something. All Kenji heard was "...spare rooms at my house..." and "...invite you over after..." Kenji suddenly stopped.His brain suddenly woke up and started to work again. "Inviting me over..Spare rooms..Food.." his brain kept on repeating. Kenji looked back at the girl and said "Well..its just that I dont feel very comfortable on becoming a free-loader." "And besides.You dont even know me that much." Kenji said as he fought his brain. "Shut up brain! I can handle this!" he said to himself "Thanks for the offer anyway.Ill manage somehow." Kenji said as he started to go back to his temporary "House" His mind still on the smoke. "This night'll be colder than any night Ive experienced so far..." Kenji thought as he stopped in his tracks.One of his hands grasped the hilt of his sword. "Wait..If trouble gets here..This girl's family.." Kenji suddenly realized. "On second thought." Kenji said as he turned back to the girl. "If I might be able to intrude in your house,I shall do so.But I shall also help out in any way I can." Kenji said but he had other intentions in mind. "This way when trouble gets here I can at least protect these people.I dunno why Im thinking like this.Hmp..Probably something to do with my past." Kenji thought as he crossed his arms and smiled at the girl. "Ill just get my stuff then,if you'd be so kind as to come with me." Kenji said as he waited for a reply.

There were two travelers who passed by the wrecked caravan.Small flames here and there.As they reached the last carriage they saw a small burial site where the bodies where laid to rest. "Hmm..Good of somebody to do that." said one of them. They paid homage to the bodies and went back to their journey.On the Outskirts of town,cries of pain were heard. "Whats happening there?" thought both of them.Suddenly a man,bloody and wounded,came running at them. "P-please!H-help us!" said the man but he was suddenly cut in half. A jet black sword stained crimson came swinging down. The two travelers were shocked and took a step back and drew their swords. "S-stay back!" shouted one of them as he looked into the eyes of the Stranger "Hmp..More?Reinforcements?" Genesis said as he looked back.His Cold blue eyes seem to freeze his opponents. "R-run!!!" yelled one of them as he tried to run. "Futile!" Genesis said as he sliced him into half effortlessly.He then turned to the other one. "Y-you killed him!" he said as he ran towards the bandit camp site in search of a hiding place. As he reached the campsite he saw the massacre there.He was frozen as he saw everything.He realized something.He was going to become one of them. "T-this is madness!" he said as he felt something go through him.He looked down and saw the tip of the ink-black sword protruding.Strange he thought.No pain nor the feeling of getting pierced. "Die,scum." Genesis said as he pushed the rest of his sword through and sliced upward. The traveler started to fall slowly,it seem to take an eternity for him to reach the ground.Genesis merely stood there. After a while he wiped his bloodied sword and put it back. "Tch...Not even worth my time.." Genesis said as he proceeded to the town.His face expressionless as he made his way.

"If I might be able to intrude in your house,I shall do so.But I shall also help out in any way I can." Could it be Success? "Ill just get my stuff then,if you'd be so kind as to come with me." Thankfully he changed his mind. Sophie could not hide her smile of relief. She quickly walked over to accompany him to his living quarters. At first she didn't recognize the wreck, but then she remembered what happened. The owner suddenly disappeared. It was simply as if he vanished. He had no children to carry on the place, and everyone thought the place was haunted, so it was closed down. Recalling what it originally looked like, she was amazed at its current condition. Afraid to get too close, she waited for him to retrieve his things. She couldn't help but stare at the smoke. Her instincts predicted danger. Sophie was usually always right in her predictions, some thought it was magic related, but she knew it was just common sense. She really worried about the people of the village and their amazing lack of common sense. Oh well. Five days before she would officially, in everyones eyes, be considered an adult. The festival was sort of a christening for newborns and new adults. It happened every year to celebrate new lives, making it to an adult, and also celebrated the departure of aged ones to the other world. OoC:Hope no one minds I changed it so the festival was in five days ;]

Kenji went inside the broken down bar.He quickly got his stuff and thought "I've really got a very bad feeling about this..." He finished gathering his things,which were consisting of his small rack sack.He then went outside and saw the Girl waiting.Then he realized something. "You know." he said as he went towards her "Your inviting me to your house,yet you haven't introduced yourself.Might I know your name?" "But lets talk about it on the way to your house.Ive got this..Lets just say I feel something bad about the atmosphere here." Kenji added as he looked at the smoke.

Genesis performed an act of burial for those he killed.He dug a big hole and put all the bodies in there. "Genesis..Our Order does not simply kill..Our order does NOT leave traces of those we kill..Always burn the bodies of those you kill..." said a voice of an old man in his head. "Tch..Even when your dead you still bother me,old man." Genesis said as he found a flint. "Ashes to ashes...Dust to dust.." Genesis said as he lit the torch and with his usual expressionless face,threw it into the bodies. "Tch..This is going to smell.." Genesis said as he made his way into the town.

Sophie nodded and began to lead the way towards her home. They passed the villages only school which was currently closed due to the festival. Behind the school, she lead him through the small playground. Sophie tapped everything she passed, the swing set, the slide, the jungle gym, all out of habit. They walked until they reached the dense forest of large trees that surrounded the village. To most, the forest seemed dark and threatening, to Sophie, it was how she got home. Pulling aside some large tree vines and revealing a small path, she motioned for the traveler to enter. As soon as he did, she followed behind and returned the vines to their previous position. For Sophie, going home was like an adventure, even at eighteen years of age. She quickly returned to her position as leader and continued to lead. "My name is Sophie." She replied along their walk. "I hope you don't mind the length of the walk.. We should arrive soon." She looked back at the traveler to see if he was doing ok.

Kenji said as he looked at the playground and started to hear voices. Then they went into some forest in silence.After a while the Girl suddenly talked. "My name is Sophie." She replied along their walk. "I hope you don't mind the length of the walk.. We should arrive soon." She looked back at the traveler to see if he was doing ok. "Sophie,then." Kenji said as he looked around the forest. "Dont worry.If you've been like me,traveling the whole world,you'll get used to walking these distances. In his mind he was still thinking about the smoke.He then realized he sensed a presence.A very strong presence with the aura of death on it.Without realizing it he put his hands on his sword hilt under the cloak.

With a yawn, Key's father exited the kitchen. Sophie nodded at his words. She felt a brief pain in her heart, her desire to travel not yet fulfilled. Hiding her sorrow, she continued onward. Upon reaching her home, Sophie unlocked the door and ushered the traveler inside. Sophie lived in a large two-story wooden house. Considered a mansion by most, it was abandoned hundreds of years ago and often claimed to be haunted. About twenty years back, her parents found it covered in vines and plants and decided to call it home. Receiving no objections from the village, they quickly moved in and slowly remodeled the house over the years. The remodeling involved replacing the wooden floors of the entire second floor along with repairing the roof and several of the outer walls ruined by plant growth. A tree actually grew and continues to grow in the left side of the house. Not the type to destroy nature for selfish reasons, they simply re-built around the tree. The house, or mansion, whatever you prefer, has nine full size bedrooms, four bathroom that use a modern style of plumbing, a living room, dining room, two kitchens, and a general sitting area. Sophie personally believed her home to have originally been an inn. They entered a small greeting room, a sliding glass door directly ahead of them. A rack hung to their right to hang coats and jackets, and a shelf to their left for shoes and other accessories. Also a small table with two chairs sat in the right corner. Shoes were not worn inside the house. Sophie removed her muddy sandals and placed them next to the shelf. She asked the traveler to do the same and if he wanted to hang his coat. "Mom! I'm home," Sophie yelled opening the sliding door as she waited for the traveler to remove his shoes and whatever else he pleased. Loud footsteps were heard coming in the their direction. "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" A nervous smile covered her face as Sophie indicated a chair next to the table that the traveler could sit at. "NOT ONLY HAS IT BEEN RAINING, I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU WE WERE HAVING GUESTS OVER TONIGHT, I NEE-" Sophie's mother peered through the doorway and spotted the traveler. A light blush decorated her beautiful face. She looked from the traveler to Sophie and then back to the traveler and then back to Sophie. Standing at five feet six inches, Sophie's mother, Lana, was nearly identical to Sophie. Though she has long straight dirty blonde hair, is a bit taller and more developed, the two are often mistaken for sisters when they meet newcomers. "Hi, I'm Lana." She smiled at the traveler after regaining composure. )(So! the attack will be scheduled for mid morning. I hope you plan on staying at Sophie's house because the village is going to be destroyed... They know not of the home in the forest so for a while it will be spared. We shall make tonight a nice night ;] Akihiko, aside from you, a large group of evil burly men with faces like cave men will attack the village, you can be their leader or just someone else trying to make a profit off of others death. Also! Now would be the best time to arrive/knock on the door. Sayuri and Key can meet on their way there or as soon as they arrive. Don't forget to include how you prepared yourself before arriving like if your bringing something like a dish to eat. Oh, Lana invited the three of you over because she wants Sophie to have friends and not be lonely at the festival tomorrow. Just in case you were wondering. It's going to be a feast and hopefully everyone will get to know each other's characters better and develop better friendships or... enemies :O! Akihiko isn't involved cause he's a killer ;] Message me if anything :])(

"Yes father" said key. After his father left the kitchen, he started baking the dough. ”don’t try to burn the house? What am I? 10 years old?? I’m better than any 10 years old when I’m 10 years old. And why Sophie didn’t say anything when she came??” the oven interrupt his thought, it was giving a sound. A hissing sound, well in a room filled with sound of burning charcoal only an experience baker know how to. The bread was well baked. A bagel, lots of bagels. “I think maybe I should cook there… better off soon then, before her mother start cooking”, key gather his tools. The clearly visible one is his pan. No chef goes to journey without his pan, along with line up knives and of course spices. “All set, off we go” he said to himself He wrapped up the bagels and left to changed his cloth. Well, the one with more manners. By the time he finished he had wrapped himself with the best coat he got, with the majority of black color, ornate with some stitches lining. He wore white shirt with criss cross sewing from the neck, down about 2.5 inches as ornate. Added long dark brown pants and shoes, he is all set. "maybe I should change my shoes..." his thought but his thought was interrupt by his father "ARE YOU A LADY??? HOW LONG DO YOU INTEND TO DRESS UP!!" yelled his father "wonder why those outcast wants our son dear, but thought it as goodwill" "but what if he doesn't come back?? our only son...." key heard his mother cried. Living in a small- well most part for bakery -has it's advantages and disadvantages. There are no secret to hide in this house and there are no secret can be hide in this house. "if he's gone then we now who's done it" said his father "well duh" thought key. He looked at the clock and the clock's hands wasn't pointing to the friendly number. He rushed down passing his parent and goes to the kitchen taking his bread with him. He then goes to the living room, "bye mom, dad" he bid farewell. "wait son....... you don't have to go if you don't want to..." said his father. He was surprised. His father, showing uncertainty, thats the first time. "well... I want to go... I know Sophie, well not that I 'know' knows but she is fine, so I'll be alright" After that he got his parent blessing to go to Sophie's house, so then off he goes. He goes out and turn to the forest path to Sophie's house. "well it is a rare thing, her mother invite people.. what should I do when I got there? oh man... it's a girl's house, what does she wants???" his thought was stopped as he reach Sophie's front door. He took a deep breath and knocked the door, feeling nervous.
