Actually, this anime is slated for 51 episodes. We'll be seeing lots of Soul eater stuff for one year. ^^ I can't wait for Death the Kid's episode too... i want to see just how he will make me laugh XD I expect a lot from this anime.... This is Bones! This studio never disappointed with their animes in the past. edit: episode three subs are out! |

oh wow.. I just watched episode 3.. suprisingly, I think my fav character is not going to be death the kid, but one of his guns, Patty XD She's just so cute O_o Death's issues with symmetry are killing me..

I think Kid's OCD makes him hilarious and mixed with Mamoru Miyano's voice, I think he comes off as a well made character. He is definately my favorite character of this series. His two guns are so funny too. Definately a series to look forward to this season!! Though I am a little disappointed that Kid is not in the next episode (eps 4), hopefully he will be in the next one. He cracks me up XD I think Maka's voice matches well with her carefree and strong personality. It is definately a unique voice.  |

so far, I have no exposure to the manga.. although a couple of my frens said the manga was so-so, but personally, I really like the anime series.. Can't wait to see what happens when the 3 pairs have to team up. Will Kid have issues with Maka's non-symmetrical weapon?? I mean there's NO way that a death scythe can ever be symmetrical, is there? XD O_o.. I just remembered something.. Soul does evolve later on, it was shown in the OP.. now that's a symmetrical scythe if I ever saw one.. And on the other hand, Black*Star will just "love" working with Kid, cos Kid is sooo much BIGGER than he is XD

| I saw 4 episodes :) I think it's a quite interesting anime of course I haven't readed manga so I don't know the full story, but i thik that Soul eater will be amazing anime:D |

I'm for Death the Kid too...! most characters are unique and their personalities are intriguing. o.O Death the kid interested me the most... episode three was totally hilarious. |

finally got around to watching ep4.. lots of good fighting scenes in this one XD Black*Star teams up with Maka~! I dun dislike B*S so much this time around compared to ep2. When the situation calls for it, he'll perform XD And he's quite good actually.. I love the way they put in references to all these cult characters~! So far, there's Blair witch, the godfather, still wondering who's lupin O_o (robin??) he looked like the flash though. And the newest ones are Rasputin and Frankenstein. Did I miss out anyone?? I thought the layout/timing of ep4 is very fresh.. the OP actually comes after the ED. And the next episode preview was like a mini-trailer by itself. Nice. Starting to love Maka's seiyuu as well. She pulls of the yelling parts quite nicely XD makkaaaaaaaaa CHOP~! *Is this what they call 'extra lessons'????* X3

I wonder how far everyone has watched to up to now.. I dun dare to say too much for fear of spoiling it for the others. To my knowledge, there's a collaborated sub group that's quite good, but they're kinda slow. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to mention names here, so I won't. I've tried out 3 different groups subbing it, including the one I mentioned above, and settled on a 'relatively' new sub group. I actually prefer the subs by this group over the supposedly more experience one XD And they're pretty fast as well. Well, I've seen up til ep5 at the moment.. it's been good so far. And yes~! the preview for ep6.. Kid finally meets the rest of the gang.

Watched ep 6, can't said i love this anime but am bored so i will keep watching, beside, opening by TM Revolution!! XD!! but man symmetry... Kid's life is way too tiring!!

I'm still on episode 5... I'm following Rumbel's subs.... I usually settle with a more known group which provides constant releases. bkno9, we're free to discuss fansub groups in the anime section. Gendou specifically set which things to talk about in the anime section..... "Discuss new anime and fansub groups". There's no harm in mentioning them ^^; Episode 5 was a shock for me in the end. So, Stein was Shinigami-sama's accomplice after all. i really thought he was a villain, he acted that part well! o.o |

heeeeyy i'm following Rumbel's subs as well XD lolz.. you're right, I've gotten so used to the forums that I forgot that small description of the sections >_<; I was actually hoping to follow [A-E & Saizen] at first, but they are kinda slow.. and like i mentioned, I actually prefer Rumbel's subs. Well, that's only a personal opinion. And yes~! I really enjoyed ep5. Stein was really sadistic, and he really hurt B*S bad.. I suppose it was part of the 'test'. So now, we know that B*S has the ability to tap into his own wavelength, and he can take up lots of damage. Poor guy.. I can foresee him being bashed around a lot more than Maka or Kidd. Maka showed a softer, weaker side.. >_<; i kinda like that part about her XD

| never heard of this till now but i just checked out the opening to the anime on youtube, looks like a good show, different from the usual anime shows, but yeah i think i'll check it out once people start posting it on youtube or somewhere. |
