Hoshino... Nanaka... who else? Aoi? Shuri? Hinako? The last two or three episodes where she was the main star, I thought she could like Sana then but who knows. She likes Shuu, not sure if she still does but she's had her moments with Sana a few times already. The part with Sana hasn't been revealed in the anime yet. I was also curious as well. There's also what he said to Shuu on the train and his relationship with his mom.

The visual novel won't release until December. There's the light novels you can read, but I haven't read any. I hope it's not an ending like School Days. Who would kill who here. o.o`

yeah, who would kill who.... but wait, that old lady seems a bit odd well something eerie about that lady...something about that grandchild of her, about the festival and all what was it again ep5 or 4 and i'm betting that under sana wristwatch there is a slit scar, by whom it was inflict i don't know

The dog in episode seven is also missing. I hope that box... no, it can't be! O.o` She's scary, like she lost her mind years ago or something. The old guy who plays with Sana is pretty cheerful, though. ^_~` Hmm, the way Nanaka sees Sana with Hoshino a lot is like Sekai seeing Makoto with Koto a lot. Dang, this sucks... >.>`

Just saw episode 8, and it was really intense. The ending is very dramatic and powerful. The "mail box" scene was really scary. At that point, I was thinking "School Days", but nothing like it will end like School Days did. Yuzuki-sensei grows cuter and cuter. The flashback moment with her and Sana was cute. The next episode looks weird. There's more stuff with Nanaka, but Hinako gets captured by some weird people... XD

yeah... i first i think this anime is about school life we're your childhood friend come back and they got hooked up.... but now it's just plain weird.... child + blood = higurashi well don't you think it weird, story shifted for example: kodomo no jikan, higurashi, school days and myself;yourself something not right don't you think..... T.T give me back stories like shuffle!, final approach, etc... T.T

Episode 8 left my heart beating hard. Nanaka's past was revealed, and I'm thinking Sana's past might have to do something with that watch and school he went to before... |

Just finished episode nine here. The anime is getting closer and closer to the ending; so short! I'm loving Nanaka more and more, and she might be my favorite character thus far in the series. So far I think I like everything about her. Her family issues are very similar to Shuri's as well. Who really burned down her house when she was younger? I hope it isn't anyone in that household... The next episode looks like it'll mainly be about Shuu and Shuri. I wonder who Shuu was talking about during the episode when Hinako tried to get with Shuu. Near the ending of that episode, Hinako was walking with Sana home and she told him what happened that day with her and Shuu. She said something about Shuu not interested in getting into relationships, because he has someone he cares for just as much as a lover... I wonder, if that was his sister or his best friend, Sana? I thought it was Shuri, but I'm not 100% sure myself. Anybody else have a prediction or know exactly? [edit] Oh, forgot to mention to Otakus in this episode, too. So funny. XP

Was his dad even mentioned in the anime yet? If it was, I might've missed it but I don't think he was at all yet. The only thing we know is that after he takes a shower, he has a phone conversation with his mom every night. It's possibly he has family matters that he doesn't want anyone else to know about, even Aoi. By the dialog, his mother seems really worried about him and like I said before I hope she's not in some hospital or something.

I agree that Shuu might have some feelings for his sister, not just plain sibling love. Omg!? Incest!? Perhaps it is just my imagination, but the opening theme song did feature Shuu and Shuri together, alongside the tower clock. I have a feeling it may hold some hidden meaning.  |

Yeah that could be a secret clue as well. In the same episode when Hinako was trying to hook up with Shuu, Sana was asking all those random questions to Shuu in class. On one, he looked over at Shuri and described a girl which Shuri already is... except with larger breasts. XDXD I'm going to re-watch episode nine. I'unno, I just want to. :3 [edit] Hmm, watching the intro here and I think it's more like they're just showing the brother/sister. I'm not sure who was crying in red there, but it could be Hoshino (just some strange thought in my mind). The part with Hinako and that giant Yeti is just too cute! ♥♥♥ This is one of only a few anime that I actually watch the entire intro. It's just that great. =>.<= [edit-2] Just saw ten here, and OMFG! This anime has turned into something similar to School Days! So much drama, intensity, action, dang this is one fully packed anime episode! I'm so shocked with what went down, and a little shaking up since the volume was uber loud so I heard everything as if it was right in front of me. First off, that old lady is such a maniac. I can't believe what she almost did to Shuri, but Hoshino ended up taking the hit. O.O` Then we saw another Sana moment where he freaks out whenever he sees blood and he grabs his wrist. Which convinces me more that under that watch, there could be some serious scar he got a few years ago. I know how tough family situations can get, since I've been in heavy arguments with my dad before and I've been through them with close, nearly family-like friends as well. The events in this episode were almost like some chain reaction type thing, just one bad thing after another. I love Shuu/Shuri's relationship as brother and sister. I hope they don't leave in the end. The next episode is "Confession", but I'm not sure what's going on yet. Maybe Sana/Nanaka? Who knows... Also, I wonder why Shuu/Shuri's dad didn't notice that his wife was gone. Maybe her and whoever she was drunk with sent that letter since before they left that bar, she was talking negatively about the twins. Man, very intense episode. You have to see it A.S.A.P.!!! [edit-3] Ah, I didn't really like episode 11 but the title really tells you a lot after yous start watching it for yourself. Well, I liked it but it's more like you didn't really like it because of what occurred during the episode. The preview for the next episode seems really sad for some reason. The end of 11 was pretty emotional, and we find out what Shuu said to Sana those long years ago when Sana left on the train out of the city. Sana repeats the same thing to Shuu... and, you have to see eleven to find the second part to that out as well. [edit-4] Man was I scared when I thought the anime was only 12 episodes long! I think it's 13 episodes long, so the next episode will be the last and final episode of the series. One thing I noticed in 12 was that Aoi-chan's mom is really cute, yet hot as well. I thought she had a cute look to her when she opened her eyes and winked at Aoi. Kind of shw33t how she told Aoi some embaressing family memories from middle school. She even fondled Aoi's breassts for a bit, too. O.O` Yuzuki-sensei is pretty cute as well, but I'm still with Nanaka, who was also cute in this episode. I loved the way her and Aoi were sitting at lunch. I know it's normal and whatnot, just got a random thought and thought it was uber~cute. =>.<=

Last episode, episode 13...the past of Sana and Nanaka is revealed...wasn't as bloody as I expected for Sana's but Nanaka's past was kinda unexpected... Shu and Shuuri made an appearance, 10 years later. Aoi is still the same. Sana became a bit more 'manly' while Nanaka still looks the same...hmm....and guess who got a little brother and still haven't grown yet? Overall, the ending is not that satisfying...wishing there's another episode >.< |

Yeah, I want another episode as well, but I'm not sure what would be included. I like episode 13 (not "the ending"), but I feel they need one more episode or so cause... it feels "unfinished" to me. We saw Hoshino, and I think you're talking about her brother as well? OH! HINAKO is cute as an adult! And she still wishes she was a part of Aoi-chan's bloodline. XD One thing that was left unchecked was Sana's mom. We never found out his relationship with his mother, and I was always curious about that as well. Maybe if an episode 14 exists or would be added (doubt it), then a scene could be Sana talking to his mom (ten years later, still), and how he married Nanaka. Well, I'm not sure if they would still be talking on the phone, maybe we would actually see her in person. That open air concert was nice, and like you said we saw Shuu and Shuri again. We didn't see their faces, but... ahh... D:) Yuzuki-sensei is still there with them, or with Sana I should say, and she's like Sana's best friend [in life] now. I wish I had some relationship like that with a cute female teacher like her. It was good though. Hmm, the blood was "black" in this episode, maybe because of the "School Day's Incident", a few short months back. That site of Nanaka in the bath was kind of frightening, cause I thought she was already gone by the time Sana came in. I thought something happened to her aunt as well, but guess she was still at the market or whatever. D: One of my favorite series right now, and yeah I'm pretty disappointed there's not another episode. I want MORE! T-T` [edit] Gonna do some research to found out that nice, melody background theme. I really like it. Almost made me cry when it was used in episode nine or so, with Sana and Hinako in the ending.

Weakest ending ever <.< . Compare to Ef, Myself Yourself should have been better. They had way too many story lines to finish. I think they rush the ending :(. Super sad now T.T . They need 13more eps!!!! They need to properly finish the twins situation. I want to know what happens T.T

The 10 years later thing was a rush job done badly. Ive seen better bad endings than this one. Sana looks my dad from the 60's with that hair and Aoi got longer hair so she got cuter, And Nanaka turned out to look as beautiful as her mom. So in the part where nanaka cuts her wrist and bathes in hot water.. does the hot water make you pass out and If you wanted to kill yourself wouldnt you slit your wrist vertically to sever the arteries? I prefer the original japanese suicide of the tightrope and the chair trick though not that im thinking of doing it.  |

nothing really special about the ending, my biggest disappointment is the fact that they didn't show the full version of nanaka's song arghh!
