I play tuba, but I usually don't do anything in a solo type situation, I usually only play in a group setting. Right now, for example, I am a member of senior drum and bugle corps Minnesota Brass Inc. We currently don't have any recordings up of this years stuff, but when I get some, I will try to remember to post it here. You can get more information about this group at www.mnbrassinc.org such as what it is we do, and what music we are playing this year and even opportunities to see us perform this year (mostly in the Midwest area around Minnesota and Wisconsin unfortunately).  |

@Sesshomru/you: it is nice to know someone else from Minnesota. I am also from Minnesota. I haven't tried playing in any band yet because my schedule is quite busy. It would be nice to hear a recording from you. |

Benfok:: well, i said collab meaning sort of like duets kind of stuff lol sorry for using technical words that i don't even know how to use! XD would u mind giving me your e-mail? it'd be easier to contact and discuss details. i wouldn't mind typing out pieces for the piano and flute and we could record our bits and put them together as a piece :D  |

@lady maia & without you: Like I said previously, I usually only play in a large group setting, but we do rehearse tonight (just like every Wednesday night) so I can ask the groups director about doing some recordings of the group, because we usually do that and then we usually post those recordings on our homepage as an mp3, which I could then in turn link to this site. Unfortunately, I will probably not have anything to put up for about another two weeks or so... HOPEFULLY |

I thought I should post my sheet music here in case someone wants it. Here is the sheet music for Hoshi Akari from Fate/Stay Night in its original key signature. I didn't transcribe the music as arranged in the song but I transcribed the mean melody. I wanted to fit everything on one page and I am not very good at putting repeat sign where needs to be. Also, I restricted the height of the image so it might look a little funky. Simply save the image on your local drive to a full view. I will try to lay down a track tonight of this song and post it.  |

wow Hoshi Akari was very pretty *V* perhaps more dynamics would've made it dramatic. some rubato would be nice too >D otherwise it was really good!! do u still wanna do a piece together? :P we could do some famous OST or sth XD |

I think my next piece would be "My Destiny" from Angel Heart. I requested the instrumental and it is now available for download. It has a very nice piano opening. I would like to do a piece together. I suppose you would play the piano and I would play the flute. One song that I thought was very nice is "Tori no Uta" from Air - TV. I am in the process of transcribing it. It is actually quite a complex song. If you have something in mind, I would love to hear it. |

I finally found a video of Minnesota Brass, unfortunately it is not the most current video available, and the quality isn't the greatest. The video is from our 2003 season entitled Dreams and Fantasies. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzF0S_xypT8 Above is the link. The music that we played was: 1) Drume Negrita into Celebration Suite 2) Adios Noninos 3) Con Te Partito 4) Nightmare (Spanish Fantasy IV into Conquistador) This show was at our Midwest competition on finals night at the midpoint of our season in Dekalb Illinois. I did march this season, but not that this IS IN A GROUP SETTING, so there are many people playing. I hope you all enjoy this. I will continue looking to find an mp3 of our 2004, 2005, and current season (as I was unable to participate in the 2006 season) for further enjoyment. |

Tori no Uta would be a good song to do :D i was also thinking of sadness and sorrow from naruto.. after you recorded your bit (acapella), send it to me or sth so i could add the piano bit in ^__^ (which might take time coz i'm gonna hav exams soon)) |

@ICD: Sure. I will try to record Tori no Uta this coming weekend. I have heard "Sadness and Sorrow" from Naruto. I will listen to it and see if something I can play. Don't worry about time constraint. I am also busy myself. But I think between you and I, we can get this done! ^__^ And, I learned a new word today, thanks to you. (acapella, that is). |

Wow you guys are great. Its nice to know there are talented people here. :D I play guitar as my main instrument. [electric, acoustic, jazz, etc.] Minor instruments: bass, piano/keys, drums. I'll record something once I'm done fixing a problem with my mic.. Good job guys.    |
