About 14 minutes and 33 seconds into episode 8 of Mai-Hime, this really fast-paced (techno?) music kicks in when Akane's fighting this orphan. It starts off with something that sounds like a marimba playing a refrain, then it switches over to a paino, then switches back. I'd be very happy if someone could tell me the name of that song so I can request it.

I think the song you're looking for is called "Mezame." This song starts off with a string type instrument then goes techno with some "Noir-like" singing. Sorry, I don't have the episode to check. |

i think i know the song you're talking about, but i don't know if it's even out there... i've got the first soundtrack and it's not on there...

Akane is the girl with Harry and was the first HiME to lose right? I don't remember...I think I know what you mean...I think it's a song called "MAIMU!". This song was in episode...3? with the lingerie stealing orphan too and the episode where Harry dies *poor Harry...and Kazu-kun*. I think I'll upload this right now.
