Can anyone tell me what is the BEST tool for making games? It should be able to make : - Action games - RPG games - Board games - Card games - etc. Heaps of thanks!!

Well, if you wanna make games, a good place to start is flash/actionscript. You can make just about any kind of game using flash and actionscript. If you want a good free program that might be a little easier to use, try: http://www.gamemaker.nl/ <-- gamemaker. good luck! |

best choice for beginners is by using Macromedia Flash and actionscripts.. heehee.. but first, just try to read some ebooks that may help you decide on your game design ( coz, there's a lot of things to consider in making a game ).. if you want some more advanced game programming.. you can also create a game using C++ and Visual Basic.. (i prefer using Visual Basic 6 and .net) you can use DirectX libraries and stuffs.. just try to learn some object oriented programming first and APIs.. goodluck! ^_^ ..it's easy if you'll only try.. ^_^  ...
