I think it's a nice anime... And has good plot, great cast and experienced seiyuu... But the ending quite bad... |

the anime version of FMA is generally more depressing than the manga version. ie. in my opinion, although the anime has funny scenes here and there, the manga is more cheerful and humorous. the anime touches a lot on the issue of "tobira" (the "gate/door" which often appeared in the story) compared to the manga (so far). this tobira actually links Ed's world and our world (the world which WW2 had occurred) together. one question here: which is the actual real world? sometimes it makes us wonder if we are really the only group of men living in this universe. i have a feeling that the producer of the anime might have obtained this idea of "the real world, the dream world and the passageway between them" from a famous japanese writer Murakami Haruki's works. next, the thing about Ishbal people, and the Ishbal War. is the producer trying to hint something related to real life happenings? i believe there are certain values and personal opinions in the anime that we might want to consider. for instance, "how can a simple move cause an unforgettably serious occurrence?" "why is it that human relationships are sometimes more complicated than we've expected?" thirdly, the bgms are mainly orchestral. which is quite interesting to me.

FMA is one of my favorite series. the story was good, the charcter development was really good, a few twist and turns through out the series, and a very cool concept. so for those of you who haven't seen this great series yet and were thinking about watching it, don't procrastinate no longer. |

fma is my life :D the anime is well animated, but nothing over average tho, i feel that if they stuck to the manga instead of inventing all a new story it would have been the greatest show ever made. too bad cuz the story of the manga has an AMAZING plot and everything fits and makes sense (also its a lot more deeper and has better characters) but i still recommend it to everyone :) FMA rocks. |

Ummmm, I think just about everyone knows almost everything they'd care/need to know about FMA, why don't we pick a less known or at least less easily understandable series, like RahXephon or FLCL.
