Ska Bands

Hey. I'm wondering how many people listen to ska. If you do, what bands? I recomend The Know How and The Planet Smashers, smaller hardcore ska stuff. Anyone else? |

My two favourite Ska Bands Remain to be The Mighty Mighty Bosstones (which I've met XD) and the Toasters |

Its all about Street Light Manifesto and Catch 22. With a Side of The Mad Caddies. |

Ten 13 Concept and One and Done are two more not so bad bands if you can see them. Problem is they're small yet. (Like still Florida bound.) Check them out on Myspace. Same with The Know How. YOu will thank yourself... |

Oooh, ska.... :) A topic near and dear to my heart. Agree with Know How and Planet Smashers, I can also recommend 7 Seconds of Love, and the Aquabats since they're just totally retarded. My brother has a ska band, Back Up Jackson, who used to play with the Miasmics, who sadly broke up early this year, but still have a buttload of liveshows available at archive.com. I used to see Catch22 back when they were just doing local NJ shows... and the Know How aren't totally stuck in FL; I saw them when they were doing an east coast tour. |

Bad news about the Know How: they might stop doing the whole touring thing. Apparently, Alex(the one with the keyboard) is leaving and he arranges that sort of thing. This is still all rumor but, just FYI sort of thing... Aquabats= funny. |
