Overriding hyperlinks???
|
I tried to do the thing where you link to a picture for the nickname, because it said I could use html stuff or something, and I wanted to do fancy text for my nickname (I'd drawn it) but then it said something like "you may not over ride a hyperlink in your nickname." I don't even know what that MEANS, much less did whatever the computer accused me of on purpose. Could someone tell me what I did wrong so I'll know what not to do? It said something about being able to use html stuff, so I tried to link to my image at photobucket. Then I even tried resizing the image bacause I thought it might be too big... Did I do something wrong somehow??? What does it mean to "over ride a hyperlink?" It sounds like something out of a war movie. Is it illegal??? Help!! |

Because your nickname's supposed to link to your profile only. If yae override it with a different link, then we will never be able to view your profile page. However, yae can use links on your signatures. ^^; EDIT: Oh, in the 'about me' box as well! "To be forgotten, is worse than death." |

Okay, thank you...but it says by the modify nickname thing " This is how your name that will appear in the forum. You can use HTML tags! Warning: Avatars may be no larger than 25px in height! (hint: use height="25")"...what does it mean?? At DeviantART.com I have an avatar, so I thought that I could here...and you seem to have something like an avatar in your reply to my question...how can I do that?? |
