its been, I think 2002 since the 9/11 stunt they pulled. quite frankly for me, I think the war should be over already because I know its hard for us to try and defend our selves when one of our missions is to rescue their home and save some of their people from getting involved in this war and getting themselves killed just because Suddam Hussen says so! Their using some of their own people and convincing them that we the great US are the bad guys. and besides that George Bush is not a good president. Well he isnt of my Presidents list. He does things that doesn't even getting involved with the war. I watch this news channel in the morning in my school about everyday, adn its rare to see George Bush even being involved with the war and Iraq. He wasn't there in New Orleans to help out the people with the horrible hurricanes, and he's not helping us win the war. He needs to get out of thw white house cause everytime he says something, its just a different meaning of what he really says the last tema he made a crappy speech. Come next Election, Bush will not win, and he should not win but its all up to the Electoral votes to vote for who should help lead us to Victory, but it better not be bush. I dontunderstand why people vote for bush, becuase he doesn't really prove nothing to me.. ~end~ ------- |

My observations: 1. 9/11 was bit a "stunt"! It was a coordinated attack conducted by the followers of Osama Bin Ladin. 2. Osama Bin Ladin has nothing to do with Saddam Hussein's dictatorship. 3. Most people are morons. Thats why they vote for Bush. |

People are stupid by nature, though I have to say that Bush is probably smarter than he looks. You have to admit, the timing for announcing war on Iraq was flawlessly perfect. People are driven by emotions, and would spring against Iraq so fast it'd make your head spin the MINUTE the SLIGHTEST rumor that Bin Laden was connected to Hussein came out. |

All I have to say is that the reason Bush is doing everything he does, (or what he doesn't do), is because people voted for him. If they would have voted for John Kerry or somebody else, we might not have as many problems in the world. (I hightly doubt my last statement is worth anything. This world is screwed with or without Bush.) |

I hate it when people say "Vote for the lesser of two evils." You didn't say it, but I'm just saying it what these stupid people perceive to be the point of voting. @SkyAlchemist - HELL YEAH this world is screwed. |

Gendou Wrote: "Osama Bin Ladin has nothing to do with Saddam Hussein's dictatorship." Of course not. I dobut the two could stand each other. Osama is a highly religious Sunni, and Saddam was seccular. |

I have to play devil's advocate just because everyone deserves a fair shake. Plus, that is always fun. 1. The situation in New Orleans is a bit inconsequential to Pres. Bush's position. Local emergencies are the duty of the local government. Nobody will admit it, but the mayor and govenor dropped the ball on that fiasco. Blaming Pres. Bush for not responding to natural disasters that are the issues for local leaders is a bit ridiculous. Oh, do a little research about what some of the resources that were provided for evacuation were used for. And, do a little research into what the "locals" are spending their aid money on. Just something to think about. 2. Any leader has to act on the info. he has at the time. I am not defending him, just stating a fact. You can have your personal prejudices, that is fine, but you are not a cabinet member or a CIA operative. It is a bit obnoxious how everyone becomes an expert in intelligence when Bush comes up. He did state his plans for attacking the sources of terror in the world very soon after the whole 9/11 thing. If you look back, he mentioned Korea, Iraq, and Iran. Many people have problems with Republican Presidents because they usually have strong foreign policy. And, whether you like it or not, the media does have a tilt towards the Democrat side. If you doubt that, look at the political affiliation of all the people who own these big media companies. Also take a look at what higher education in the States is like. So, you have to remember that your opinions are tainted by a definitive sway to the left. I am not a republican myself, but you don't have to be one to realize that the information you get can be swayed if the "powers that be" want it to. An example of that is the old Russian newspaper "Pravda". It litterally means "truth", but it was a Communist newspaper that only praised the Party and shifted around the news to cater to the parties propaganda. The saying was "there is no truth(pravda) in the news, and no news in the Pravda(Truth)". Mel, a war is being fought. The civilian casulties are a product of a war that is being fought against terrorists without the clear boundaries of a battle field. If you look at the accidental deaths civilians as opposed to the troops who have been killed from insurgents and suicide bombers, there is a very stark difference. I am not a total fan of every move that Bush makes. But, I don't go against him just because everyone says he is bad. Objectively, Saddam Hussein was not a good leader. If anything, he was a tyrant. It is very convenient to criticize a war that freed people from a tryant, when we sit in our nice apartments and enjoy freedoms that not everyone in the world enjoys. I am not trying to use that as a justification, but it is something to think about when you look at the war. And as for Devil's-angel, Bush cannot be re-elected for a 3rd term. That is the law. |

I'm really confused about the war in Iraq. What is the war about anyways? Aren't we supposed to be helping the people of Iraq. If we are, then why are we there fighting and even killing the innocent people there? |
Re: Comments:Iraq vs. USA

Umm...On the subject of Bush, if he's so unpopular, why did people vote for him/why the electoral votes ruled in his favor? This question isn't supposed to come off as snobby or anything, just a simple question from a little-confused kittykat. @Mentalis-san, nice "devil's advocate" ^^ You brought up good points |
Re: Comments:Iraq vs. USA

I think the war start because both EHM and Hitman has failed, and because both of them has failed in Iraq the US will use the old way called invation with military power. As a symbol I can be incorruptible. |

the foolish of the politicians cause all of these... why can't people live without any discrimination... no matter what is the religion or race or anything that make us look different... we are still human being... right? |
