Dirty Pleasure

Any guys or girls out there that find themselves enjoying Animes aimed at the opposite sex? Im almost a little embarrased to find that I generally enjoyed watching Chobits among a couple others and Im a guy.  |

Not really... I don't really enjoy those too girly too be true animes... I prefer blood and violence... With some comedy..

Yeah. Me too, I love Bebop and Triguns a classic. Advent children too but i dont know if that counts as anime... |

really?i'm a guy but i;ve watch alot of anime aimed at girls...like MariMite,KareKano,Kodocha,Gakuen Alice and Chobits my absolute fav,just to name a few.i dun find it wrong to watch anime aimed at the opposite sex |

It doesnt matter if it's bloody and violent or if it's too mushy and sentimental as long as it interests me. Besides i don't see anything wrong about it. There's no rule saying a girl or a guy cant watch this and that blah blah blah...    |

Actually.... Chobits im pretty sure is aimed at guys... Girls really arent interested in seeing chis panties and hidekis imagination of her in the bathtub... They know that deep down inside that all guys want to be that girly anime main character even though they say they hate him =P

i've heard of middle-aged housewives going crazy over shounen-ai stories. paedophiles (age comparison), haha! my mom calls this phenomena "obasan-shumi" (auntie interest). =p

Really? I'm a male but i enjoy both Shonen and shoujo anime either it's full of fanservice or violent stuffs. However,i still considered myself to be kind of 'weird' since i'm MORE addicted to anime with kawaii Lolis,Mahou Shoujos,Bishoujos more than Shonen anime(BUT i still consider Bleach and FMA as the BEST anime) [MY EMOTION TODAY(look my sig below):TYPE C]  |

i don't really have a preference to any genre of anime, i like them all be it chobits, cowboy bebop, love hina, trigun,...you get the picture. but i know that my brother really enjoys anime that are of the romance genre. but he also enjoys watching any other genre too but romance is his fave. but when all is said and done what my point was, cliff got it right, "as long as the anime is good who cares"  |
