Scat Singing

First off, for those that don't know, scat singing is singing, but not with words. It's just singing a bunch of nonsense words, like "zabba dee doo bee bop skibbadee doo bop" or something like that. (Of course the Japanese version of that would be totally different.) :) I found two good anime songs that are entirely scat singing, and they're really good, too. Check these out. .hack://SIGN - Mimiru .hack://Legend of the Twilight Bracelet - Jump to the Blue Sky "Jump to the Blue Sky" is actually has more "doo doo doo" than anything else, which gets repetitive, but other than that, it's a good song. "Mimiru" is awesome, and this lady sings so beautifully, too. Anyone know any other good anime songs with scat singing in it, either in the whole song or part of it? And I'm not talking about backup singers scat singing in the background just to add to the harmony, I'm talking about solo singers, the lead singer in a group, or an entire group. I'm curious what Japanese scat singing sounds like in general. L8er. |
