Uploading an existing song again at higher bitrate

Was wondering if, although a request has been uploaded, would it be OK to upload another one of higher quality if the original one is below 128kbps? I'm particularly talking about Ask DNA, the opening theme of Cowboy Bebop. It's at 56kbps. I have it at 192kbps.

I dunno, but it says in here that a file is to be encoded at 128kbps. Please also consider this: Uploading better quality version. Nagetekurenai...? "To be forgotten, is worse than death." |

FYI: ask DNA is not the opening, Rush is the opening theme. Yes that file is in shitty quality, feel free to request & upload a high quality version.

Thanks for the answers. Once uploading is enabled, I will go ahead and post the 192kbps version. Say, how come my uploads aren't showing and the songs are still on the request list? I did this about 2 weeks ago.
