JLU cancelled? Shame!

I've been reading on the net that the series Justice League Unlimited might be cancelled. Now, I also read that the teen titans will also be cancelled, if it isn't already, but to lose the most intense and most well done comic book based series since Spiderman; it's unforgiveable. The writting on that show is just magnificant. There is so much possibilities with a vault of DC characters. One concept that just pulls at me is the relationship of the characters. Here they are, the worlds greatest. People who can transcend time and space. Yet, they are played off as normal people who play cards with each other on their down time. I enjoy Marvel a lot, but you have to agree with me that JLU has surpass anything Marvel has done on the animated series portion of the superhero mythos. Isn't it a shame? |

Do you mean new episodes or just everything?? I thought Cartoon Network still shows these shows... Or maybe this is where you found the info or don't get Cartoon Network or something else...^^...If so, sorry, but then again, hope this helps! |

Actually, Samurai Jack was taken off the air as well sometimes ago. Don't worry, since these shows are such an attraction, they will bring them back in a couple months or so and the ratings will go up. They did that with Family Guy, to. Now that was unforgivable!

Well on YTV (Canadian channel) they took Justice League off of the friday lineup but it still plays, saturday 11 am and wednesday 7 pm now. Teen Titans plays friday 4 pm, saturday 9 am, and sunday 4:30 am. The schedule changes constantly so I had to stay up on several occasions to catch the rerun. Samurai Jack plays at 12:30 am (that's late friday or saturday morning). I like this channel as it continues to bring in new anime (last friday was the premiere of fullmetal alchemist) and they brought shadow raiders back for some reason. But yeah, it happens often where a show is taken off the air only to return later. In fact, it usually happens at spring break to give previews to new shows coming. I'm sorry, I'm aware that not everyone has this channel but from years of watching, I've seen YTV bring several shows back up to several years later. If a show was taken off a certain station, if you get enough people to email or write to them, heck they just might bring it back. I REALLY miss spiderman and x-men, the one that played on saturday mornings Fox kids tv but since then they switched to foxbox then 4kids tv, haven't watched since (my cable region at least, I'm sure those stations still exist somewhere). Family Guy=yes. I had no idea why it was taken off, it was very popular. But at least it's back now. |
