Di Gi Charat Radioplay [STAFF NEEDED]

Hello, I am interested in doing a Di Gi Charat Radioplay and am in need of some staff. This project may take a while to get off the ground so it'll require you to have a large amount of patience. What is this, you may ask? Well, it will be sort of like episodes of Di Gi Charat, but with original scripts and no animation. Only sound. There will be background music, sound effects, and voices. STAFF NEEDED: Voice actors (9, possibly 11) Writers (2 needed) FX directors (1 needed) For voices, you don't really need to have a very big knowledge of Di Gi Charat, but I'd love it if you knew what the Japanese seiyuu (voice actors) sounded like, because I want to keep the voices as close as possible. For writers of "episodes", you need to have a fairly extensive knowledge of Di Gi Charat. For FX directors, all you have to do is obtain sound files of sound FX I request. You don't need any kind of knowledge of Di Gi Charat, except I'd like you to have a vague understanding of sound effects in the show so if I request something specific (i.e., "I need something that sounds like Dejiko's laser eye beam"), you'll know what I mean. Voice Talents Needed Di Gi Charat (Dejiko) http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y273/NamikaAi/deji.gif Dih Jee Karet (Deh jee co) MAIN CHARACTER Age: 10 Description: She has a relatively bratty voice, and an attitude to match. As the princess of Di Gi Charat, she often loses her temper quickly and blows people up a lot. (XD) She works in Akihabara. Dialogue samples (you can use these when auditioning, or you can just say whatever you want): (evilly): Nyo-ho-ho, are you so sure that's what you want to do, nyo? (angry): That Usada makes me so mad, nyo! (shouting/angry): LASER EYE BEAM! (happy): We're eating riceballs today, nyo! Petite Charat (Puchiko) http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y273/NamikaAi/puchi.gif Peh teet Karet (Puu chee co) MAIN CHARACTER, BUT DOES NOT SAY A LOT Age: 5 Description: Dejiko's sidekick and best friend, Puchiko has a soft voice with a sharp tongue. Even when emotional, her voice usually doesn't change much in pitch... Note: If I don't find a voice for Puchiko that I don't absolutely love, more likely than not, my sister will take over her role. Dialogue samples (you can use these when auditioning, or you can just say whatever you want): (tired): What a long day of work, nyu. (apathetic): Put me down, nyu. (somewhat angry?): Laser eye beam. (annoyed): Puchiko tries hard too, nyu! Usada Hikaru (Rabi~en~Rose) http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y273/NamikaAi/rabi.gif Oo sah dah Hee car oo (Rah bee ehn Rowz) MAIN CHARACTER Age: 14 Description: Another clerk at Gamers, and Dejiko's self-proclaimed rival, Rabi~en~Rose is a charming young girl who, even though she fights with Dejiko a lot, truly just wants a friend. She can have a bossy tone, but also a warm, friendly tone. Dialogue samples (you can use these when auditioning, or you can just say whatever you want): (angry): I hate it when you call me Usada! (cheerful): You can find that card series right over here! (shouting): Rabi~en~KICK! (laughing/snobby): Ah-ha-ha-ha, I knew Dejiko couldn't handle it! Pyocola Analogue III (Piyoko) http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y273/NamikaAi/piyo.gif Pii yoh colah Ana log the third (Pii yoh cco) ONE OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS Age: 8 Description: Determined, but friendly, precocious, but gullible, Piyoko is a good girl trying to be bad for the sake of her planet. She is intent on capturing and ransoming Dejiko with the help of her gang. Noye: If I don't find a voice for Piyoko that I don't absolutely love, more likely than not, I will take over her role. Dialogue samples (you can use these when auditioning, or you can just say whatever you want): (sweetly): Good morning, Dejiko-oneechan! (oh nay chan) (laughing): Pyo-pyo-pyo! My evil plan is working, pyo! (shouting): MOUTH BAZOOKA! (commanding): Rik, Coo, Ky! Go get 'em, pyo! Coo http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y273/NamikaAi/coo.gif Kuu SUPPORTING CHARACTER Age: 13 Description: Coo is Piyoko's best friend as well as a member of her gang, the Black Gema Gema Gang, and a member of the Piyoko Keeping Operations, AKA the PKO. He can be a little bit self-centered, but he deeply cares about Piyoko, and he's fairly laid back. He Piyoko's personal doctor. Dialogue samples (you can use these when auditioning, or you can just say whatever you want): (whining/complaining): I don't see why I have to tag along. (determined): You can do it, Piyoko! Rik http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y273/NamikaAi/rik.gif Rihk SUPPORTING CHARACTER Age: 26 Description: The oldest member of the BGG Gang and the PKO, Rik is the brains of the operations and somewhat of a father figure. He is a vet and loves animals. Dialogue samples (you can use these when auditioning, or you can just say whatever you want): (concerned): Pyocola-sama! You shouldn't push yourself so hard! (baby-talk o_O): Aren't you a cute little birdie? :3 (serious): Here's the plans for capturing Di Gi Charat. He's always obsessing over Piyoko's well-beeing and sometimes gets jealous of Coo for being so close to her. He is Piyoko's dentist and is very serious about her dental care. He tends to overreact a lot. Dialogue samples (you can use these when auditioning, or you can just say whatever you want): (excited): Today, we shall succeed! (I dunno... o_O): Pyocola-sama, don't you want to have healthy teeth? (upset): Why is she always so nice to that ruffian? He's a bit of a weird one, though. (questioning): Do you have the Di Gi Red trading series? (excited): I love this series! Description: This rich student has an irrational crush on little Puchiko. He's a little weird. (annoyed): How rude of her to interrupt us! Rodoyan http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y273/NamikaAi/rodo.gif Row doh yawn MINOR CHARACTER Age: Unknown (maybe 12-13?) Description: Rodoyan, an American boy, is a big fan of Dejiko and her friends, but he has a special fetish for Usada. He is very eccentric. Dialogue samples (you can use these when auditioning, or you can just say whatever you want): (excited): I'm happy to meet you, Dejiko-chan! (disappointed): Oh, that's too bad. (excited): I'm your number one fan! Roles not needed: Gema (I'll do him myself. o_O) Background characters (just random characters that might pop in. I can do those myself too.) Roles that may not be needed: Puchiko (my sister can do her pretty well, but if someone better auditions I'll probably give them the role.) Piyoko (I can do her pretty well, but if someone better auditions I'll probably give them the role.) Writers To be a writer, you need to realize that I am allowed to edit your scripts as much as I like, or I can even completely vetoe your script. Also, I will alternate the story scripts between myself, one of the writers I hire, and then the other. You must either write something I request (i.e., "I'd like this to be a romantic episode") or make something up (i.e., you feel like writing something funny). To audition for this, write an "episode" to submit to me. You can PM it to me. Sound FX Directors Only one person is needed for this role. It is not a very difficult role. All you need to do is obtain (good quality) sounds files of certain anime sound effects when I request them (i.e., "I want a door opening effect, I want a jingling bell effect, I want an explosion, etc.") Auditioning for this is not required. Wow, this is really, really awesome!!! ....Unfortunately, I don't think I have a pretty voice. At any rate, nobody's ever complimented it or anything... ...........*sigh*.............. But, just wondering, where would I go to find the Japanese voice examples? (assuming you still need people) |

I TOTALLY need people. I haven't even gotten one audition. e_e; Uhh, let's see... you can look up Japanese episodes of Di Gi Charat on youtube dot com. Just use "Di Gi Charat" as the search criteria and you should find lots of stuff. Go through episodes, look for characters, etc. Feel free to audition for as many roles as you like. ^^ |

Err......You said you thought of doing one of the voices...So how do you get your voice cute yet include everything else?? I tried Dejiko and......well, I don't think I hit the mark very well....>.<...Like, too high-pitched, maybe??...... ...Any suggestions to help? Bc I like this idea!!.... ..... Have to go now, I guess I'll keep practicing...^^ |

Um.... o_O Just imagine the character's voice, and the character's personality, and give it a try... And since there's not a lot of interest, go ahead and submit your auditions even if you don't think they're good. Pretty large chance you'll get the part since I haven't gotten a single audition yet. ._.; |

Ok, still practicing and doing awful :)......... But if I ever *insert sigh/moan here* get it right, how do you plan to actually (physically) get auditions and that sort of stuff?? |

*weep* Well, I'm the worst ever....I made my brother listen to me and...Well, that was a stupid idea....... Ok I am still trying until your deadline comes up ^^ I just can't mimic Dejiko!!!!!!!!!!!!! She reminds me of Haruko from FLCL...And I can't do it......>o< ...Maybe I should try someone else unless you've already got people...^_^ Whether my talent appears soon enough or not, I still hope your idea works for you!! |

You can audition for as many characters as you want. ^^ I don't have ANY kind of staff yet, save for my sister who is probably going to do Puchiko, and my dad, who will do Mishter Manager and possibly Rik. XD; Also, I am considering giving the DUP (Dejiko, Usada, Puchiko) and the PKO (Rik, Ky, Coo) songs to karaoke. The DUP's song is undecided at this time, and the PKO would sing an english version of "LOVE, Pyokora-sama", translated by me. So it is preferred if you sign up for one of these characters that you can sing decently. ^^ |
