I just played this at school (yes, you heard me, long story), and WHOA! This game rox like no other fighting game I have seen. The array of characters, weapons, and fighting modes is incredible. Anyone else played this game? If not, find some way to play it--you will not regret it. And this is a game that n00bs actually have a good chance of winning. You see, if you just keep moving towards your enemy and press random buttons, oftentimes you get awesome moves. The combo system is a little different from others--you combine separate moves rather than a series of buttons. In fact, n00bs always seem to win at this game...I dunno why..... Anywho, my fav characters are Cervantes, Talim, and Raphael.
Anime is w00t. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about. =)

I played SCII at my campus for a while a year ago, then I got the home version. Yeah its pretty funny. And a beginner will not win against someone who is really good at it. Most people just don't know how to block in any fighting game. ♥♥♥Shinji |

Soul Calibur 2 has to be and is one of the best fighting games I've ever known. Besides Mortal Kombat and Budokai 3, this is an awesome product of the fighting genre! The range of characters was great, I thoroughly enjoyed their many backgrounds, origins, weapons and fighting styles. My favorite character would have to be Kilik, with his bo staff, Jingu or Kali-Yuga. Jingu is only useful if you know how to use it well with it's long range. Kali-Yuga however is well balanced. My best character however, would have to be Mitsurugi. Call me cheap, but he gets the job done with that Damascus Sword! |

Wow, the moment you said Mitsurugi and Damascus sword I totally relived watching a really skilled player whup some butt. We had decided to play with teams of players, and this one guy chose Mitsurugi and Kilik. The other guy chose eight different characters. Talk about an awesome match. The first guy took out four of the 8-char team with Mitsurugi alone, and then two more with Kilik before he was finally beaten, and barely at that. It was, to say the least, w00tness.
Anime is w00t. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about. =)

it is a best game that i've ever played, my most strongest character is nightmare! hahaha! beware of him! also yoshimitsu and raphael sorel! my most damaging character is astaroth! check out this website! my nick there is jagler! |

yeah that is a great fighting game but the only bad part to it is you get killed to easily.

Well you dont get killed that easy but the games fighting engine is well put together. Now for my my favorite character is no dought to be Taki because one, she is a ninja and ninjas are awsome. And two she is the second fastest character in the game. Now the characters i love to goof around with are Cassandra and Charade. And Wanderer Strife, Kilik is weakest against Taki because of all her moves that get her right in someone's face instantly :) |

Soul Calibur II is really, really great! My fave characters are Taki, Xianghua and Maxi... gehe

On all the Soul Calibur series that I managed to play, I like the Soul Calibur II because o fthe graphics are really so outstanding. Not like the previous and new Soul Calibur series, I and III.
