A Fullmetal "chickn or egg" question
|
I hope I don't sound like too much of a baka asking this, but...which came first, the Fullmetal Alchemist novels or episodes in the anime that follow the same story? Did Inoue-sensei (the author of the novels) write the books before the series came out, or were the books based on episodes that already existed? (Because they aren't based on events in the manga). |

The manga came out before the anime, but because the anime got too far ahead the animators created their own ending. This happend around the time that Greed was introduced *or was it when the snake girl was killed*. Any who the manga came first, and your question isn't stupid you wanted to know so you asked. |

Animenewsnetwork says that the 1st FMA novel was released 2002-02 and the anime 2003-10-04 to 2004-10-02. So the novel were writed before the anime. It's also very common the have an anime thats based on a manga or novel with same story line but diffrent events. manga: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/manga.php?id=2565 anime: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=2960 correct me if I'm wrong cause I haven't read the novel of FMA... |
