i need to understand pop art.. it's a type of art movement[like absract expressionsm] my brother already recommended that i look for examples of pop art in deviantart, .. all i know is that pop art means popular art ü m y . L i F E . i . t r a d e . i n . f o r . y o u r . P A i N . |

Pop art; something I think I can help with!! (I did an art essay last year ^^) Briefly, Pop art is a combination of art and "consumer culture" (Esaak). An example is Andy Warhol, creator of the Campbell's soup can paper design. This style includes advertisements, comic strips, and product packages("Pop Art-Artists and Their Works"). (The stuff in () were the sources I originally found) I hope this helps ^^ |

As kittykat said, pop art is modern art, like in the commersials, comic strips, labels, etc. Pop art can be anything relating to the modern culture P.S.: I'm a horrable speller, please forgive

hehe, thanks for all who helped me but, if you must know, i didn't make pop art anywayz.. i decided to create surrealism instead.. it wasn't a bad choice though.. ^^' i got a 99 üüü and, since my computer science teacher was asking for one of my works, i gave him that one since, it's the one that i may miss the least ^^' i really thought i'd get an 80 something for that one.. it was my smallest creation on canvas---yet[8"x10"]ü m y .
