I hate American - dubbed names. Yuck. Absolutely. I mean, whoever made Tomoyo into Madison must DIE. It's so disgusting. -shivers- Share your opinion people!

you know what i hate? those god damn popup ads with spherical smiley faces. now they have one that has sound. also, i hate commercials that boast how fast their dail-up speed is. who are they kidding, its DIAL-UP!? oh, and also i HATE HATE HATE commercials where you are made to listen to a 20-item list of all the "security" features some crap butt ISP has to offer. for christ's sake, all a person needs is an Internet connection, then download spybot or whatever!

Bad...really bad...(shivers) The Tomoyo to Madison is bad but what about, Kaoru to Cori in Rurouni Kenshin? Bad! Oooh...I have a good one, Usagi to Serena in Sailormoon.

Yes, I agree with Advi-san...Usagi-Serena...I got lost with the name switch at first... Shows like YuGiOh completely change names around too. When compared to the original names I knew in Shonen Jump, I was thinking AHHHH!!!! What craziness is this??? |

didn't they change the names to more westernised ones 'coz they wanna accomodate the westerns or people from english backgrounds? i dunno. *shudders*

| Hmm, but i don't really mind about those names from Pokemon... Satoshi-Ash... In fact i prefer the dubbed names in pokemon only since i don't see anything japanese from pokemon... But if the setting of show is clearly in japan (like CCS) and they change the name into something sompletely not japanese (Tomoyo-Madison), I despite them... |
