Question about Multiple Requests

I'm still relatively new to this, so if this question sounds dumb, sorry.

I've noticed how a number of people report rule violations on requesting a song more than once. I'm very curious, but how are you guys able to tell when a song has been requested before?

I'm thinking of requesting "Hajimari e no Tôhi" from the End of Evangelion album, but I don't know if it already has been requested.

Look at the top of the page. Hover your mouse over Anime Music > View requests

That's the list of songs currently requested. Most of the users who report multiple requests either use the "search" function to the limit or well they have "eagle eyes". Another good way is while on that screen, click on the anime name and it will list all the songs currently requested for that anime so it's easy to spot repeats unless the person who requested the song spelt the anime name wrong. While search won't guarantee finding the song as sometimes spelling is off or either english or japanese name of the song is used it's a good start.

Thanks. That certainly explains how they're able to accurately pull it off. I usually only report the ones that request video game songs (I play those a lot, so I knw what to look for), or the ones that falsify requests (like saying that a song is from an Anime and it's not). I might start hunting multiple requesters, too.
