Strange and mysterious anime

Can anyone recommend titles to me? I got tired of the typical samurai, shoujo, shounen, mecha, etc. anime. Some already recommended titles: Princess Tutu, Absolute Boy, Kino's Journey, Windy Tales, etc. More? :P |

kindaichi and zettai shonen's my fav mysterous anime. jikoku shojou is quite a strange anime,to me anyways |

Some of the most...mysterious anime, that I have seen would probably be Paranoia Agent, Serial Hunter Lain, and Texhnolyze. All three kind of have a strange, somewhat ethereal feel to them. The best would probably be Texhnolyze, it's such a dark, philosophical, and cool show.

Princess Tutu is DEFINITELY STRANGE. I mean, even the pictures are mysterious. DN Angel is sorta complicated and strange, if you get what I mean. Yes, Detective Conan is obviously mysterious. XD It's sorta freaky/scary too. If you get what I mean. =P

i think it's matantei loki and matantei loki ragnorok. it's quite creepy especially for the first episod for matantei loki.     |
