| Shinn Asuka. He is more of a human character. Kira was unforunately elevated to a god like status in SEED Destiny. He has become an ultimate Mary Sue, a far cry to what he was in SEED. Shinn has flaws, yet he manages to keep going ahead with his convictions and emotions. He isn't an ultimate coordinator, yet he can go toe to toe with Kira...and won! Shinn is more interesting because he is a flawed character :) |

To be frank with you all,why Shinn manage to blow up the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam?Its becoz....(u all got watch how Freedom blow up rite?)Shinn study about freedom/Kira's hit point on every MS and tried to outcome it~.And one more thing is that..(if u all can remember how Shinn stab Freedom's torso)Kira could actually avoid the Impulse's Excalibur-Anti-beam sword but he didn't,u noe y? coz Archangel was behind him and if he avoid it then archangel will might go KABOOM and Cagalli will "ATHRUN!!!!!!!!" and bla bla bla and so on~ So Kira would either pick to be blown up into pieces rather than the people's he swear to protect be in danger or hurt.Kira is too soft on his enemies..he would never try to kill them in battle unless he is force to,but if he is like Shinn or Athrun,he could kick all ppl in SEED Destiny's butt..but then the show would be abit too violence dont u all think?Anyway i like Kira and his ZGMF-X20A Stirke Freedom that machine is the BEST!!!

Kira Yamato, he got away from Shinn after the Freedom blow up (nice plan). He also got the skills like he has his own Zero System. I like his Strike Freedom because it has lots of weapons.

| Blah blah, this is just a more specific thread of the who is better pilot thread Shinn, Athrun, or Kira. Anyway, I would always pick Shinn Asuka. As some of you have ranted, I will rant too so... Shinn isnt afraid to kill, Shinn's sense of duty comes before personal feeling and crap most of the time, and finally Shinn usually doesn't hesistate in idealistic nonsense during battles!! |

I'd have to go with Shinn too. He'd actually be capable of killing someone if you pissed him off enough, Kira on the other hand is a wimp. But if you include Athrun into the mix, then I'd have to go with him. His skills are slightly higher than Shinn's.
