I love it, though it kills my sanity, as well as my budget. I've been cosplaying since 2002, and the process has really hlped to strengthen both my sewing and designing skills. I really hope to keep competing the future!

I think cosplay is cool, but PLEASE look the part all right. e.g I saw someone trying to look like Goku from Gensou. Nothing wrong, but Goku's a kid, shorter than Sanzo. This guy was one-head taller than his Sanzo counter-part. How can Sanzo whack him with the paper fan?!

I've cosplayed as Rakka from Haibane Renmei. The halo looked like it was floating above my head so it was useful when no one could find me in a crowd. If I want to cosplay again, I'll have to find someone with glasses this time, since I hate contact lens.

Cosplaying is really nice, especially if the cosplayers really put their best into it. Here is my list of my best-cosplayed characters (the top is the highest):

Tachikoma (I mean Tachikoma, life size)
Chii Motosuwa
Devimon
Mimi and Lilimon

Too bad I haven't got any pictures...

I don't cosplay, but my two older sisters cosplay. My first sis, Izumi cosplay as Roy Mustang from FMA while my other sis, Tsukushi cosplay as Aerith from FF Advent Children. They want me to cosplay as Edward from FMA but I don't want!!

lolol yeah, it can be just a tad creepy, but you gotta admit the more obsessed they are the more elaborate/good the costumes are...I've been going to anime north over in Toronto, ontario for abotu 4 years now and it never ceases to amaze me all the wonderful costumes people make and wear...I've gone as a randome cat girl, but i haven't done any specific CP yet. I don't have the means for the moment, but i am having a special outfit madefor this years AN convention in may...I wont call it cosplay because its not really lol, its a Gothic Lolita type of dress, and my friends are focing me to wear an anbu mask with it...beacuse they're all going as naruto charas XD so im going to be "the randome goth loli/pimpette/anbu" XD

I'm going as a Shinigami from Bleach at the next UppCon (sweden) and my best friend is going as Ed Elric from FMA. I've never cosplayed before (really excited^^).
It's really bad that there aren't any sort of cosplay shops here in Stockholm! I envy the japaneese cosplayers... and those who have the money and time to make their own cosplay! I wish I had the time...

cosplayers are alrite... you cant look at how they actually look but how well the prepared the costume and stuff for the event... it just shows their passion for the anime but i still cant stand crossplayers, sailor scouts with leg and underarm hair is just freaky

(enter cool sig here)

I don't have the money or the time to cosplay but even if I did I wouldn't cosplay. I find it to be a little creepy sometimes and I hate it when people cosplay as anime characters they don't look like. I think it makes the anime character look bad, but whatever, that's my opinion.

Holy crap, crossplayers scare the crap out of me. X_X; I saw this bald, fat, hairy guy dress up as Sailor Moon once and I nearly died.
