Has anyone actually become SO obsessed?!

I mean with an anime/game character that they were ABSOLUTELY sure they'd find a way to find the character?!?!?!? my sister has....she fell for Cloud... other obsessions work too... but this is teh major one for all otaku.

I actually have found real life versions of some anime characters. One of my friends look just like Haraguchi from Genshiken (and acts like him at times as well). As long as you're willing to scratch some of the minor details, you could find a person who is very much like any anime character you want (within reason).  |

I kno that. a dude named John looks exactly like Jak, from Jak II. it's like teh anime ppl are reality cuz, well, they were here all along...

Just my guess, but it probably isn't particularly a good idea to fall in love with a fictional character. Maybe that's just me, though.  ºAevaº aeva.livejournal.com |

Regarless of how obsessed I am with a particular character I do find some people to be strikingly similar to an anime character. The characters of Genshiken seem to be particularly easy to apply, maybe because all the characters are otaku... |
