That is a hilarious article. I read it a long time ago about when it first started making it's rounds online. Very funny, take it at a grain of salt. It spawned a lot of jokes among me and my friends about 'Context' and carborators... -Kazuki

cool, this guy seems to really hate Japanese....sounds overrated and sarcastic. But it's enjoyable, i like sarcasm. Some of it isn't true for me though...i learn japanese at school too, so far i'm pissed with kanji the most ^^;

Yup, read the bottomline ... ------------------------------------------------- Author's Note:This whole essay, although sprinkled with truisms here and there, is a joke and should be taken like one. I'm actually a Japanese major myself, and even if I've given it a bit of a hard time, I love the Japanese language, and I think everyone should give it a try. You should just be ready for a whole lot of pain. HAPPY LANGUAGE LEARNING!

this is not really a suggestion but if you guys have noticed, Japanese language has similarities with chinese up to a certain extent. That is why if you know chinese, you are one quater there already ^_^

I read that article a while back, and I'm kind of sad that its not there anymore. ^^ But its so true! And its not just applicable to Japanese, I believe Chinese is also the same... (praying Father doesn't hear/read this)
