walk through wall ?

well... i know its kinda silly... but a have theory to ask to you.

as we know that things is built form atoms... then particles... then tiny things... then a solid things... even diamond have a gaps between its particles... logicly... some things that smaller than gaps is can through that. ex. electromagnetic wave.

so if we can make our particles smaller than gap, we can through solid thing... if that ting is wall then we can call that walk through wall...

give me your opinion... thanks.

Do you Like anime ? I really love Anime ^^

As far as I know, the atoms in your body are so small and empty that if that was all there was to take into account (For an idea on how much empty space are in atoms, place a golf ball in the middle of a superbowl stadium, then a fleck of pencil lead on a nearby road. Congradulations, you just reached the first electron), you would be going through everything, including the ground.

Seeing as we are all still on the earth crust, there is obviously something more.

Atoms are smaller than the gaps.

The force that keeps our feet from falling through the floor is the electromagnetic force.

1, Electrons repel.
2. The electron cloud is a large area around the small nucleus of the atom.
3. We are made of atoms.
------------
Our atoms repel other atoms, thus keeping a solid shape.

The actual mechanics of chemistry are slightly more complicated.

i've seen this theory being visualise in "The Flash" (the one from justice league) before

it's an old story though

this is like how alpha, beta and gamma particles can pass through some objects....but humans walking through walls.....sure just make yrself a door

"The Flash" is science fiction, which is not real.
@RzmmDX, an alpha particle (two protons and two neutrons) will not go through normal matter. it may collide with an atom in your body, causing damage (radiation poisoning). or, it may pass between the atoms in your cells. this is not so much "going through" as "passing between". you can make a model of this by throwing rocks through the holes in a wire fence.

I think it is possible to walk through walls, at very intence speeds, or any solid matter. BUT then at such speeds the human body, would not be solid it most likly, would take on the form of abstract light.

Yes, but can light travel through normal walls?

Wise Man says: "Take a dog off its leash and it will wander."

@engineer: yea, how do you think infrared goggles work?
