A DVD burning problem...

I have a problem... I burned some .avi files into a DVD using Nero Express. I made it into a data file. After that, I tried to play the .avi file with my computer but it was unable to open. Its details are like Read-Only. Also, I am unable to transfer the file from the DVD to the computer. Is there anything wrong with my DVD or do I have to change the format? Is another program needed to transfer .avi files from DVD to computer? I made it a data file as my DVD player is able to read the format but it seems that my computer is not able to... I think you made a mistake somewhere, try doing it again. There is no reason that I can think of that should prevent you from reading that DVD. Ranger Yes there is, Nero. Nero is not the best for burning data files as data files. You're better off using Roxio for a simple data file burn. It's faster and more reliable. For ISOs and full disk images I use Alcohol 120%. Never had anything but problems with Nero. Anywho, try it agianm Rin may be right on that one. /Ranger  |
