Song: Hoshi ga Kanaderu Monogatari Anime: Mai Otome Well, the song posted is sung by two people. In the version posted it's 'Koshimizu Ami' and 'Kikuchi Mika'. There's another version where 'Kikuchi Mika' is singing it solo; as for other versions, I'm not aware of any. I was just wondering what would happen in the case of duets, because I don't know if there's room for two people? :s And uh, looking back at the other Mai Otome song posted (Otome wa Do My Best? deshou), that's also a duet by those two girls.. Sorry for the lengthy post. :x    |

I'll note, for the record, that Hoshi ga Kanaderu Monogatari does indeed have only two versions to date: Version 1: The Trio Album: Mai Otome ED Single "Otome wa DO MY BEST deshou?" This is the predominant version, and the one that was uploaded. While the album is listed under 'Koshimizu Ami and Kikuchi Mika' (and only they are featured in the booklet), the actual song features three voices: Mika Kikuchi (Arika) for verse 1, Ami Koshimizu (Nina) for verse 2, and Yukana (Mashiro) for verse 3. These are also the corresponding single verses the characters know and sing in the show. That said, 'Otome wa DO MY BEST deshou?' and 'HAPPY FRIENDS PROJECT' are both duets by Ms. Koshimizu and Ms. Kikuchi. Version 2: The Solo Album: Mai Otome Original Soundtrack Vol. 1 "Otome no Hanazono" This is the newer version, which features Ms. Kikuchi alone. It should be noted that the album art centers on the character of Arika, and the lyrics page for the song features three pictures: two of Arika alone, and one of her with Nina and Mashiro. |
