does anyone noe how to remove the pics on music that u dl or rip? on some of my music theres a little pic (that ppl add to the music)in the space on top of the music playlist in windows media player. the space is for "show media information". i wanna noe if its possible to remove those pictures      |

they are stored in the ID3 tags, which you can remove with most mp3 player programs.

i dont understand how to get rid if it tho...i dont noe wats a ID3 tag and the only program (that i noe of/have) is an mp3 converter that i just dled. I looked through the converter and i saw 2 selections with ID3v1 and ID3v2 but i have no idea wat it is and i dont thats it either...i didnt see anything to remove pics. if you dont mind can u explain step by step on how to remove the pics on the music files. o and also a type of mp3 player program...i dont think i have one...i dunno |

| If you have WM player (9 or better), just right-click the file and click Advanced tag editor and just find the option concerning the pictures |

i have windows media player 9 and i do use the advance tag editor thing but when i check the pics option theres no picture there. theres a pic above the plalist and i cant get rid of it. the only way i have gotten rid of the pic is to place one of my own. i dont want to do that all the time tho because it adds to the size of the music file and if i so happen to delete it from the advance tag editor the size of the music file it wont go baq to normal. |

anyway...thanx for ur help i found a way to remove these pics...but now im not sure if they are in the music files in the first place...i think they are hidden files..or something...when i was using winRAR i saw the files appear there so i was able to delete them. im guessing they're hidden files since i dont see them when i open up the folder...i only see them when i play the music and using winRAR. |
