How can I create my website's database?

My Final Project is creating the E-Commerce site. That's mean I,who just only have some skill in making normal page, have to manage to work with something like Database, Dialog box, Sale system, bla bla bla....*__* I don't know how to start, just know that I should have some templates of Database programming or the other like that. Anyone know where I can find these templates for my project. Actually I'm in major of Accounting, so, please don't tell me to learn'bout advanced PHP or SQL. It's too late - -"

Sorry, but you really have to learn PHP and MySQL if you want to have a website with a Database. This is how it works: The PHP script is used to get information in the database where the files you want are stored. The MySQl script is used to find the data stored you want in your database.

So, basically, you need to study these things in order for your databased site to function.

creating a database is easy:

CREATE DATABASE DatabaseName

This book is an excellent starting point for anyone needing to learn how to use PHP and MySQL. In a matter of hours you can have your first php scripts running, and in a couple of days you should understand how to use databases and php scripts together to create a dynamic website like Gendou's.

You must really learn to study PHP and MySQL to know more much of the basics. You can't comprehend so fast if you don;t understand the basics...

use the YAHOO!GROUPS as your site. It has a database. just think of a good plan on how to make it an e-commerce site and if you do, you don't have to study php and SQL. but php and sql are important and you might use these languages in the future so it is better to study it.
