Subbing and Karaoke question

I know it's somewhat impossible to ask this. But would you 'pro's kindly guide this newbie through the subbing procedure and doing those karaoke? Just... what software do I need. If there's a homepage and a short tutorial then I think that's more than enough. Or else, I'll just have to post questions after seeing how complicated the software. I'm so obsessed with this song and I wanna sub it, then show it to my anime club at school.
Nobody knows who I really am. I've never felt this empty before. And if I ever need someone come along, who's gonna comfort me and keep me strong.

Subbing a song for a karaoke machine, I have no idea. If you want to sub it like a fansubbed anime episode, I may be able to help you. I the case of subbing an episode of anime, you have a video to put subtitles on top of, but a song doesn't. You would end up creating a blank video and just have the subtitles by themselves. While I could go figure out how to sub a song for myself and then tell you, I would suggest you place this question in the forums of an anime fansub group, such as Rice-Box for an example, but any fansub group would do. I hope this could help... Power Video Karaoke creates AVI and MPEG karaoke movies using any MP3 or WAV files as soundtrack. Users may type lyrics in, use text files, or import MIDI karaoke (KAR) songs. Karaoke songs can have images, background animations, and various text effects. Power Vocal Remover is able to remove singer's voice from many recordings. The tutorial included in the documentation shows how to create VideoCD and DVD karaoke karaoke discs. As Power Video Karaoke shares PKD file format with PowerKaraoke, you may use the same source to create CDG and VideoCD or DVD karaoke - synchronize once and create both CDG and VideoCD or DVD karakoke Power Video Karaoke

wow, thanks guys. There are interesting and helpful things in what you guys said. I posted it on BA forum, but it's completely ignored. It's a PV I'm trying to sub here, and yes, just like how people do in anime fansub. The Power Karaoke stuff sounds very interesting, especially the Power Vocal Remover, I'll give it a try. Though karaoke is just something extra, the thing I really want is to put English subtitle in the PV so the club'd understand how funny it is instead of seeing the singer acting weird. I can do it in Adobe Premier but it just strain my 1.5ghz Semptron too much. I uploaded that song to gendou by the way. It's the ending of black jack tv, I accidentally get it in bundle with the whole bunch of other PVs because I didn't know the song's name, then I put the song's name on my Y!M status, my friend saw it and send me the mp3 version while I was trying to rip the PV's audio. I may ask for help translating it later on, but for now I'll try to do it on my own.=)
