I already know that lots of people are going to reply left and right about Sephiroth, but just for fun, lets start this anyway. My top three villians from gaming are: 1) Kefka~FFVI 2) Lavos/Time Devourer~Chrono Trigger/Cross 3) Kuja~FFIX  |

Wesker from the Resident Evils without a doubt. The black clothes and shades make him pretty bad and cool! Especially in Code Veronica. When the whole game has been about Alexia in hibernation for decades turning herself into that superbeing and when she finally emerges she runs into Wesker who she tries to kill but he ends up whooping her ass and running on walls and stuff. Yep He the MAN!  Everyday above ground is a good day  |

Kefka from FFVI IS a true villain Is there anybody who likes him? Cruel, spiteful, vile and surely a bad influence to our kids hahaha oh, and of course: disgusting. A guy that you would surely like do fight in the end of the game :P

To Vengo, I completely agree about Kefka. Another thing about him is that he was the first FF villian to actually accomplish his goals of world domination... until you go and tear him a new one. Another great villian is Gannondorf from the Zelda series. |

Yeah, Sesshomaru/you, i forgot to mention that "little" thing about world domination... Thank you for remembering that! heheheh but there are other villains... like St. Eva from BoF II, who deceive the whole world with his false teachings, dominating by religion oh, by the way, i have nothing against religions :P P.S.:Gannondorf is a great villain too!

whats wrong with Sephiroth..... but well I wouldn't call him the best, I would say in my book it would be Osmund Saddler from Resident Evil 4, he's calm, cool, manupulative, a good planner (well he didn't plan on getting killed, his only mistake on underestimating an american, but he did mostly plan everything to the core and most of it....kinda worked well..), has total and complete control over a village community, a Royal guy who had control over the village and still thought he did but well however we all knew who was really in control, priest guards, an island with a alot of guards totally under his complete control, very annoying creatures (IE: invisible insects), and even more annoying bosses (IE: El Gigante), he can as well to top all that off transform into a huge monster thingy....I can't describe it well..and plus he has this whole effect on us where we just wanna kill this guy. (personally I really wanted to kill him when he had Mike killed....) this Kefka sounds annoying...maybe I should try FFI....eh well I saw him in some flashes and I gotta say his laugh is annoying...  |

It is true that Kefka's laughter is annoying, but by the end of the game it is very gratifying to kill him. You just can't help but hate him, besause the first 3/4 of the game all he does is tow with other peoples emotions, while blowing up random innocent towns. And there is nothing wrong with Sephiroth, he has just had too much time in the spotlight for my taste. |

My personal favorite video game villain is....(drumroll)..Albedo from Xenosaga...he's quirky, evil, AND suffers from dementia, I'm sure..

Hmm... my favorite Villain in gaming would have to be... Van from tales of the Abyss. He not only destroys his country, but then proceeds to almost wipe out all of humanity to rid the world of the Score. Plus he's got loyal underlings, and when you fight Van, he's actually strong, so the fight isn't a total dissapointment like a few final battles can be. That and his english voiceover is totally cool.  Everyone has more than one face. |
