Machi's type of Nen is called "Henka," or changing. Changing because a nen-user that is a henka-type can change its own aura into something (i.e., Machi's aura into threads, Hyskoa's aura into Bungee Gum, Coltopi's aura into fake objects. Curarpikt (Kurapica) is Gugenka-type, which is an abitity to transfer your aura into objects and use it as a weapon. As for me, I would like to become a Gugenka-type. Materialization or Gugenka: Once a nen-user has mastered the materialization of a certain object, they can materialize it and un-materialize it (make it disappear) in an instant, whenever they want. It is believed that Materialization is the only form of Hatsu that can create things which ordinary people (who don't use nen) can see and touch. -from a Wikipedia article Basically, like Kurapika's ability to produce chains of unconsiderable length. I like how he uses his chains, so cool! He often reminds me Kurama. ^^ |

It doesn't matter what nen you're using/capable of, as long as yae are aware of it's strongness/weakness, you'll triumph impending encounters. Be smart! According to Kenshin though, in the middle of a fight, it's better to be lucky, than to be smart. The scene takes place from when he confronts Lady Magdalia's (Sayo) nii-sama (forgot the name). He calls himself lucky, as opposed to Sayo's smart nii-sama. Kou rocks! If yae can master it, it would be of great advantage. Only problem is, so much energy's expended. Ranyuu, ranyuu! "To be forgotten, is worse than death." |
