Since donating can be somewhat of a problem for me, I want to know if I can do these things to help. Would finding the artists of songs, a link for lyrics, or reporting requests that are already one the site/are dub songs be helpful? I know it's not as good as donating, but I want to do what I can to help.

i understand some people dont have extra money, and thats no problem! people lucky enough to live in a rich country and to have wealth are probably happy and generous. those are the people i expect donations from. if you want to help out, you can compile a list of lyrics/artists/etc that i do have blank in my database, and post it here. then i can go into the database and apply those changes/additions. this is nice and all, but what would be a big help is if you could upload a requested song or two. that saves me time searching the web and irc. ^_^

Okay, then. I try to upload at least one song every day from the request list, right now I'm uploading Stray. Thanks for your answer.

| I too am unable to donate. By uploading files and helping out in the ways you had mentioned, would we be able to gain the priveliges that people donate have? I think everybody would be happy to share their music either way, but I think this should still be clarfied. |

there are no perks for uploading, but i have been thinking about how to do that. i am open to suggestions.

if you can find a way to show how many files have been uploaded as a donational type (like "You have uploaded ??? songs") i would at least feel a bit better since when i go on i see the amount of files i've downloaded and then under it saying i've donated $0 and i feel bad that i can't donate money to such an amazing service that you are providing... i've uploaded a lot of mp3s that i have since i can't send donations (i'm like dirt-poor right now >_<)...some kind of way of showing how many files we've uploaded would be great...
IF there is a God and I ever meet him, I'm gonna kick him in the balls over and over...
